Steve Gould - Спорт
What new shotgun from Shot Show do you like the most?
I like to see you do a review on a k80
I would like to see browning citori 725 field in 12 gauge
Would love to see more in depth reviews on the different Franchi Affinity 3 models, and also the Browning Silver Models.
TriStar Viper G2 Pro
Stoeger m3020
Fausti Caledon, Rizzini Aurum/Artemis
Of the CZs, the Upland Ultralight is interesting because it is legitimately the lightest O/U anywhere remotely near its price point, and the one offered with extractors instead of ejectors (which I would argue is better for actual field use).
Steve- I think more ammo/patterning vids as you mention would be great....TSS, bismuth, non toxic, etc...look forward to seeing those. Also think reviewing some CZ guns would be great along with Fausti guns.
GIVE ME SOME LEADDDDDD
I agree with the patterning vids
I would really like to see more ammo tests and see patterning incorporated into the SOSA test.
I have a full size 940 Pro, but my heart's desire is an "all the same bells & whistles" 940 20ga weighting in at around 6 lbs.
I saw Berreta makes the A400 extreme 20ga. Could be an interesting video to see if it’s different than the ultima
CZ upland ultralight, redhead premier, and any of the side by sides. The upland ultralight over under is a sweet gun to walk through the CRP with and I think it deserves some light shed on it.
I know you didnt mention them, but I would love to see some Fabarm reviews, both gas and over under
I'd like to see a 28 gauge semi auto shootout. Beretta a400, Benelli ethos or other, mossberg SA, Tristar, and maybe an older Remington 1100 28 gauge for comparison.
My thoughts on Turkish shotguns. There are decent Turkish shotguns but there is a very important factor they need to have someone else in the middle doing quality control. Weatherby shotguns, most CZ shotguns, Winchester SXP, tri star, stoger and others are Turkish guns and decent guns for the money. However the no name Turkish brands have serious quality control issues.
Yeah I just recently purchased a 20 gauge TriStar viper g2. It would not cycle out of the box. I completely broke it down (even the magazine release mechanism). Ground and polished every sharp or burred area throughout the entire action areas of the gun (there were many). It runs great now, cycles everything now so far. But it was a lot of work and I don't think most (non-gunsmith) would be able/willing/daring enough to break down a bran new gun to the level I did to fix it.
Man, awesome videos. I would truly love to see the Cz redhead premiere review, and how it stacks up vs other guns.
All CZ shotguns are made in the backwards, third world country of Turkey. Poor quality, fit, finish and materials. You get what you pay for. Would you be proud to own a shotgun made in Papua New Guinea? How about Algeria or Ethiopia? Same thing.
Too bad Browning couldn’t pull their heads out of their new camo creating rear ends and come out with 20 and 28ga auto loaders
Truth!!!
Turkish shotguns are what I DON’T want to see more of. It makes me sad to see Savage has jumped on the “middle man importer” bandwagon to import and sell the cheapest Turkish shotguns they can for the most profit. You should haze them and encourage them to to further develop the Renegauge series into a competitive product instead of abandoning it.
Pains me to say that turkey manufactures better products than america does firearm wise.....
@@eduffy4937 there is absolutely no way. If you think that you clearly havnt shot any even middle of the road American made firearms
Savage has been on the race to the bottom for cheap junk since they brought out the axis rifles and the 555 shotguns.
@@chevyon37s savage has always been low budget stuff since the 99 was halted. They offer decent bolt gun actions but i would never spend money on anything with their name on itm
@@CCH-R what ones are those?lol
I would love to see you shoot the Rizzini BR110 Sporter in 20 gauge.
The above comments is a scammer 😡 I have reported them to UA-cam many times.
Thanks for the breakdown of the makeup of shot. It's way more clear what the mix is of tungsten/bismuth/steel
The Heavy Shot branding is super confusing. I had some recommendations for them 😊
Would like to see a showdown between CZ, Yildiz, Tristar, Stoeger Over/Under 20guages
The above comments is a scammer 😡 I have reported them to UA-cam many times.
I’ve got a few CZ over unders and love them! Great field and target guns for the money! And a CZ457 rimfire rifle that is awesome!
You should do a review on the mossberg silver reserve that would be great
I’d like to see a Fabarms XLR5 make it into your reviews to see how it compares to a SBEIII/Maxus 2/A400 Xtreme flagship level auto that we typically see from you. I see Scheels carrying more Fab models and am curious what a buyer gets for the bit more money. They look like really nice, the gas system looks like a formula one car when you peel the forearm off!
I 2nd that! I have a few versions of Fabarm semi auto, they are great guns.
It would be cool to see some more CZ stuff. Glad to see more Remington ammo come back, hopefully we'll see some new guns or at least bring back some older guns like the Versa Max or the V3
Would like to see you review the Benelli M2 in 20 gauge. I’ve been trying to find out if they still have the mid bead but can’t find anything on it. Also curious about the new forearm.
The Impala plus looks good to me. Steel rails in an aluminum receiver to handle wear of the bolt movement better.
I want to see a review of the CZ redhead premier 20 gauge
Me too!
Awesome stuff Steve!
FYI the Mossberg SA-20 is made by the same company that makes the TriStar Viper G2. Armsan Arms. I’ve seen several reviews on the SA-20 and all have raved over their performance & feel.
Was Remington there? What’s up with them? What guns are they producing right now? Have they made any changes to the older designs? Are they the same quality of 90’s Remingtons? Worse? Better? Updated price points? Replacement parts production/availability for common models? Who owns Remington now? All questions I would like to know the answer to. It would be awesome if you could do a whole update video on them.
I did not see Rem Arms there. They are producing shotguns. I made a video last year taking a look at the 870 Fieldmaster and Wingmaster. I think most if not all your questions would be answered in that video. ua-cam.com/video/7ry8YL-rPao/v-deo.html
I’ve always wanted a Dickinson o/u and never seen anything in stock. Something from them would be fun to see.
Or just any model from the retay line to consider in your practice tests... Thank you
Would like to see a Rizzini BR110 Sporter IPS to be reviewed. I've been eyeing that gun up for a while and waiting for a chance to get to a dealer to check one out. Unfortunately, the closest dealer to me is over 100 miles away so doesn't make it convenient to make a trip.
Hi, i'd really like that you test a bit more of the cz, so many options it's kind of crazy.
Noted! Thanks for watching 👊 Stay Target 🎯Focused (Hebrews 12:1-3)
@@TargetFocusedLife i 2nd the reviews of the cz line. The bobwhite g2 is an incredible value for the price point. I have the 20ga intermediate and the 28ga standard 28". I also own the drake in a .410 and a 12ga.
Definitely interested in CZ OU guns. Maybe one of the all terrain models if they are still making them. Thanks for the content. 👍🏻
Was Yildiz there? I realize Reed’s may consider Academy as a competitor but would love to see a Yildiz HPS (steel receiver) O/U review. They are highly regarded on the English UA-cam channels, and from what I’ve gathered on Shotgun and Turkey forums-great bang for the Buck. Am also curious as to build quality on the new 870’s.
I did not see them there. Yildiz is not exlusive to Academy to my understanding or am I missing something?
@@TargetFocusedLife yildiz in america to the best of my knowlege is only imported by academy. Wish that would change. They make an awesome .410
@@TargetFocusedLife Academy was the sole importer from what I have gleaned researching the brand, although around a year ago Yildiz USA started importing the higher end trap/skeet models as Academy focuses generally on the introductory models-they start at Stoeger Condor prices (but the comparison ends there).
i would be interested in a review of stoegers side by sides
Fausti, any version! I really like their offerings and I can't say enough good things about their service.
I want to see a review on the Rizzini BR110 with the adjustable rib.
Stoeger 3020 is something I want to see you review!
I bought a benelli ethos cordoban then a sbe3 and dumped both to buy the stoeger. Its not as pretty but its WAY more reliable. Way more.
Browning disappoints yet again…people have been asking for a 20ga auto (either the maxus or a5) and still nothing from them smh
Agreed!!!
Thank you for going by the Retay Masai Mara ShotShow display. I am glad you will test one as well as their economy model Gordian model.
Nice video! Like to see more of those CZ shotguns make the channel. Hammer classic is on my list to purchase!!
Hello, I am from Georgia. I really like your programs, I watch and listen to you with great interest. I have one request. When you get a chance, maybe you can review the Retay Masaimara and present it to us with its pros and cons.
Remington 1100
that new cz 712 gen 3 was the only one that i really want to see
Been drooling over multi barrel sets recently, but they’re much more expensive than my car 😂 one old geezer comes with a blaser to our local trap shoot
Just ordered the sx4 in the woodland camo 3"/28"
Been watching your video's and the sx4 is always in the line up. But the woodland camo is what sold me on it haha with so many good options i dont feel bad letting looks come into my decision
Hey Steve, I'd like to see you do a review. Of the Retay Mara and Gordian.
I would love to see you do a review on the ATA neo as a contender for the best budget shotgun.
would love to see the CZ Bobwhite G2 in 12ga or 20ga on the channel
I have the 28ga bob g2. Its a crusher.
I have both the 12g and 20g Bobwhite, love them both. lock up nice and tight and are great for the price point. Only wish is they made a version with ejectors. I'd be willing to pay a bit more for an ejector version. Not many double trigger SxS's in this price range. They do have an upgraded version called Project Upland IIRC. Upgraded finish and a few other things but no ejectors for double the price. Pretty though.
@@markbutler9442 yeah theyre pretty but pretty doesnt kill birds. Same gun with a few cosmetic differences for double the money. Id rather buy another gun vs get 1pretty one. Love my bob in 28ga
I'm looking at getting a Trap specific shotgun. A "shootout" with the expensive vs. the cheaper brands would be fun.
Would love to see a review of Fabarms waterfowler 12 guage
Steve, Not sure if I just missed it, but have you ever reviewed any S X S shotguns? That would be cool, with the two barrels under your eye.
For O/U: Caledon and BR110.
SxS: Any! I love SxS guns!
When you do reviews of semi-autos please mention and make note of the ease of loading and manual unloading. Semis are used a lot in upland shooting where one is always having to manually unload for various reasons.
You have the gold standard 940 in this area with which to compare.
About a yr ago I was collecting a few 20 ga guns for my grandkids beginning and training. For me it was an effort and almost impossible for the kids to load a Benelli M2.
Also I'm left handed and the kids are right, therefore I wanted to set the guns to neutral cast. The great Benelli did not offer a shim for neural cast.
Sometimes folks get a little too technical in the gun world when in fact it's the little things that affect enjoyment.
I will say that so far the favorite shotgun with the kids is the Mossberg SA20 with a Falcon Strike pad.
Yildiz, a Turkish brand, makes a model called the Yildiz pro. It will be great if you provide an indepth review.
The above comments is a scammer 😡 I have reported them to UA-cam many times.
Was REM ARMS there ? Would love to see the 870 Fieldmaster in .410
A review of Bioammo would be much appreciated.
A review of Bioammo would be much appreciated. Thanks.
ATA NEO X and ATA NEO shotguns you should really do a video on them! I don't see how that wouldn't be really good content for this channel underrated brand IMO I love mine
Would like to see a review of the FAIR prestige taratuga gold in 28 guage. Thanks
There aren’t a lot of reviews on the Retay Gordion or Masai Mara. I believe I speak for a lot of people, we want to see you review the Gordion and Masai Mara!
love to see a cz bobwhite 28 gauge for review to see what you think or the cz sharptail
Did you see the Tri Star cypher model? I ordered the cypher sp, haven't found any reviews.
Great video. I have been looking at the Tristar viper g2 for some time and would really like to see a review of the new g2 pro.
Be careful if you plan on shooting light target loads on the g2. Has two of them on 12 guage and they would not cycle.lot of headaches. Personally will never own another tristar in my life.
Would really love you to look at the CZ over unders like the woodcock or side by sides
23:40 Please see if you can review the Rizzini BR-110 Sporter X and or ISP!
Retay Gordion doesn’t have removable trigger group , but I like the forearm better.
30:20 Thats a lot of turkeys, hope you do "shoot and cook" video with em. Ha ha
Can you do a review on adjustable ribs
I'd like to see you review the Tristar semi autos and over unders.
I have a 20 gauge cz upland ultralight all terrain. Incredibly light gun and the green is just too cool. Would love seeing any reviews on any of their over unders
Also would still like to see some retay videos. I was really interested in a masai Mara until I got onto some forums that are putting me in reverse on the idea
That CZ Bobwhite is a great little gun. Try that 28 gauge.
I'd like to see your review the CZ woodcock in 20 gauge & the Beretta a300 in 20 gauge. Also a TriStar viper in 28 or 410
You said you wanted to do more over under reviews. I'd be interested to see some reviews on the FAIR line of guns
I’m so stuck on making a decision between the a400 and the SBE3
That CZ 28 gauge Bobwhite would be neat to see!
I was at shot as well this year…. I was surprised how much I liked the Mona Impala shotguns , Randy wakeman did a few reviews on them. Review it if you can, I think you will be impressed, Winchester has them make guns for them
You should try the black aces tactical lever action 12 gauge
I would love for you to do a review of the CZ Hammer Classic. I love the look of that gun.
own and absolutely love my CZ bobwhite G2 in twenty for Grouse
Love to see a review of the All American Trap single.
Definitely want to see more Tristar reviews. It does suck they don’t send out guns but I’d like to see reviews on the viper g2 models.
yea we need to see a stoeger 3020 reveiw!!! like a 15 like me moneys tight and am leaning towards that stoeger
Review the CZ Bobwhite G2 (preferably in 12 gauge) please, there really isn’t any reviews on UA-cam. Maybe do a comparison between it and the Khan Arms Bristol, they seem pretty similar.
It would be great to see you review the Boss shot shell
I’d love to see a review of the CZ Redhead. It’s really a shame that Tristar won’t provide review guns. I was recently in the market for a clay gun in the $700-1000 range. The only over unders I could find in my area were the Tristars in that price range. I really might have bought one if I saw a review from a source I trusted but ended up going with an A300 instead because there were none out there. They’re giving the impression that they lack faith in their own product.
Absolutely would love to see a review of the redhead premiere. Keep the awesome videos coming.
Look into Wimberley Arms in tx they have some great O/Us for a great price
Definitely the CzG3 12 gauge semiauto
Can you do a video on clay shooting with the new beretta a300 patrol and or the mossberg 940 tactical? I think it would make a great video to show that you can take you home defense shotgun to the clay range and also point out some drawbacks but also how well you can do with it too and still have a fun time.
Also which Carlson chokes would help have a fun time with one of those shot guns
I own an M3020. I’ve actually owned 2. I now also have the Franchi Affinity 20ga that I bought while working out of town. I actually prefer the Stoeger over the Franchi. I have big hands and do not like the reach to the trigger. Seems like they were designed with a pistol grip in mind.
Great video with lots of information but I had to replay the. ZZ Top clip several times to make sure I heard it right. Billy gibbons not Eddie
Please help, I’m looking for a semi auto host for a Salvo 12. Purpose will be duck hunting and clays. Thinking 21-24” BBL. Also want the longest lock up time to reduce port pop. I’m thinking inertia driven? Any recommendations?
How about reviewing the Bass Pro exclusive Rizzini BR110 Dakota and the Fausti BC100. Thanks!
I’d love to see a review on the fierce mayhem.
Would you please review the CS 712 G3.
I have the TriStar G2 20 guage won't shoot light loads even after running 3 boxes of heavy loads and i have the stoeger M3020 Great lil Gun
I have a Beretta 694 ACS b-fast on order since November and see price went from $5,299 to $6,099 for 2023. Concerned my purchase is outside my budget. Would be interested in a 3 way chase of Rizzini br110 aps…694 model I mention, best over under in your opinion I already own Franchi affinity 3.0 and have done excellent on sporting shoot
I would like to see head to head review affinity 3 elite vs 940 pro.
Can you do the retay? I want to see how realible that gun is.
I have enjoyed watching your videos. Love seeing your talent and hearing your opinion and knowledge. I lean on the hunting duck's side of things. More videos on the makeup of the different shots, options, and science. Thanks
I'd love to see a $10K+ shotgun review but I get that's probably hard to get your hands on.
Hello Steve,
I would like to see a Tristar vs ATA neo x comparison. Had a buddy pick up a Ata for waterfowl season this year and I was really impressed with it it basically reminded me of a benelli m2.
