Reaching with a maxed out crane, dealing with the public, detangeling vines while surrounded by powerlines and all the time stressing about your little one.... just another day in MB land 👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺. All the best to your little man, hope he is doing better 👍🇦🇺....
ive been in the navy for five years and will be away from my family for the next two, and since ive been watching your channel for the past couple days I cant tell you how good it feels to see you enjoy what youre doing and have such a heart for your family. the whole time ive been in I haven't had a single person I look up to or want to or be like, but it makes me feel a lot better seeing your videos and I cant wait to get back home. it really speaks volumes how well your crew works and the respect you have for one another. keep up the good work. stay safe too
Pick, pick, pick, pick, pick.....Sir, I'm an experienced certified arborist. May I please transplant your pomegranate bush so I can get my crane closer and get done sooner and safer??? No.....it'll die for sure..... Pick, pick, pick, pick, pick, pick, pick, pick, pick, pick.... :~((
You have my respect August. Dealing with home owners like that can almost make being an arborist not fun. ;~)
Really good stuff.
Keep yourselves safe!
Randy
Hahaha, happy Friday Randy and hello to the Mrs.
Love this style of video August, nice work. And congrats on 30K! - Patrick
Really appreciate the professionalism of you and your company. Great work, wish there was tree cutters like you in Ohio. Thanks for the video.
Ohio has some good ones! Thanks btw
Awesome vid august and crew. Thank you for going the extra mile on days like these to bring us for the ride. 👍 no other crew like you guys, damn good job Damien.
Really loved the entire video (incl the music)! Thanks for sharing August! Always a pleasure to watch what you concocted.
Love all you guys! Love this style video.
MBT at it again bravo cool video I hope your son is feeling better with you home thank you for sharing
Hope the little Fella's feeling better ! Lovely involved Video with great detail , Dealing with Customers will never get any easier , but all part of any Job . And great weather on the day for filming and washing the truck , God bless you A
A riveting video production, Sir August! I could not take my eyes off the screen! Your ethos absolutely resonates with me! I ran my own little residential window cleaning outfit for a couple of decades, and I loved my crew and I had the world's best customers. Then my life changed quite a bit and I find myself driving a semi across America. I miss looking after my crew and customers. Your videos help fill that void while I get closer to my next crew / customer adventure: looking into regenerative agriculture, building dirt. Ignore the dingbats, and keep being you, Sir!❤🍻👍
Great job guys as always, hope your boy gets well soon!!!
If it was easy everyone would do it, and if it wasn’t a challenge, we’d be bored silly.
You guys did incredible work in a tough situation.
Your videos are always excellent, and no one has a right to ask for more details if you don't want to give them to us. Your videos, your call. Although I think I'd charge that management company a fee for inconvenience because of the old man.
That was so cool! Your the best as well as your crew.Sorry to here the little ones not feeling good.
It really pulls at the heart strings.
I thought you washed vehicles on the week end though.Never stop creating!
Thank you
To stay centered under pressure is a hard but valuable lesson...Thank you for reminding us...chasing daylight while sharing your love for your little one with us makes the lesson the more pertinent- because staying centered is staying safe....thank you
Way to handle it August.! Your compassion for your family rocks.!!
You are the quintessential professional, in all aspects of your job, well beyond the scope of my comprehension. You are truly inspirational and make me want to be better at everything I do.
You continue to excel in your video production. Great job. It just couldn't get any better, and then it does. Keep em coming.
August I hope ur son is feeling better great job guys. U guys definitely cut it deep. Much love
I send clients and many others here to watch your videos with the hope that they will watch, listen and learn. Some people let their egos get in the way of intelligent choices ... you all handled this job with your usual grace. I may have already commented on this video but I'm doing a bit of binge-watching ... sending a young ground man (BF of a niece in Oregon) to watch how it's done.
GREAT JOB!! Everyone, including your son, was smiling at the end of the day, PERFECT!! Great work ethics, GREAT CREW, safe day, what more could a guy ask for?? lol.
Saw that crane in action on 6th this week, Looks great on vid, looks even better in person. When it's boomed out and you see "get up here" it just makes you smile. 😄
Totally enjoy watching ur videos 👍😊👍 hope Joey feels better.. It kills me when my kiddos get sick too.. That would be on my mind my whole shift at work.. Wishing i could be there to comfort the little one.. But ya'll did an amazing job considering the location
I love watching your vids august. Keep up the great work and great vids. Fellow Ohio climber here.
Thanks for letting us in on a "day in the life". Hope the boy is feeling better.
Good job August, Damien, Adam, and Joe! You all have a great connection and understanding of each other and the systems. Image how it would've gone if you'd allowed frustration to take over.
ole matson I put all the cameras away several times thinking I didn’t want to add another thing to the day and then I kept changing my pulling them back out.
😂😂😂 cool. Greetings to everybody in Oregon
I'm a recent subscriber to your UA-cam channel and wanted to compliment you on your video editing, content and composition. Very professional and entertaining to watch!
You guys made it through a stressful day 👍didn't have any doubt little fella looks like he's feeling better 💪👍
My sick 1 year old is calmed down watching this with me. He loves the music you pick and his eyes are glued to the tv.
Thanks
That was a awesome video some people just dont realize how much goes in too getting a job done .. I am always asking homeowners to use drive says yards and parking lots and more it's not easy sometimes
Great video August ! Hope your boy feels better quick.
3 Stabs with a shovel and that Pomegranate bush would be out and wouldn't even know it had been moved for a day.
I joined your channel a couple of days ago. Excellent videos. Thanks for sharing them.
Thanks for subscribing 👊🏼😎
Wish I worked for you man. Several years in. So much more to learn
Ur a good man August. And a great Dad.
Not the best start to the day for you and the crew August but as always handled like the the pros you guys are , ,,, hope youre son gets and feels better very soon ,,,, Great job guys
I love yalls videos brother
Great men face great challenges. Despite all that was going on in your life, personal and professional... You all were present and knocked out a huge job in a short time under ridiculous constraints. All the time finding reasons here and there to smile. Some times it seems to me that the tree work is the least complicated and aggravating part of the job! Thanks for bringing us in close, Be Well Monkey Beaver Crew and Family! Hope Joey is on the mend
Exactly! Tree work tho physical and challenging is the easy part of life!
Hope your little one is feeling better. Poor little chap. It really can sap the fun out of a job when one of the key elements is so awkward, won’t listen to reason or empathise with the challenges you have. V well done for staying calm and still being a pleasant leader of a rare team
There are folk who live to make the lives of others brighter and they shine like diamonds in society and there are folks whose only pleasure is being awkward. The two met today and you came came out shining. Maintaining one's composure in the face of obtuseness is the mark of an elevated soul. Karma will see you right. Regards from Scotland.
Hey August, I have been wat thing alot of your videos, just wanted to say thank you for e everything you do for the tree life. I live out in New Jersey, I also work tree work/climber/crane operator. Just wanted to bring up a suggestion. I have a similar crane with our company here in Jersey. It might be worth putting an outrigger on the front of the cab, that way in situations such as the video ,A DAY IN THE LIFE, u could of repositioned that crane right in and picked everything right off the front. Just a suggestion, it really has made a difference in our company. Keep up the great work. I have been climbing for years and been back in forth between two trades my whole life, but whenever I do tree work I feel right at home. So I understand how u feel. Thanks for everything u and your crew does. Work safe. Sincerely Drew "the Droid", Brown. ( sorry I know that u despise handles, but that's what everyone calls me.)
Almost impossible to tell, if this video was made by a professional documentary network - all the different camera views, angles and the edit. Awesome! Thanks
Plain awesome!
I agree he’s a professional at videoing and tree removal :)
Well done in getting across some of the visceral feeling of facing of unexpected difficulties/disappointments the Professional takes in stride as all in a day's work!
what a team!
FREE advertising! :) ......"...so I have to wait till noon to do these removals in between two houses on one of the busy arteries of town.."
hahaha... "hey, I'm an Arborist; I know how to do that" ... hilarious.
hope your little son is doing much better.
I love how the difficulty of a job can enlighten you. (Minus the people staring at you the entire time making sure you’re doing everything right as if they know what the h$ll is going on)
Get well young Hunicke
Ha, no doubt a day in the life... maybe my wife will watch this to see what my day entails (minus the crane) - constantly adapting to situations throughout the entire day. Thanks for taking the time to document this one!
Wife. . . There was more. I should have included it.
Amazing work, amazing equipment.
Wow, that's awesome! Y'all are just human beings with daily stress & struggles like us little guys. Just keep punching!👍
You gotta love dealing with the general public , it adds another element of uncertainty :-) Hopefully the little fellow will be better tomorrow , 24 hour bug perhaps . Congrats on 30 k August , a nice milestone to pass , all the best .
Love to watch real life, God bless you all!
Three years later, digging up that little pomegranate would have been safe and easy, and the kind thing to go. Please God don’t let me become one of those crabby old people (I’m 72).❤ I love your channel!
Great stuff, August, but more importatantly I hope your boy is all better. Pomegranite, Wow!
Awesome video! I understand on saving out folks trees and what not. But that little weeee of a tree could've been transplanted! O well tho it's all done. Just little stuff like that could make the job go faster as in bigger picks. It's all good!
great job....alot of respect for the way you do business...even when the odds continue to stack up you guys keep your integrity....this video is a perfect example....customers said this is what I want form you(demands were ridiculous) but you did it and you did it professionally.....subscribers said this is what we want from you( again ridiculous) but you did it and you freakin nailed it.....on a side note I am saving to buy a new saddle and I'm torn between MB and the ergovation(cause I'm old) and I think I'm sold on the MB if you put have as much integrity into this belt as you do everything thing else ...it must be great.....👍👍👍👊
Hey! Thanks, I was thinking about you, look up in the comments here somewhere for a guy talking about tree work in Ohio.
@@AugustHunicke awesome... I'm grining like a 40 year old kid right now..lol 👊
Buy the MB best harness out there I’ve had mine since the week they came out. You’ll be more then happy 😊 with it
@@ScreamingXMR-Mud-TV 👍
you guys handle all the homeowner stuff like pros even when it hoses you nice job stay safe
Great video Brother some people just like to try your nerves
Tip for the day....when u got little shrubs like that to protect.i use a grey garbage can .the Rubbermaid kind.flip it over on top of the shrub. Peace !
The truck would have still not been able to back over the little tree with a garbage can over the top of it. And as far as color.... the same size yellow cans wouldn't work either 😂
Dig it up!
Garrett Crocker lol I think he meant just as a precaution - it wouldn’t do much for August though
You got to love tuff neighbors, they keep you on your toes. I like to add a neighbor fee if it's looks like trouble, sometimes to much and I don't get job, it always hard to tell if or who will be a know it all
If feels like one of those, I just got back from 10 days off, I might need to sit in the cab and finish my entire coffee, someone help me put my saddle on I forgot how to do it, days. Great documentation, I think everybody feels your narrative.
Brother I feel you on the babies being sick. My kids are teen ages now. But as babies my daughter kept ear infections which I know my self are miserable. But getting few bugs is good for them to help build immunities for future catches. Love em while their babies cause as you know it goes fast. But gods plan doesn't always line up with ours lol. Thanks for video Sr..
Lesson of the day : Watch out for "whip" when feeding the beast ! Respect and admiration from Austria : )
Strange people suck !!! And Cranes are so Cool !! Thanks for taking the time to made Videos ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You could dug out that plant put in bucket with water. Park truck where suit you and after all put back in same space like nothing happened. You doing the best arborist job I ever saw
Peter Handlovsky agreed about the plant (thanks)
I know ZERO about crane operation but it looked like you were able to get reasonable sized picks based on the size of the landing zone even though not as large as you could have picked; and you were able to calmly work with people who were making things difficult for you. it's what i really admire about you. I found myself saying under my breath, please Heavenly Father, don't let me ever be like this customer when people are working for me. Let me help make their day a light and not a darkness.
dukeflem amen 😁
august nice video. its hard on the soul when family members get sick or hurt. my 11 year old grandson got hit in the temple with a baseball at practice 3 weeks ago he had to have brain surgery to stop the bleeding. i will pray for your son and your family have good day.
JC ... wow. Thank you, likewise.
Joey has surgery coming up as well.
I hope Joey feels better soon!!!
good show!!
Frustrating as heck but still better than attempting it without the crane for sure:) Super job guys!
stressful days arnt the best of fun [especially when a little one aint to well] but you got through it. hope the boys fine, they,re tougher than people think x
One of those tedious days to say the least ! The crane earned its crust for sure ! Get well soon mini beaver !
Awesome job having the equipment to get it done the better shouldn’t necessarily lower the price I get super stressed out and then sometimes a climber buddy of mine calls me from prison with seven years to go and tells me well it could be worse
Great editing! And You Were Made For This (to transplant that pomegranate)!
The job still got done faster and safer than without that BEAUTIFUL crane.
Also, the job could just as easily required that ridiculous distant setup by a permanent structure, so all's well that ends well. With the added practice/strengthening of the ole sphincters!!!
😁
My dinner almost came flying across my keyboard when I saw the Pomegranate tree you had to protect.
Sales Concepts for Service Industries! Have a great 2021!
I'm thinking the old man is on some kind of control trip. I have ran into clients that seem to know more about tree work than I do and then they see how much work actually went into the job. Good video.
Thanks for all of that guys. Hope all is well with all of you. Some days in the life suck, but we figure it out.
Always hard dealing with customers that tell you something is impossible. Good job keeping a level head!
God bless your son prayers for him
Cheers good video
Our lives are pretty interesting at certain times during work. Other times its like why the hell would anyone wanna see this.
Nice work. Effin crane. Bada$$.
.....
Thatll die for sure.
Hahahaha
....ah. Some people. We all have those. Way to keep your cool brother.
Ty for the vid. Keep it up. 👍
Nice job! Most times the public gives you more problems than the trees. Hope your son is feeling better.
Some people r so totally unreasonable and petty, impossible to please. Kudos to your patience and attitude.
These people are strange. I think that sums up most of the population of the planet 🌎. Fortunately for us we seem to be very normal and happy and able to deal with all the strange and semi catatonic folk . The decent friendly folk make up for the Goon squad most times . Another great video thanks
exceptional camera angles
This vid is great.. you should be a movie producer
Like the music. It fits..
Well that was a pain in the bottom job, but it WAS full of details, and tell Damean to watch all that smilin' stuff, God Bless Men :{)
opps, didn't realize I was on the wrong channel
Nice. Hope little one gets better soon. 😆
Would have been funny if you put in a few shots now and then of the pomegranate tree, baby tree check in....all still good! Lol
Can you make the hook on the block turn or is it free wheeling?
Lol. I was thinking the same thing from the start. Dig up that pomegranate tree and put it back later. A while later you mention it.
Too bad he came around. I would have done it and made sure he couldn’t tell.
I hope your little guy feels better soon.
Great video August, love the different ideas and different ways of approaching and handling a job. I implemented a few things in our business here in Minnesota. Question: what brand/type are those hardhats of yours?
Thanks, Pfanner Protos
Thx
Oh man... 😨 sometimes you need nerves like an elephant... All good for ur boy to recover 👍
My problem is I would have probably have dug it up and moved it and not even asked and when they came out and said something I would have said just making sure didn't get damaged it's in the air conditioning of my cab. But to answer the question yes totally can move it and put it right back like nothing ever happened to it.
My boss drove by this job and was so impressed!
Grind it out!!
Good job boys, stay safe ✌
