- Looking for a new Wah pedal? You might favor one of these excellent Morley pedals! Today, Zoo owner Tommy Colletti is putting each pedal through the paces in this shootout to find out which one he digs the most! Whether you want the classic funky wah tones of the Classic Wah to the super vocal sounds of the Bad Horsie 2 Steve Vah wah, there are a ton of different options available no matter what wah tone you're going for!

The classic sounded best to my ears.
Thanks, nice simple roundup which helped make a decision.
dig the loafers, man. been looking for a pair just like that.
That didn't help one bit, I just want all of them now . . . . . .fuck
for a "not-a-wah-guy" you play it better than half the wah demos on youtube haha
I’m now in that phase watching wah pedal video’s. It is really horrible 😂 Many barefoot examples as well 😆
Think the Bad Horsie sounded the best
Should out new ones! Tremontti
Into The Arena!
Amazing!!!!!
Great video, but I wish you could have shown off the Wah-lock a little more, like given us some of that Whoa! Although your wha playing is pretty whoa already for a noob!
Bravo Tommy!!!
Torn between the lead wah and JP95. Any insights?
A good demo would have played something low, something around the 7th free, and something above the 12th fret into a looper, and then gone from wah to wah with the SAME riffs.
If you don't use a wah, you don't know what their shortcomings can be.
You also never played clean.
You're a good player but this doesn't answer the questions a wah user might have.
Right on Tommy!!!
Killer!!!
I purchased a Morley Wah new in 1979, I've still got it, a bit like my old Watkins Tape Echo which I bought in 67. Thanks for the video.
Hi do these wah pedals fit a guitar with active pickups?
Active vs passive isn't as important as the voicing of the pickups. You'll probably have to tune your EQ to suit if you get a more mouthy extreme wah cause those boost the high mids a lot and can make the guitar sound a little piercing. Just get the wah you like, any if them will work if you do your job to dial in the tone
@@alphaclean3364 ok Thank you
Great info sorting differences out, thank you! And you sound awesome 👍
Maybe Morley's don't sound good without distortion. They sound pretty good here. They still don't have that mouthy sound in the middle range. This was good, thanks.
He didn't play the Whoa; it sounds almost just like a talk box, which is as mouthy as it gets. The whoa hits the mid range that the regular sweep doesn't pronounce as much. This is a great vid, but I wish he would have expo'd the many sounds out of the Wah-lock. Like he says, its the best. It's really hard to find because it's constantly selling out.
