Once the world was new.. our bodies felt the morning dew .. this song brings ya back to 1986 like it was yesterday. Where has the time gone and why am I tearing 😢 up ?! Amazing song.
Something about this song that’s personal to me. My parents raised me listening to music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I have VIVID memories of my mom cleaning the house during the summer time with the doors and windows open, and this song was playing. Her and my dad singing while they did housework... Something so simple, but it brings a tear to my eye nearly 25 years later from that moment. Music can really transport you back to anywhere. IT truly is a time machine.
There's something about this song that is personal to anyone who was alive when it came out. Especially if you were young and in love at that time. Like I was.
Eran canciones con sentimientos limpios. De un amor puro, de ese que ya muy poco se da. Yo era muy niña, pero me encantaban. Hoy son Joyas del recuerdo.
She was my first true love. We were just kids, but truly in love. We drifted apart when I left for college. I haven't seen or heard from her in years. I wonder where she is . I wonder if she thinks about me. I wonder if she still remembers. I hope she has a good life.
I met my one true love when we were both 53 in 2006, born only 17 days apart. I had just moved by happenstance some 2000 miles to where she had lived her entire life. It wasn't until after I arrived that we met and became inseparable... true soul mates. And somehow "Your Wildest Dreams" became the soundtrack of our relationship... we both loved the song. We were married on 11-11-11, a bit more than a year before she was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor early in 2013. I fought harder for her than I had for anything else, ever... but in the end, the cancer won and took her about two years later on her 62nd birthday. I still love that song... but I can't get past the first few notes of that distinctive intro without breaking down. I wonder if she thinks about us...
I remember there was a time when I was in elementary school and I was about to go into Middle School and I had gone to visit the Middle School that I was going to be at and when I got to the classroom that I was going to be in and I saw a boy named Johnnie who was a little bit older than me just sitting there and I introduced myself to him as Abby and we became friends and eventually became boyfriend and girlfriend and I never thought in my wildest dreams that we would find each other and so the dream continued until he got sick and unfortunately he passed away but I was so glad that someone came into my life and we spent some real quality time together and to this day 21 years after his tragic passing I still think about him everyday.
cool. me too. I first saw them 40 yrs ago when I was 14. I'm going to their concert in Wichita in October. this will be like the 5th time I've seen them.
I'm 75. Played in a duet at UGA '68 -'72. We were "Spring Rain". Pretty good. Got lots of gigs. Stayed pretty busy. Every time I would set up before a performance I would tune the room. I put Moody Blues through our system and walked the room. Made adjustments based on what I heard. The range of their music is incredible. Never let me down.
Love it ! But I wonder if a full blown studio update with a full spectrum of instraments and electronic enhancement might put this beautiful song over the top
Fabulous!
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is real music.
