I work night in the ED in Stockton and we regularly get assaulted by patients. There is a new law that was passed that now makes assaulting a nurse a felony and I hope that it helps prevent this from occurring because people come into the ED and think they can get away with it all the time.
Had a situation recently where I recovered a pt in PACU, and apparently TONS of hospital staff opened the pt’s chart who had no business going through their information. I didn’t get in trouble, but I was interviewed by a panel of people and it was kind of stressful😬
Some hospitals are strict when it comes to accessing patient information-totally understandable if you have no right being in the chart. But I’ve also seen nurses get fired for all sorts of reasons, and in many cases, it wasn’t even their fault. That’s definitely one of the scariest parts of the profession-nurses can lose their jobs so fast, and sometimes they have no control over it.
man i am glad i did military and have health insurance that cost $55 a month. Love it, but yeah even like NVIDIA and Microsoft wants to build Ai to take over those jobs
There's NO WAY YOU CAN MAKE MEDICATION ERRORS if you follow all the rules and principles, after all the five rights , it's absolutely NOT POSSIBLE to err...
I would NOT want I robot coming near me. That's creepy.
12:49 medications mistakes are my worst fear. It can happen so easily.

@@NursesToRiches all the more reason we should get paid more, and unfortunately, all the more reason to just keep to yourself when you’re at work
Everything about patient care, not only medication errors, is scary.

If they hire people to be doctors and nurses without doing medical training then robots would do a way better job :(
I’m scared of whipping ass
