- I recently decided to buy some Sharpie Markers, but not just any old sharpie markers. Sharpie BRUSH Markers! Even though I had a limited color palette, I wanted to use purely these Sharpie Brush Markers for this piece. In a way it's almost like the Sharpie Art Challenge. In the end I added some colored pencils just to really pull it all together! So I hope you enjoy! Comment below to tell me what you think!! Thanks guys!

I'm surprised you ended up buying the rendr sketchbook, honestly, it's so fun to make art in it, I feel like alcohol markers just pop off the page. It may feel like it sucks up a bit more ink, but really you only need to worry about that if you are doing larger areas. I've used my skin tone marker throughout the whole sketchbook, including larger portraits and it still hasn't run out!
Oh that's awesome to know. I had so many telling me about this sketchbook that I felt I should at least check it out. I cant wait to really break into it and record a video about it.
Wow, you did great with those colors! Bought the lime green sharpie brush pen when they came out and I thought the nib was good but it was the same 12 colors back then as they have now I think. I am curious to hear what you think of the rendr paper. I hated it at first because I couldn't get my markers to blend and there is a big shift in color wet to dry but now I really enjoy using it. I hope you use it on camera because I'd love to see what you can do with it!
Thank you!! I havent used the Rendr sketchbook thoroughly just yet, but I'm honestly a little nervous about the blending issue. On the bright side, I also enjoy the "cell shading" type look, but I'm nervous at the thought of how I'll pull that off. Pretty cool. Maybe I'll pick them up one day but right now I'm loving all the other brush markers I've been finding. I'm pretty surprised it took sharpie this long to jump on board the brush wagon.

Ooh yes! I love crescent sketchbooks! Alcohol based markers really don't bleed through them at all. Apparently it's bc there is a thin sheet of metal between each side of paper so the markers don't go through the other side-in case you didn't know! At least that's what the lady at the art store told me. ^^

I found some alcohol based markers called Milo art markers. I would love to see a reveiw and comparison video with them. I have yet to try them but they do have the brush nib. Also there about $15 more then the Ohuhu markers but seem to have good rating. Sorry for the long message. Love you and your videos!

The mechanical pencil she used in this video is so adorable, I know it’s just a normal mechanical pencil but I have it too, they are very good! They come with long led, so just buy seperate refills.

Halalela Art u are so underrated!
RENDR is amazing. I bought one when i had a gift card to Blick and the only ONLY time it bled through was close to the edge when i did over saturated the paper. They are pricey but worth it for those who do a lot of marker art....and with it being toned lets you push highlights more which is either a good hing or a bad thing.
I'm so excited to use it more! I bought it because I had a few of my subscribers recommending it to me (I think you mentioned it to me before too) and so far I'm impressed about the no bleed through. I loved that. Can't wait to really use it with all my markers!!

It reminds me of pop art,very pop-ish.
I used to do my line art with the real time sharpies too until I discovered uniball pens but now I go with a very well known brand micron pens.I

@@lela.the.artistlol they definitely do have a strong smell. I do have a shapie pen that I use for line art and it doesn't actually have a smell unlike the ultra fine shapies.
