All Dogs Go to Heaven terrified me, yet I couldn't stop watching it repeatedly. So much to unpack there. Also, this very strange forgotten movie called The Brave Little Toaster, just as strange as it sounds (and I remember there's like 2 sequels)- and the couple of scenes that scarred me for life.

Oh my gosh I have the brave little toaster! I always wanted to watch it growing up but didn't stumble upon it until I was 19, when I found a DVD of it for like 5 bucks. I think I got it at a thrift store or dollar store.
I loved watching it but was shocked by how dark some of the scenes were. I was actually traumatized a bit by the scene of the cars singing about their life stories before being brutally crushed. I kind of want to watch it again now.
I also (as a Capricorn 😔) am always using the dropbox, even when Nook's is open, because I don't want to take the few seconds to go in 😂

Counter Argument: go watch The Last Unicorn. The animation studio who did it (Topcraft) would later go on to animate "Nasuicaä of the Valley of the Wind," and most of its employees would become core animators for Studio Ghibli.
The story in itself is a classic fairy-tale. You can take it at face value, you can dissect all the symbolism, you can read the book and compare it to the movie, whatever suits your fancy. But like all modern fairy tales, it's emotional. It's not about the plot as much as it's about how you feel watching it. (Kind of like Disney's Snow White.)
I personally don't think The Last Unicorn is that scary, but then again I watched the animated horror that is "Watership Down" as a child. So my opinion on what is and isn't scary can be taken with a grain of salt.

I have ADHD too and I'm also autistic and on the drop box thing? It is so much easier. I'm already overwhelmed half the time on my island from my lack of focus and a bit of the lag and it's just easier. Going in, waiting for the loading screen, getting distracted buying stuff, forgetting what I was doing, leaving before I sell cause I got distracted, dropping stuff I bought off in my home, going through the dialogue, misclicking and cancelling it, misclicking and forgetting to sell, not seeing the price until after they calculate it as a total. It is so much easier to just use the drop box. You can still get a fair bit of money. I paid off most of my loans diving for sea creatures and selling them in my drop box. Most I ever made was over 300,000 bells. To me, it's just a lot easier and simpler and doesn't cause me any meltdowns or stress from having to go through all of that. Plus when I wait for it to load, I'll set my switch down sometimes and forget about it then come back after they've closed and so it was entirely pointless haha. To each their own, if you wanna sell it inside all the power to ya, but some people either just don't care or find it easier to use the drop box. Whatever you use/prefer, it's valid :) people seem to forget that even if they don't mean to come off rude.
But either way, a really fun video and I honestly just love listening to your rambles especially as someone with ADHD too, I can actually focus on your long videos without getting bored/distracted. And I love you reactions to the villagers, it's always so funny /gen /lh
Edit: Omg, pango no. I found her 4 times on a single villager hunt and then when I play Happy Home Paradise, after I help my first client, she is one of the three villagers there. I made her a nice salon and spa and she loved it. I love her, but omg, I see her far too much /lh

I named my island after Amalthea of the Last Unicorn because I love that story! I read the book before seeing the film and I will say there’s a lot more explanation in the book than the film. But that film haunted me when Amalthea turned human and yelled at the wizard “I wish you had let the bull take me! I wish you had left me to the harpy! I can feel this body dying all around me!”… that’s a bit much for a kids film y’know? But I love that book/film so much!

The other day I went villager hunting for Pom Pom bc I restarted my island and she's been my number 1 bestie since March 2020... HOWEVER shino appeared on the fourth island I went to.. Everything after that is a blur (she enticed me) but now she lives on my island and pompom is still waiting to be found 😭

hey can i just say how thankful i am for your tying yourself to the baseball field story? cause immediately when i heard the topic about this i was like Wait Bitch Me Too, i mean kind of different. sometime in elementary school i was bored waiting for my mom to pick me up and playing with my backpack strings, a backpack i loved because it was my little pony, and i thought haha let’s tie it to the school gate! why did i think that? i don’t know and could never justify it but my god did i feel justified hearing your story and similar thought process. and then the people i carpool with were like ok time to go (cause we had to walk a bit to find my mom cause the car pickup line was stupid), and i was like oh ok hold on! and tried untying myself but i COULDNT!!! and i was like panicking and shit and one of my carpool buddies (but was she even my buddy? she was my neighbor and after this she was Dead to Me) was like “bye” and led the others to walk away and im like waIT WAIT and tugging on my backpack as if that would help
a campus supervisor tried helping me and had scissors but i refused to let her cut it because of how important the backpack was i guess? eventually my mom showed up? i literally don’t remember the rest i can only assume they eventually got it off. but luckily i guess i was at least able to take off my backpack unlike jacket strings rip
but i absolutely felt that and honestly was weirdly reassuring to hear about it. the backpack shit is smth that my brain reminds me of at night when i just think of really embarrassing shit fjjvjsmcjcj and hearing a similar story makes it feel like a weight was lifted. i cannot explain

I started ACNH only a few weeks ago for the first time. I loved Shino and really wanted her but knew it would be difficult. I had 7 tickets to get my first 3 villagers to move in after I built the houses (already had the OG two of course too). On my 3rd ticket I got Molly. She's ADORABLE so I was happy. On my 6th ticket and with the final home to move someone into, I found Shino. I kid you not I almost fell out of my seat from shock. Still one of my fav villagers (alongside Melba)

My dad also forced me to play soccer. I played from 5 to 15. The only reason I was able to get out of it is because I skipped the tryouts for the high school team and joined the cross country team instead. I’ve always loved running. And running without having to worry about a stupid soccer ball was amazing. Soccer was fun until middle school when suddenly the girls were out for blood. I broke my nose twice and got concussed once when a girl who was a literal giant tackled me so hard I fell and hit my head on the ground. The only thing I really miss about it are some of my team members and the pizza parties.
