I used to do security at gigs in London back in the early 80's. When AC/DC played at the Hammersmith Odeon the outer doors of the building going out onto the street would 'pulse' about 3-4 inches in time with the music from the amount of air being moved by the huge banks of speakers! It was so funny when, at the end of the gig, some of the crowd who were near the stage came out looking like they'd been in a fight with Mike Tyson.

AC/DC are from Australia. It was founded by Malcolm and Angus Young in 1973. They got their name from their sister who sewed on an ac/dc sewing machine. She also sewed Angus’ school boy uniform that he wears and continued doing so throughout their careers. Angus is brilliant on the lead guitar and NEVER stops moving during a concert. Malcolm played rhythm guitar and back up vocals. The lead singer, Brian Johnson, joined the band in 1980 after the original lead singer, Bon Scott, passed away. This just gives you a small glimpse of who the band is. Sorry, I don’t know much about the bass guitarist or the drummer. But the band’s music still makes you want to get up and dance!

Been to thirteen of their concerts- starting in1979 in Oakland!!!! Angus Young on lead guitar, his brother Malcolm on rhythm guitar, Brian Johnson lead vocals and Phil Rudd drums. Their best selling album of all time was 1981's "Back In Black". It was an homage to Bon Scott, their original lead singer who died.
The band got the name AC/DC from Angus and Malcolm's sister. They were helping her plug in her sewing machine when they were younger and saw the AC/DC switch on the back of the sewing machine.
My favorite part of any reaction is when they fade out completely before the 2nd "You've been..." to silence at 5:04. By this point, everyone is on board. They're all drinking the Kool Aid.
