If you've never given _Slice & Dice_ a whirl, you might give it a try on mobile or the recent Steam release (which added a ton of content). Technically it's a dice builder, but in a practical sense, it's the same loop, with deceptively deep gameplay.
There's a series of deck builders based on physical card games, which use a shared pool of cards in a marketplace that you take turns to purchase from and try and construct on the fly. Star Realms, Shards of Infinity and Dominion all have variations on this formula, but only Star Realms packages a single player campaign to help teach its rules.
Inscryption is amazing not because of the deck building alone. It does deck building alongside great characters, changing elements, a story that goes in places you don’t expect. The fact that you can get up from the table in the middle of a run to interact with the cabin is genius. One of my favorites in the genre.
On the "dice building" area of the genre I find Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles really fun, interesting and absolutely stunning and there's a demo to test it out!:)
Completely ageee on all of these, and like you, also want to give a special shoutout to Signs of the Sojourner. A slightly different take on the formula, and a beautiful story about connecting people, with loads of different end states. Would recommend to anyone enjoying deckbuilders with a lighthearted story.

I shall throw it into the deckbuilder list, thanks for the recco!
