The Lost Rulers of Highblock Castle | Minecraft Dungeons
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 лют 2025
- The structure known as "Highblock Castle" encompasses the last three levels of Minecraft Dungeons. But this isn't just any kind of Illager fortress, and those redstone golems and monstrosities aren't without their quirks.
This place harbors ancient and forgotten secrets to be revealed. A history to be made clearer than ever before.

Funniest thing ever.
Might make an outtakes compilation for all your slip ups. Lmfao

I wonder why enderman leaved the Orb behind
@@yusufözil-d1u they where banished to the end, with thier only way out sealed up far beneath the ground never to be found again. but then we came, we found the eyes of ender, we found the portal and reawakened evil of old
This would fit the Solemn Giant being an ancient boss set in the Obisidian Pinnacle and having enderman as "minions", it would be an ancient reflected from that period and reveals that enderman were indeed in the halls and facilities of Highblock Castle.
The high block halls theme is undisputedly a banger
This just got me thinking. If the Illagers served/lived alongside ender beings somewhere between the Minecraft Legends and vanilla timeline, then amongst other implications, they were more than likely the ones who taught them magic. It actually makes perfect sense, since most spells casted by the Illagers are connected to the end in multiple ways: Evokers emit the end's purple aura while summoning vexes, who are in turn connected to the guardian vexes in many ways; illusioners emit the same aura while teleporting in and out, which also just happens to be an ender skill; Mages and Iceologers use telekinesis/levitation, which is part of the end's technology; Enchanters and enchanting in general emits the same aura, Endersents themselves are enchanted thanks to the eyes, the Arch-Illager is able to enchant and even "power up" other Illagers and himself thanks to the orb etc. So they all are using the end as their source of power here, and their ability to do so is apparently something they are born with according to the novel, something that Archie curiously wasn't? And yet, despite all these unique abilities, they are unable to craft potions, a much more basic and overworld related type of magic, one that witches, villagers and even heroes seem to have learned by themselves.
I wonder what else did they take from ender beings..
As someone who loves replaying Dungeons and similar adventures for the sake of inspiring myself to, one day, "make my own fairy tale?"
I always loved these videos that looked into the details that were put into making the world of a playable fantasy!
However, I think one important detail we should bring up is that *_the Highblock Keep was basically a "primary base of operations" for Archie and co. during his Domineering, per se._*
Practically speaking, it'd no sense for it to NOT have architecture or decorations that cater to the Illagers - but there's no mistaking that these look more like "edits" than actual designs made by Illagers. They're notorious for being lousy workers, sadly...
That's why they encage Allays, after all, for those who remember that they can build and gather resources in Minecraft Legends... >_
incredible video!! I love how in-depth you both go into the dungeons lore, and I especially like the way you use your avatar to help present the information, like a minecraft ted talk lol, looking forward to seeing whatever you make next!
finally someone using the descriptions for theories
GREAT VIDEO WITHERKING!!💙
HELL YEAH NEW UPLOAD
Banger video oomfie!!
Thanks Starry :3
Very good findings and theorys! I have been collecting a lot of lore stuff that i found myself, and saw other people talking about. I think, I'm doing this for 6-8 years already😅. Maybe in the future i will make channel and video for all the stuff i found.
But again thanks for your hard work and for great video. Good luck in future projects!
It could have been the ancient peoples since they built almost everything in the Minecraft universe like the ancient city, ocean monument and etc but ur theory kinda make sense
I also think that it could be ancient builders. But we know for a fact that ocean monuments were built by villagers, because it is filled with guardians golems and in dungeons, there are unique villegers statues all over the place.
@@lois3469 we should not give all the credits to the ancient builders actually.
@@grimx1809 yes, but in this situation it would make sense if it were builders, because we know that illegers never had one big Leader. But we also know about tower guardians, that are illegers, and they serve tower keeper, that is a significant point that it could be illegers
rly great video
another similarity between redsone golems & endersent i noticed is them both having actual hands
I love this guy
Hey Witherking just so you know, if you have the Guide to Minecraft dungeons and read about " Weapons " it would say there used to be an evil emperor for Highblock Keep called " The Jailor "
The Jailor is actually just referred to as a "cruel villain." Never referred to as an "emperor."
@WitherKing001 oops sorry I misread the book your right it said " villan " sorry
the problem with the theory is that there is an officil pre quel book about the story and it says that the arch illager used the redstone golems to build highblock castle
the prequel book says that the arch-illager less built it from the ground up but rather revealed what was already there, hinting the keep was not truly built by him
GOATED VID
You’re back!!!! Oh glorious day!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I'm pretty sure that the narrator is actually an in game character, maybe alex because it says she has a british accent in one of the minecraaft books labeled "The Mountain"
I wonder what caused that Enderman, or whoever was with the orb, to abandon it
That's something to explore in the future... 👀
Interesting theory
I just used the Redstone golems were created by the players during/soon after legends to keep the orb guarded
Now how about the connection between the 4 beings of the shards compared to the Heart of Ender?
When it was said that the doors are too tall for any human, my mind jumped to the idea that perhaps the dragons made it before they, and the builders wiped themselves out
I’ve often hypotheses that the pillars in jean’s bossfight were the remains of an end castle
and that modern end creatures now deal with a virus that basicaly zombifies them (pretty much endermites in the head)
Leading the Jean destroying her own home as she decends into madness alongside the rest of the people of the end
I do believe the heart of the end my be what possessed Jean
The question remains though, if the endermen still exist, where are the rest of the dragons, because if the endermen still exist, why not the much larger, smarter, and stronger dragons
The ancient builders.
What if the HoE wasn't just a sole leader back then?
Also, I've seen theories about players as the precious leader of highblock before, but yeah this idea about Endermen is compelling. I personally don't see yet why endermen *ruled* it necessarily. Why couldn't they just have lived there, to serve either a player or villager?
Why do all the bad guys always get the good stuff, seriously these guys have a whole castle, extreme magical knowledge, and an army outfitted with high-quality gear. We (the players) have nothing but the clothes on our backs, living in a small house and gear we pretty much had to steal to fight our way through foreign borders to usurp a king. We don't even get to keep the castle, nor the necromancer staff (the narrator said we destroyed it) so we can't get our own army. All this trouble to help villagers who were too racist to offer refuge to singular banished illager.🤣🤣😉Sorry for the long rant
I had no idea you had a yt
I only have the doubt, if the Redstone monstrosity was made by the Eye of Ender, why would it have the same symbol on its shoulders as the First of Stone?
I also think that regarding the symbol of the cross, the villages of Mc Legends also had it.
Outside of that, if the video was only about dungeons I would cancel the comment
The cross with the gap is also used in Squid Coast and Pumpkin Pastures, so it's probably a dymbol used by Villagers and Illagers both, quite commonly at that
@Dragonseer666 That specific banner with the cross you're talking about is actually from the Illagers. We can see them carrying in the opening cinematic as they approach the Squid Coast. They very likely put these banners here to mark them as a place they've conquered since they have or are invading them by the time we get to those places respectively.
@@WitherKing001 I feel like the red ones are the villager ones, but the grey banners are illager ones. Could be wrong though.
@@WitherKing001 Yes, but in legends the villagers used it, maybe when they separated they simply adopted it or something
Although what about the shoulder symbol? It's what makes me most curious
That is epic ! I love some good minecraft theories. I would also love to be able to help you with anything to make your future videos, script writing, researches... I am en editor of the wiki and a huge minecraft nerd. XD So if you are interested now or in a million ticks, don't hesitate to help me know :)
