If the Eyes and Heart are parts of the ‘Ender’, could the End Crystals be as well? They have a similar cuboid appearance to the Orb, and float and rotate above their base - and they even have healing powers.

It seems that the native mobs of the end become sparks, while those that are not so native fall like any other mob in the dungeons.

This also poses an interesting thought. As there are certain connotations in regards to known parts of The Ender. Hearts are often symbolic of passion, which in of itself can be depicted as violent. With its Overworld home of Highblock Castle and its Overworld name of the Orb of Dominance, it is not out of the question that the Heart of Ender had a passion (or heart) for conquest (or domination). Because of this, the Heart would need a place fitting for it's role, a fortress with high strategic value and armed to the teeth for war. Eyes are associated with observation or spying. What is spying if not the gathering of information? The Strongholds are the first major connection between the Overworld and the End, which would make them the hubs of reconnaissance. And with all of the gathered information, they would need an archive or a library in which all of this knowledge could be stored for ease of access. The gateway and knowledge need to be protected, so what better place than one of high defense: a Stronghold. Even as separate entities, the Ender works towards one goal: total domination of all dimensions. Its Heart bent on war and control, its Eyes surveying the lands gathering vital information for war. All that we're really missing is a Mind that orchestrates everything from behind the scenes. EDIT: After just playing the Highblock levels again, I am aware that there are libraries in the keep. This doesn't really change anything, just covering my bases. The Stronghold library is significantly larger than anything anywhere else. Also, Strongholds are known for their libraries, which is a testament to their significance. Finally, based on my speculations, even the Heart needs the knowledge gathered by the Eyes to ensure victory.
