I saw where he was attacked on a prerelease island from a dominant male who caught him messing with a female. Im wondering is he ok and is he back on a prerelease island? Poor Beni. Loved by so many, severly injured by one of his own kind.
He was returned after his wounds healed, but he is now on a separate island with a less aggressive dominant male. Petruk is not aggressive tho, Beni just needs to learn about the pecking order in the wild also Petruk saw him as competition as the dominant male.
Orangutan babies learn from their mothers everything about survival in the rainforest. These are all orphans. They did not have that chance. These care givers teach them how to live in the wild again and become an orangutan again.
On pre-release island, these are old videos maybe from 5 to 6 years ago, most of them are on the pre-release islands, some are already returned to the protected wild forests like Meryl and Shrayini
with my respect to this people ,but i hate the way they turn this animals who lived free in the forest into organised creatures in system by daily routine, because how long wil you remain with them like this? they born to be free !
This isn't cute. It's neglect. Primates are very prone to heart disease and the added weight on their joints leads to a host of other very serious issues.
I love this series on "Love Nature". And the thumbnail of baby Beni in the video listing is SO cute; he's giving side eye and looks adorable!
I can't get enough of this Orang Utan jungle school. I have been following them for quite some time now. Amazing program ❤
Wonderful job. Poor orphans , at least they are learning skills before getting released .
It made me cry😢😢😢 so painful but it's only right. They are born to be free. ❤❤

From follow ups it appears Beni was living his best life on another island. Females & food are filing his days lol.
@@blackgarlic126 Thank you for the heads up.
@@marcheeb9755 Thats awesome news!!
That probably surprised him greatly as he's really not been exposed to much violence.
GRACIAS A TODAS LAS PERSONAS QUE AYUDAN A NUESTROS HERMANOS ORANGUTANES!

funny monkey😂
Why would they allow them to get pregnant in captivity?
I guess they want to try to let them teach that next generation how to be an orangutan (imo)😚
The contraceptive failed. It happened to humans, too.
There are so many videos titled, “Benny goes on a diet”. Must be recycling the same videos.

They’re teaching them the skills they would have learned from their mothers so they can be free. 😊
They are teaching the important skills to survive in the wild
Ummm have you ever watched the series? They release them when they are ready to a protected island where they live completely free.
Are you the expert of how to realest Orang Utan in the wild ?
Do you really think they're doing this without a plan in place????????????
This isn't cute. It's neglect. Primates are very prone to heart disease and the added weight on their joints leads to a host of other very serious issues.
That's why he was put on a diet!
Whichever "babysitter" who let him get this big needs fired.
Be gone troll.
You really should go watch all the videos
Stop the fake sounds
They're the real thing! What makes you think they're fake sounds?
Keep complaining. It's really helpful.
I wana work there!
