Fair warning- legally you are over weight in payload on your Frontier even with airbags and suspension additions. Strongly suggest getting at a minimum a 1500 with no less than 1,800 in payload to save your butt just in case something bad where to happen.
You're overloading the Frontier. It's not rated for that much weight. You need a bigger truck. The camper weighs 1400 lbs dry. That maxes out the Frontier. You still have to add the weight of the passengers (people & dogs), food, water, etc. You're going to bend the truck's frame or snap a leaf spring. Airbags aren't going to prevent that from happening.
I plan to get something like this. Then just upgrade truck to a 1500 or 2500 Lol Will have plenty of power for those hills if you ever decide to go cross country and into higher elevations. I like the size of camper but, for cross country, I want a bigger truck. I would love a model just like this but no overcab. Just have dinette turn into a queen bed.

It handles really well. You do notice a difference, but it's pretty minimal. We did notice that if it's windy, the wind really gets up under the cab over. It was a little scary at first. We also put airbags and think that was worth the money.

@@chancebennett3456 Hello! Yes, we did add airbags. The camper comes in around 1338 lbs and our payload is 1460.
Do you have the year make model or VIN number I'm trying to find one with that weight limit all I get is 1500 lb now on all units
