These campers look fantastic! I personally prefer these over trailers, or even todays adventure vans because you can always drop the camper and have a working truck. Also, you can replace the truck and keep the camper. You also have the option of a capable 4WD bug out or boondocking pleasure rig. I get that you have kids and need space. My kids are grown, but when we camped with the kids, we would setup a really nice tent too, and they preferred to sleep in that.
I would love it if truck campers design roofs specifically for a rooftop tent. Kids LOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVE rooftop tents. Plus it keeps they away from furry creatures at night.

I would like a truck camper with nothing in it so I could build my own like a cargo trailer conversion
Look at a company called total composites. They specialize in campers made out of lightweight composite walls made to order any shape or size you want. You can literally order an empty shell with no windows, no bed, no benches, no shelving, nothing. Then build it out yourself. They are also super insulated.
I like this style of camper but the wife not so much. What do you do happy wife happy life.
My wife doesn't like truck campers....buy I love them.
Thanks for doing that brother I'm looking at the 770rsl I think they have will fit an 8-foot bed nicely or the Palomino H s750 I think the palominos about 25,000 and tlrv is about twenty but super small holding tanks in the tlrv Palomino has little bit more
I am camper shopping and have look at all truck camper options and Travel Lite seems to be the worst. I encourage anyone looking at the options, pricing and fit of these to read all reviews and make an informed decision.
