Did you forget the cost of day care?
I started loving my job only when we went remote & got very engaged in it. Now that they call us back to office, I start hating it & feel strong resistance, even repulsion, to any engagement.
Same here, we were all productive as never before from remote. Few people always came to office thats their joice. Since Management forced everybody back to office mood and productivity went sharply down.
Its all great until they realize they can just outsource your job to a cheaper country. Its already happening for some.
@@Zero11_ss you think they're slow to realize it? They would've done it, but it's illegal for my job.
@@Zero11_ss you special ed types who think they're going to outsource jobs to people out side the country are so delusional. They're not going to send valuable insider information to workers in other countries where they're going to take American company secrets and steal insider knowledge. Most companies are scared of corporate espionage and won't outsource high value jobs. Maybe the call center jobs but that's about it lets not even start talking about how much red tape they have to cross with sending jobs outside the USA and the amount they have to pay in penalties & fees for doing so.
Yeah, goes to show you know nothing about the cost of outsourcing jobs and the risks associated with that.
You sound like you will be fired
The stores will relocate and the empty buildings to create more housing.
I dont understand why companies want people in the office, what exactly is their incentive?
Where is the financial benefit?
Sarcasm right? Goodbye commercial real estate...goodbye significant amount of GDP/industry
Commercial real estate goes cool, how is that any worse financially for the companies renting them?
Only real estate owners care
@Moses34099 productivity has gone up significantly since the 80s due to technology. Just because we aren't breaking our backs 24 hours a day doesn't mean we aren't getting stuff done. Instead of manually doing a task for hours a computer can help us get it done in 20 minutes. In simple terms we could spend time figuring out a math problem or in less than a minute put it in a calculator
They have to justify that expensive lease and building they own.
@Moses there’s been multiple studies showing productivity up with remote work. I’ve shot over my quota by double digits since going remote
yea good luck with those office buildings
that's why some companies are trying to force ppl in, because many of the board members like Blackrock etc are heavily exposed to real estate.
let people work from home
Engagement? Maybe incentivize people a bit more? Just a thought to all you big smart alpha CEOs out there....
100% agree
When it comes to gov hand-outs, corporates want incentives. When it comes to their “Main assets, people,” ( 🤮 ), the talk about engagement and dedication and professionalism etc. WS is cancer.
Office real estate: be supportive of local community 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🖕the local community. Convert the offices to housing or don't, I dont really care. Not like I'm going to be showing up to that place anyways
You could just call me
