@Jack Orion A diminished 9th is an incredibly dissonant interval, similar to the tritone or semitone. As for exact appearance, during a segment of the introduction (0:47 - 0:53), the chords are a5(dim) - d5, and that interval from e♭ to d an octave below is a diminished 9th. Imagine the interval as an octave interval, except the note an octave above is rose a half step. Thanks for your question!
@@visortheinvisioner196 im sorry but the music nerd inside me cant let this go. what youre describing is a 'minor 9th'. making an interval diminished only reduces it by a half step with 4ths and 5ths, with other intervals it reduces it by two half steps. a minor interval reduces those by a half step. but yeah i agree i love the way he uses all these dissonances

your left hand octaves are geninly one of the most impressive runs ever
Here we go again.
Liszt and his crazy arrangements.
Yout performance is beyond astounding.
Hi Kassia! I hope you've been well, I'm actually glad you played this piece because this is one of my favorites to listen to! Waiting for your next video release, thank you for this beautiful work! :)
Simply incredible what a great pianist can do on his instrument, apparently without effort. Bravissima!
