I know it's never mentioned, but I can't help but feel especially sorry for Aurora's biological mother. Her warmongering father marries off to a sociopath. Her husbands whole story made no sense and was poorly written. She never got to see her daughter grow up, was more or less just tossed to the curb in that palace (assuming she was even allowed there) and then dies alone with barley being mentioned or the faintest of interest by Aurora herself. That's just beyond tragic.
@@SirKolass I know he's barely a presence in the movie, but he goes from being her friend since childhood and then on a dime turns into a complete lunatic. It's just weird. There is no real motivation written for it, no betrayal, death of a loved one. Nothing but an empty "oh and I'm turning evil now for shinny crap". Poorly written.
@@wanderer3004 You underestimate greed, things like this happen in real life. He's been like since he was a kid, you can see how he was stealing that diamond thingy, but he had no reason to betray her before. He left her because of greed, he saw the opportunity for a better life in the castle and went for it. Finding out he could be king was too much for his greedy butt, so he went to kill her, but he couldn't kill her because the time he spent with her wasn't meaningless, he still had feelings for her. Since killing her was too much, he went for the second option, for the same reason he left her before, he took her wings, it did hurt him, but being a king was too much of a reward to let go, a unique chance. He turned king, married and about a year later maleficent showed up cursing his child and making his whole life a mess, that's when he turned insane and revenge thirsty. It wasn't as simple as you claim it to be.
@@wanderer3004 well. It's not really poorly written in that sense. Not everything is clear cut abuse. It's not a single line that leads from tragic incident to villain story, something its purely biological or in other words factors that arent visually observed. Plus there was a 16 year time skip. Idk what yall on
Michelle Pfeiffer being pure evil in "Stardust" is a good one in sort of the same mood as this. She's so good at it that you hate her 👍 You would like it. (Quite a departure from one of her first movies in fantasy: "Ladyhawke" from 1985. You'd like it too. Under-rated) It's like Joaqin Phoenix. I love everything I've seen him in, then he played Commodus in "Gladiator"😡 You have to hate him so much.
Angelina Jolie 👌 The first movies with her that come to my mind are: Tomb Raider, Wanted, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Gone in 60 Seconds. "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" you would like very much because it's very good and funny and also has Brad Pitt in it. 👀 And this reaction was very cute and funny, you also made your dogs look weird at some moments.
An enchanting drama that provokes a great reaction. Our gorgeous Homies duo on top form - Ellie’s passionate response, Mish’s sympathetic analysis; a super mix !
good reaction as always! Where is the continuation of your episodes reactions of aot on your patreon? How long should we wait for the OVAs and season 2?
Great reaction guys, I am assuming by the reaction that you guys haven't seen the first Maleficent movie starring angelina jolie, cause this is a sequel to that movie, I could be mistaken and you've already seen it, If not, please look it up and check it out, it's a really great movie as well. It shows how she became Maleficent the mistress of evil. If you haven't seen it, don't worry, it won't be terrible to back track because of how great that movie was.
Hey Michelle, since you love dragons I recommend that you guys react to this movie called "Eragon" and it is mainly about dragons and it's on Disney+ as well.

I agree. Stefan screwed over two women and brought his own demise upon himself.
What you mean poorly written? What freaking else you wanted?

In the reaction for the first movie, she called herself "Michelleficent".
And that's a cosplay she could pull off...
I feel someone should have briefed Maleficent on dinner party manners but then I don’t think she’d take the advice
I absolutely love Ellie’s reactions. 😂😂😂😂😂

Sexist double standards suck and divides us. Can we stop the gender war, please?🤦♀️
