I was just happy to see aurora married to prince Philip in the end. Also, we get the different actor as prince Philip, because the other actor was doing Robin becoming Nightwing from max titans.
I did love this sequel, continuing with its love story of Aurora and Felipe, like in the book. The part that broke my heart the most was when Queen Ingrit shot Maleficent and Aurora's heartbreaking cry. 29:57 but I really laughed when Maleficent mentioned coming back to visit at the baptism aww
For a Maleficent sequel, I found this one to be pretty good. Great performances from the actors, a hateful antagonist, and Maleficent going Phoenix mode was very cool. I’ll probably have to do a rewatch myself at some point.
This movie's title is misleading; as Maleficent wasn't the Mistress of Evil, the Queen was. Michelle Pfeiffer's character embodies the whole evil queen role perfectly; whereas, Jolie embodies the whole Wrath of revengeance. And where she may look evil, she is obit protecting what's important to her. Good movie overall. I like the first one better, but this was still well done by all
As i did like this movie, I never understood why it was called Maleficent Mistress Of All Evil to be honest the title didn't quiet make sense to me. I assumed it was because she was evil hence Mistress Of All Evil, but they didn't explain that I would prefer if she was Evil a little, that would of made more sense to the title and what they were trying to convey in the movie but never did.
What I love about Maleficent is that it’s not necessarily a remake but a retelling of the story from her perspective; even though in the end we find out Aurora is the one narrating. It has so much more depth to it and in this second one we really see Maleficent grow into the protective mother role. Her sacrifice was her way of accepting love into her life and finally relinquishing darkness. It made me a little emotional. Seeing Angelina Jolie and Michelle Pfeiffer go head to head was epic! In line with the villain stories, I definitely recommend Cruella with Emma Stone if you haven’t seen it. It’s another retelling that exceeded my expectations.
Maleficent has more abilities. The Fey can manipulate nature to an extend but maleficent can do all types of magic and spells and is overall way more powerfull
I think Maleficent was ALREADY special! She was a fairy who took care of an entire forest AND princess Aurora. She doesn't need to be a phoenix... which makes no sense because it was never one of her powers. It was cool to see other fairies like her but they were not developped. I can't remember any of their names. Removing them from the movie won't change much. The evil queen would still try to kill every magical creatures. The blue fairy being gone was great 🙂 One annoying character dissapeared, would be nice if the pink and green fairy did it too. They were really useless in the first movie and this one as well. They never tried to protect Aurora with their magic or fight at her side
Imo I loved this movie. For a sequel it was pretty good 👍🏻. it was sad on some parts tho. But that's why it's good. It also Tried something new with maleficent. I really got no more to say Timmy XD.
This movie exists... The 1st was pretty good, yet better than Sleeping beauty for me. But this sequel bothered me personally. I found Maleficent wasn't so important and the villain was ridiculous.
Wasn't a fan of the first, and this felt like more of the same thing, plus Aurora and Maleficent's bond being severed so easily and Phillip and Aurora being side characters for what should've been a fleshed-out remake rather than a reimaging made me so unhappy.
1: That part where Aurora made Mal cover up the horns was hella racist. 2: Queen Ingrid was was narcissistic dictator with a for real hidden agenda. 3: Mal's origins were too beautiful to see what her life would've been like if she hadn't grown up in the Moors with the average fairies. 4: The Phoenix is my spirit animal.
For the first Maleficent movie, I found some enjoyable parts of it and looked on the bright side. This sequel however… is pretty bad. I’m sorry, I really wanted to like this movie, but it was just really unsatisfying. I couldn’t find anything to enjoy in this. Even Angelina Jolie’s great acting couldn’t save this movie. I’m just saying, this movie could’ve used a few rewrites.
Day 250 of me requesting a reaction to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. This is probably a milestone, but it doesn't FEEL like one. Analysis pending.
Maleficent looking out for Aurora safety is very heartwarming.
i like maleficent as a good person who looks out for the princess is such adorable

27:49 Ironically the evil queen becoming a goat means she is the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) for human villains. 😂

Fair enough but I think Elle Fanning gave the best performance out of everyone, tbh.
@@chasehedges6775I agree, she stood out the most.
I agree. She was wonderful
Oh, look 11:52, it's Francis.😂
Now this 24:55 is Dark Phoenix.🤩

I had only seen this movie in Spanish so seeing it in English was interesting.
Elle Fanning was the best part of this movie and she gave the best performance in the film as Aurora. She was amazing!❤

Check out Concussion 2015. Good movie and based on a true story
Maleficent has more abilities. The Fey can manipulate nature to an extend but maleficent can do all types of magic and spells and is overall way more powerfull
12:16 - 12:19 the colorful wings somehow make her hotter
She looks too familiar

I highly recommend Barbie (2023) for your next movie reaction video, and I think Clarris should watch it as well. She might like it.
Cool ❤
💯
The movie wasn't good IMO but Elle Fanning was awesome
I liked it. I think it was decent @@chasehedges6775

The only good thing about this movie was Elle Fanning and her performance. She made the whole thing watchable.
Definitely agree. This movie was BAD!
