He’s so cute!!! I have always laced the boots; some are heavy felt, foam boots….standing ones also. I use my little quilt binding clips… they are so strong and very small/ just right size!!! I use “T” pins..easy on my fingers
Oh my soul, he's adorable! I had to laugh at the "did you see that? I almost died!" scissor flip. Because that is so me. I'm always almost killing myself with sharp objects because I like to drop and fling things at myself. 🙄🤣 makes crafting more interesting, apparently. I can not wait to try my hand at this little buddy. I will probably sew him, because I have zero luck with hot glue seams, regardless of the material. I have fabric glue... maybe that would work, just take longer to dry. 🤷🏻♀️😊 Thanks for sharing!
Oh thank you so much, Lesley. I really appreciate the kind words and you let me know how I can make them better or easier to follow. I really value your opinion and want to do so many more tutorials in the coming year now that we're settled here.
Thank you, Pam. I cannot believe I remembered that little lantern and was honestly shocked when I found them. My craft room is... a mess and still separated across so many totes.
Sarah, he is absolutely adorable 💕 I love him. You have the cutest gnomes. You are so generous to, not only guide us through the process of making him, but to also share your patterns with us. Thank you for the inspiration and for sharing 🤗 xo
Thank uoi for this video and pattern. First time for comment Knoxville TN USA. I like how you showed step by step on how to do this. I going to make one later this week.
Sarah, your little guy is fabulous!!!! I'm going to attempt to make a sitting gnome like yours. No doubt, it will take me at least an hour to put him together, but that's okay - I'm retired and have nothing pressing to do. Thank you for this video.
Sarah, thank you for your quick and gracious response to my questions about a pattern. You're the best. I need to save up for all the gnome patterns of yours I'm going to purchase. Merry Christmas.
Hahah seriously - I wasn't drunk or anything, I swear. Twice in the same 30 minute period of nearly impaling yourself deserved to make it into the final cut. :)

Hi Sarah love all your Gnome patterns can i ask I'm in the UK and don't have your glue gun here could i ask for you to show me the size hole of the nozzle hoping i could get something similar thank you x
Oh, let me find the link on Amazon to see if they give it. Okay, so I don't see where they say that - a comment says 1 mm but I'm not sure. Here is the one I have - I'd ask a question on Amazon. amzn.to/3uhoYQ2
Hi Sarah! I’m new to your channel & I know this video is a year old so I hope you see my question. Can you use Fabri-Tac glue instead of hot glue? I love your channel! ♥️
I only get to watch you do magic on UTUBE so I can’t get your patterns. Help, how can I get them. If you will help me please hurry I’m ready to try some magic of my own. Thank you

I use the Surebonder brand now and don't have a problem. That said, I read that you can usually "fix" that issue with glue guns by not pushing the glue stick in ( but I don't have a way to test it).

Well I'd love to see it when you're done with him, Suzi. No matter how long it takes, it's the process that makes it fun, right?

So darn cute and easy. Thank You Sarah for another great gnome. I know this could be adapted for any Holiday. Trish from WI.
Hi Sarah. Your shelfsitter gnome is cute. I have made a few of them for family and myself.
Thank you, Connie. I love these and want to try some with rope legs for the summer - I just think that's so beachy and nautical.
Thank you, Sarah for this awesome video. I can sew, but enjoy using my glue gun instead. Again, thanks.😊❤
❤
lol girl you made me laugh so much! I am the same way with my scissors lol I really needed to laugh today, THANK YOU xo

Sarah, what kind of fleece do you recommend? My sewing center is Joann and there several different fleeces. Thank you so much.

This is SO sweet! Thank you for doing this tutorial :). Do you by any chance make girl gnomes with braids and long legs?
I have quite a few tutorials with the long legs but think only one is a girl. Are you looking to use fur to braid or yarn?
@@SarahNenniDaher I want to use yarn for the braids.
