- Hey! I've bough a set of new LED H7 lights for my 2008 CLK350 (w209), in this video I'll show you how easy it was to install them, what tools are needed and and end result before and after so you can decide for yourself if you want to tackle this DIY job. Have fun!
Here's a link to the LED kit:

And in case your headlights are beyond saving, here's an alternative with full led and DRL.

Helló Ádám, köszönöm a videót, igen informativ.
I just attempted an led conversion on my 2004 CLK 500 with stock xenon bulbs. Super disappointed and difficult to figure out. I might try a different brand since they are cheaper than new ballasts. Look forward to seeing more content. I will try to post a picture of my car.
Yeah these guys are a straight swap if you have old school halogens, I'm not sure how they'd work with xenons... I have xenons on my audi I doubt I'd ever change those. Let me know how it went for you, I'll try to do a follow up! I've owned 4 clks but all of them were halogens so I can't say for sure if they'd be an easy led conversion. I have a discord channel or you can message me on Facebook!
So one question, high beam and dipped beam are both H7?
Adam, I just need the same circle metal adapter. Could you please share the link?
Hi! This is what I bought (had to fish it out from purchase history) but make sure it fits your car. Mine was a 2008 CLK350 convertible, I doubt they would be very different but just in case. Also it's a halogen headlight not xenon. Hope it helps 🤙

Thanks for this im getting a clk on Saturday i was worried about not having xenons this seems pretty good il order the adapters. How good are these compared to your audi hid's?
Surprisingly good. I have a video on buying a clk, hope it helps. Enjoy! :)
I just bought some off the shelf LED osram ones they just turn on for half a second then turn off for 3 seconds in a loop. Also the adapter I orders 3 before I found the correct one. I'm going to return the osram leds, ones I bought and order these hopefully they have UK stock. As you have tested these and there are no errors. Hopefully mine will be the same.
Honestly I'm not quite sure these LEDs are legal in Europe, but if you can buy them on Amazon they likely are. In case you can't find them online, just make sure whatever led you purchase is marked as can-bus safe or ready. LEDs have different resistances from normal halogens and that's what's tripping your system. CANBUS ready bulbs have the right properties to trick your car into thinking they're regular halogens. Good luck!
Dear bro Adam,
I have CLK 200 Kompressor cabrio 2007
Will this fit in my car?
Another Important Question,
Will it show error in Dash (Left Beam or Right Beam)
Bcoz i bought Led from my country here and when i fit it shows error in Dash.
Pls send link of this led
Hi Ali, when you shop for a bulb (if you can't use the link in my description) just make sure the bulb is marked as 'canbus ready' and error free. LEDs have a different resistance than regular lights so that's why they throw errors. Canbus ready ones have fixed resistance so it shouldnt trigger an error.
Dont you need to change 4 of them for clk since 2 on each side?
I've only changed the regular lights, you could do the high and low beams too which would be another 4 bulbs but it's so worth it!
Do you have a newer updated link for these?
Thanks for calling it out! I've updated the description, but here's the link just in case:

Did you not have to deal with a blinking led? Tried it on my w209 with sylvania bulbs only to have it blink after ignition.
Hence why I used the lights from the link in the description. Amps on an LED light as opposed to a regular bulb are way different so that trips your circuit. There needs to be some extra resistance, which is included in the lights I used.
@@adamdezsi Adam youre a brilliant lad thanks
Any idea how to fix it when all lights flash then turn off?
That should only happen when you swap the factory halogen to LEDs without the resistor. If you just get new bulbs their wattage is way lower than the halogens so it'll trip the computer into thinking something's wrong.
Si ma fai vedere l’installazione completa, l’attacco dei fili come si fa?
There is a plug with 2 holes that only goes in like a power plug, if it doesn't work, you just flip it around. 1:18
hello, after a year of use it still works without problem?
Yes :)

@@adamdezsi Thank you
@@amirgains sure thing! Thanks for watching and good luck with the car! :)
Does it fit CLK 500 o6
It should, the bulbs have not changed. But check your original bulbs and reach out to the manufacturer if you want to be absolutely sure - I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work though.
