That’s the main way to take heli down especially with an M2 you light up it’s rotor and unload a mag into its body and it’ll be down in seconds

Make a video about armor and protection as i dont know how it works, i can see flat percentages when i wear armor.

The way to actually make the heli move is to throw 2 spears anywhere into the body and then remove 1 spear.
You can use the super soaker to put out the fires sooner.

A good tip with hazy is that the 30% damage protection doesn’t work for ALL NPCS. Heli, Bradley, Scientists. Always wear full protection.
Well generally you should always wear protection.
if you just drop a item on it, it will move, too.

Imagine using Helios corpse to block someone’s door
If its low enough to the ground you can actually damage it by throwing your rock. I don't recommend it though since it will bully you after that.
Helicopters are really week if you think about it, almost anything can damage it, and if does while mid air, you going to be in dangerous 🚁🔥

You can also do it with the bradley body, just gota throw a c4 or cassete player on it after a few arrows
@@sigbog cassete player is cheaper and wont destroy the body and will send it flying until it despawns i think, but a c4 blows up the body and will last for only 10 secs or so

I had to got get jackie to get a crate under it we fot a custom and we had the scare of a lifetime and ran two grids using a combined half inventory of stims
early 2016 rust, fresh BP wipe in the first 2 hours of wipe heli came out and got stuck on a hill near our base(rustralasia server), completely immobile and we took it down with bows, pretty sure we got c4 rockets and raided our enemy clan shortly after from memory
So on console rust haz does 8% projectile protection but on PC it does 30% anyone wanna explain that??
Really ruins the game when custom server get in rust console that stuff will be over when I make my servers
you can throw 3 spears or anything throwable at it and take one off and it will starts moving

Can make a dead heli or bradley fly (and their parts) with x2 spears, throw a spear in from two side and then remove a spear to move the object in the direct picked up from.
Or you can blow it up and waste boom instead of time
You can also do this with airdrops, which can be useful for trying to loot them from the air with minicopters (normally you cant)
I remember one time i didnt know the different rotors and my friend was was telling me about it and i didnt believe him and i dumped like 3 lmg mags into it like why isnt it dying 😂

Can you bring a squirt gun to put out the crate fires? I just recently saw this can be used to put out flaming structures.
not crate fires, there's multiple types of fire in rust and things like heli or bradley crates cant be put out with a squirt gun. they will instantly go out if they land in water though

I heard somewhere if you break the tail rotor first patrol will maneuver slower and be easier to shoot. I'm not sure if it's true but I always do it anyway.
So the arrow thing. Fire 2 arrows into it, remove one. Same effect. It will move differently based on where the arrow(s) is/are. I've watched people stand on the main part of brad or heli as it flies off.
