Just ran into “the voice of KennyWood Memories today 3-15-22” Rick Sebak today in Pittsburgh, Pa. Great personality, we chatted about random KennyWood stuff. Very iconic voice of Pittsburgh. Highlight of my day. 👍
My daughter ,her boyfriend and myself went to Kennywood in June 2019 lmm77 yrs old and never rode a roller coaster it was high on my bucket list . And I wasn’t disappointed . We rode the many coasters . What fun I’ve been. Called crazy you name it but I was thrilled to no end the Phantoms revenge was just what I wanted andsoon as possible I want to go back and try the Steel curtain.. Hope to do so before summers end.
Omg I video taped this when I was like 10 & I obsessively watched it even though I live in Tx & have never been to Kennywood. I love the history & the fun of it all. Thanks for uploading this 😂
This documentary is going to be 40 years old in 2018......I love watching this, makes me miss rides like the Old Mill and the Turnpike. They need to do a new video soon with the newer rides.
30! It's from '88. I was super confused for a minute, I didn't think this was late 70s, doesn't look that old (and I'm pretty sure I'm not that old lol).
MorphinTime it sure does, many changes have been done to the park since then. They should also include the fright nights and holiday lights in here as well as their holiday themed rides and haunted attractions.
I used to go to Kennywood as a kid in the 70's, the absolute sheer excitement of those days I still remember. Took us a few hours to drive there and when we would first see the roller coasters and park from the road how happy we got
I've been going to kennywood every year for as long as I can remember, now they have season passes I get so I can go all the time! :D I love kennywood, amazing memories
My friends from Wizards of Waverly Place (who are recent high school graduates) have been to Kennywood at least 6 times. They'd pretty much know everything about what Kennywood has to offer. In fact, my friend, Alex made a list of the best roller coasters: Jack Rabbit
I'm curious to see how the Musicians of Monte Carlo cast likes Kennywood next summer. Only my friend, Alex will have new friends to ride with: instead of her old friends, Justin, Max, Theresa, and Jerry, she'll have Blair (Gossip Girl), Juliet (Gossip Girl) and Finn (Glee). Also, Vi from some movie I don't know.
I work in Pittsburgh and Macy's down the street from where I work has a bookstore on the 5th floor called Bradley's Books. Anyways, they sell old WQED documentaries on DVD. They have Kennywood Memories for sale with extras.
At the beginning the Wurlitzer 153 is playing the Hop-Scotch Polka. After that, is Kennywood's old Tangley Calliaphone playing "Good Ol' Summertime" The calliaphone is no longer in the gazebo :( What happened to it? I really think they should bring back the Calliaphone!
Sooo we’re visiting my bro for thanksgiving in San Francisco and it’s truly freezing today.. we were just headed down the stairs outside to his back yard and he goes down.. i immediately asked “ you aight geno?? Yeah you sure your aight???”
Seriously what is with that god danm scream at the intro I dont feel like explaining to the police i was watching a youtube video and there is no murder victim
Makes me so grateful for this park to have been a part my life......Kennywood is truly one of a kind........
"You alright, Gino?" man, i hate to say that i still laugh everytime he falls on the track.
That’s why I hate roller coasters
The Kennywood Waltz is lovely!

I loved going to Kennywood as a child in the 80’s. Now I live close to it and haven’t been there in years.
