Hunting Happiness - Sara Lahey at TEDxNewHaven

Sharp, funny, and vivacious, Sara Lahey won't give up until she puts a smile on your face. Since founding the Hunting Happiness Project in 2010, she has pioneered what she calls a "World Happiness Movement."
Sara's aspiration to create happiness started with childhood reflections on the human condition. At age five she decided that no child should suffer.
Sara studied nursing and political science before discovering her true calling fostering global happiness.
Her "Love'n Aid" campaign is providing free gifts and services, and encouraging people to engage in acts of kindness. This inspirational initiative is contributing to a kinder, happier, and more peaceful world.
Sara was born and raised in Northern California. She adores children, sunshine, scrabble, pancakes and giving high-fives.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I support the Love n Aid concept. The 1st ten people who send me a link to their favorite
501(c) 3 U.S. registered Charity will have $100 sent to that Charity in their name. I love Random Acts of kindness, happiness or compassion, all are little acts of lovingness! Go Sara Go. Be the Wonder Woman of Happiness. There is so much sadness in the world, we need more people to speak up and act out in the name of Love.
