She is the author or editor of five other books including the Oxford Handbook of Happiness. She founded the European Network of Positive Psychology and the first Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) in Europe. Currently, she teaches at l'Ecole Centrale Paris and assists the Government of Bhutan in developing a framework for happiness-based public policy, at the request of the UN. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

So thankful I came across this.Very helpful.... I would love my children to be happy and resilient.I want them to dwell on the possibilities and positivities. Life is indeed a phenomenal journey despite the ups and downs.

Excellent video Dr Boniwell, love to find out more about what you do and how you do it. I found you when I noticed you wrote a book in 2016 with an almost identical title to my own book written in 2012 How To Change Your Life One Day at a Time.

The opening statements about not teaching happiness in school or other institutions is chillingly true. Enough is a feast.

Great content. It’s a shame she spoke as if she only had 10 minutes to deliver 20 minutes worth of content. Very aggressive/frustrated and not looking or sounding very happy. Four teenagers are probably put a lot of that theory to the test.

Nothing captured my interest and I abandoned after 7 long minutes. Pretty vacuous stuff is my very charitable assessment.

in my opinion ,i have an ADHD and even if this women is talking very fast she captured my attention and i have been able to understand the most of it .the educationnal system is a priority nowadays and because we encourage only the ones without difficulties with school subjects can t we exploit the capacity of remarkable kids whom ends listening to their negative parrots contenting themselves with mediocrity which surrounds us in our world .But in termes of presentation skills i agree she has to progress and i m sure she knows it.
