I've never actually gotten to play the Resident Evil remake before until last night. I've wanted it for the longest time and finally got my hands on it thanks to the PlayStation sale going on. I'm starting with Jill's story and am having so much fun!

Fact 9 is wrong, the “boss” spider is actually named Black Tiger. It’s never mentioned in the game but if you owned the players guide, it told you the name there.
I actually am Greek and always noticed the characters used, especially on the crests where they're more visible, and was confused cuz the letters just seemed random and didn't create any words. Never thought that the letters arithmetically corresponding to English create an actual sentence
I never knew that they meant anything until I did my research for this video. I've beaten the game multiple times and just only recently found out what the letters translated to. Crazy stuff!
This is not the last RE game to have multiple endings. Revelations 2 has different ending is you help Moira with her gun phobia RE7 has 2 endings depending if you choose Zoey or Mia Outbreak has different endings depending on if you have an extra cure, cured your infection, or choose to stay behind because you're infected.
This video was doomed from the start. It's titled "20 Things You STILL Don't Know About Resident Evil", then around 0:31 he starts saying "what if I told you that there are 20 facts that you MAYBE didn't know about the game". Then at 0:50 he has a title screen of "20 Facts About the RE1 Remake". Like dude wtf is this video trying to be, other than straight up deceptive click-bait with a completely misleading title bc most of these "facts" I already knew. Like more than half of them, and for some of his so-called "facts" I'm not even sure they're so much factual as they are his personal opinion about the game. UA-cam is overly saturated with RE channels and content but with vids that are way better than this one. Disliked the video. First and last vid I'll be watching from this dude's channel. Where's Barry and his RE easter egg videos are way more watchable.
I've listened Slow Shock by Silent Partner many times on Dead Meat channel that I have James A. Janisse voice in my mind. Cool addition to the video, man! I love it!
Not to mention that the zombie still manages to survive, because he is heard leaving the room when we go reporting to Weskah. The RE1DC Kitchen zombie lives!
Point number 11 is exactly why I HATE Rebecca. She literally couldn't have been at the manor since Claire and Moira both confirm that Jill was saved by Barry from the ceiling trap and Barry is either *not* at the manor in favor of Rebecca, or he is and saves Jill. Can't be both ways but apparently it is
I only ever played RE: The Directors Cut, Dualshock Edition, as a kid. I played as Jill, multiple times, but I never got to fight a shark or a plant. The shark was dead, cuz the water was drained. And the plant was already dead/shriveled up as well. What the heck did I do to bypass these two parts of the game?
Whoever it was that was in charge of the story and had creative vision for the remake should be brought back too make another master piece give him his money.
The remake is the RE title where I cut my teeth into the franchise and have loved it since then; those crimson heads still scare me though. As for the canonical ending, the closest we get to it is in the book "The Umbrella Conspiracy" with Chris, Jill, Barry and Rebecca escaping the mansion before it explodes; too bad we don't get that as a "bonus scene".
Regarding the Greek letters they are just Normal Greek letters we use nowadays. The "capcom" meaning is pronounced "haphom" and I believe there are some more inscriptions into the Tomb of the Crimson Head Boss :-) But I really missed the 8th fact because as a Greek I just read gibberish text... Well done for pointing that out!
Hearing that fans are responsible for the door loading screens coming back when the game could run without them is like hearing that fans were responsible for removing story elements from Paper Mario. Something is very wrong here and I have some serious questions about the interview sample. Also I would like to slap them lol.
Not to be that guy, but gonna be that guy.. Pennsylvania isnt considered in the midwest. The beginning of the game literally says "A midwestern town in America". Its actually said to be closer to Springfield Missouri.

If I recall correctly, there are a set of plates in the spider corridors before the pantry that will say "J's bar" if you press "A", which is the bar in Resident Evil 2, 3, and both Outbreaks. You can also see Jill's breasts jiggle if you go into the broken shotgun room with outfit 3, and move the C stick under the camera. You can also blow the leg off a zombie if you point the shotgun down. The game can also be beaten with only the knife.
While, I can't surely confirm that it's the exact same model of rocket launcher, that you mentioned - there is a four barrelled rocket launcher in the original resident evil 3, that looks the same. So you might be wrong on that point.

It was in REmake at the end It was in RE3 (original) you buy it with money from playing mercenaries and you have it in the main game. I remember when this came out on the GameCube. I was blown away by the visuals. Having played the original when that came out? Yeah. It was night and day. Holy shit I'm old.
Just a small correction, but Resident Evil 7 is the last Mainline entry to feature multiple endings. Both of which are decided on who you give the vaccine to. Ending A(the canon Ending) happens when you give Mia the vaccine. This results in a skipped boss fight at the end of the boat section, and with Mia and Ethan riding off in to the sunset. Ending B(the bad ending) happens if you give the vaccine to Zoe. It causes Zoe to die, trigger a boss fight against Mia at the end of the Boat section, which causes Mia to die, and Ethan riding off into the sunset all depressed.
Fun fact: after you subdue Nicholai and leave, there is another helicopter on the pad. While it would certainly be difficult for him to hobble over to it, it isn't out of the realm of possibility.
This is why I cringed every time I see a post of new RE about people telling the game that it is just a zombie game or that other types of enemies should not exist and or saying that RE copied this/that game. Like B!2ches Re1 from the start have sharks, plants, lizards, spiders, and dogs.
Fact 21: The HD Remasters censored Jill's unlockable RE3 outfit before REmake 3 did. When you get the rare upskirt shots in, the HD remasters show a black void while the original Gamecube version has uncensored white panties.
I could be wrong but I believe that they looked way more like actual gamecubes on the original release, probably like that silver panasonic version lol

But it is still the flash model. So REmake was Not the only Resident Evil game to ever let the player use the flash
no offense to people with phobias but a horror game is a horror game for a reason. it's meant to scare you. if something is too scary for you then horror is a category you should just avoid.

Not true about the rocket launcher. In RE3 Nemesis you can obtain it and use it to kill Nicholai when he is trying to kill you with the attack chopper. Also Mikhail uses it in the mercenaries mode and Jill can also use it when you unlock it from the mercenaries.

As a kid first playing RE I used to hate the door loading screens but as I grew I realized just how iconic and unique to the series.
People are always hating on Jill for needing to be rescued in the REmake opening even though Chris needed to be rescued 5 sec later by Wesker 😂
I loved the addition of Lisa to the game. Her look, lore, and boss fight were such welcome additions.

Nicholai cannot fly injured and he definitely did not fly away. It’s more possible that he hid inside that Nest 2 bunker from the nuclear firestorm.
