Honestly in my opinion your stock rims look better then those. I would have said powder coat them. That's what I did. I powder coated mine red on my destroyer gray Daytona. Looked amazing! Everyone loved the look. Made it pop. As for drag radials I would say go with either nitto or the toyos. SS717 used a set of toyos if I remember right and he said they did very well. To be honest the only reason people go with Atturo tires is because they are cheap. For what they are I spose they are ok but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. I ended up going with BFGoodrich 285s on the stock 20x9s and theirs 275s up front. Those tires were great tires and a good price!

HKK98 those are great! But would you rather have strut bars over weight reduction of all kinds? I only wanted to make 5 to keep the video around 10 mins! Also the goal behind this was to make you accelerate as fast as possible off the line. Strut bars won't help do that.

Just picked up a 2014 challenger SRT8 with 25000 miles. Love to have a Hellcat one day but considering I skipped to SRT8 first. I like the RT but wanted the 392. I like the black vapor wheels so I’m keeping factory wheels. Maybe bigger tires.
I’ve seen bonestock scats pull a 1.8x 60ft on stock tires. There are Bolt-on scats pulling 1.6's 60 ft on drag radials so I can’t see how a converter is going to help much. On a A4, A5 or A 6, a stall converter is a great mod and can easily drop 4 tenths in the 60ft. I’ve had several cars with high stall converters the past 35 years. These new A8 and A10 transmissions are geared differently and they have much less rpm drop on upshifts (better shift extension) that was also a big benefit of high stall converters. With a proper track tire these heavy boats of ours can have no problem getting off the line.

The NAG1 cars can definitely benefit from a stall converter and some blue top solenoids. good list of mods with tires being the best since we are so woefully under tire’d from the factory. Try jet performance stage chip 2 it would not affect warranty and you would get Gain 22+horsepower&24+ Torque with a 91 octane I had this on my 57 hemi took it to the dealership and it does not kill my warranty

Coilovers are not for drag. You want your front end to raise and weight transfer to the rear wheels. This is standard. This is why u disconnect the front sway bar. Run sticky tires.
You can also get one of those throttle commanders because it technically doesn't add hp or anything it just makes the throttle jumpy and also it can be easily taken out in minutes
Yo do you have an aftermarket key fob? Im getting a charger pursuit and they dont come with keyless ignition… tryin to see if i can fix that we aftermarket systems

jeff grabowski I’m thinking of doing a gear swap 3:70 or 3:90 and see if I can get a 1.6 60’ in positive DA and 1.5 when it’s negative and then do a tune and long tube headers to help the mph
Portland Drag racing my bro did a 3.90 diff swap from Steve white, on his 16 shaker A8 scat. It definitely makes it more snappy but traction was REALLY an issue on a non drag tire. Haha
Portland Drag racing smart, especially if it’s not your daily. I daily drove my heads cam c6 vette for several yrs on a drag radial. Heavy rain/standing water was a little stressful but nittos 555r are pretty decent as a daily driven drag tire.

I mean, my SRT8 has stock Goodyear 255s, can easily break traction if trying to, but if you are good with the clutch, I can get 0.95Gs off the line.
