    My dream piece

Wow... very very good. Very nice rendition and I like the fact that you didn't attempt to play it too fast.
I like also that the melody on the left hand comes out very clearly. The right hand is supposed to accompany the left hand melody up to some point and then they switch and the right hand takes the melody and the left accompanies it.

Thank you for your comment. I am still working on the piece, as it contains alot of musical and technical value.

@@zhampfu Thank you for replying. If you still studying it check this clip by Rubinstein where he explains how it is supposed to be played.

It is very tricky etude but the information is there in the score and we must never forget that this is a piece of music, not athletics on keyboard.
I'm a pianist my self btw, not a professional one of course andI think that the information is always on the score and that the contemporary professional pianists just over do it with their interpretations on classical pieces. They are trying way too much to show off, speed up, be loud etc and then they don't play music. Faster and louder is not better. A music piece must have balance and its phrasing must make sense.
Anyway.. Check how Rubinstein plays it at the last part of the clip to see how much better it sounds.

Brilliant work. Very natural and smooth. One thing that a lot of people do, and maybe it says in your edition? In all editions i've seen, the E in bar 4 RH carries over. It's a suspension, which i think is a beautiful inflection rather than a complete chord change.

Thanks alot. you mean all the way? In my edition there is e on 1 and on 3 which is being held over 4. (Henle Urtext edition)

I have henle too. Just watching it again. I think you are doing it as written. I thought you let go. I like to try and bring out the suspension though. A lot of people only hold the e on the 3 and then let go. Oh I guess you aren't doing a long pause on 3 which emphasises the suspension. Perhaps that's why it sounds different @@zhampfu

@@stefanhaffner yes, I am holding it down but I do the Fermata only on 4 to have sort of an echo to the first 2 bars.

Play only the first half of winter wind in school talent show and prank them by bowing, then comeback and play the drop. That would be a history (have a friend record)

@@alborzpiano @alborzpiano if no one will do it, I'll learn piano myself. I don't know where to start tho can you help me? I have a 32-key keyboard that still works lol. My experience with it was trying to replicate the first part of op.9 no.2 from memory lol. I heard it somewhere and I liked the sound of it. Sadly I don't know the name of the piece and I just remembered the first 30 seconds, I was 8 at the time then I got tired of it and pretty much abandoned it cuz I don't know any pieces to play.

congrats but if I were you I would slowly try to increase the speed bit by bit till it's a good pace, but if it starts to get messy, stop and revise till you can do it, i believe you can!!
