      So the things aren't available anymore? Bummer. Saw a link for a website but the house furniture link goes to full size furniture somewhere. The doorbell and square aspect TV were cute. I wonder if anyone is making a new version. Think I've seen the kind you can tuck a cellphone inside if, big console TV's.

    Very informative, and since I'm new to dollhouse miniatures, figured I'd see how much work is involved before electrifying, and wow, had no idea about a working tv!

      A full hour of that irritating music is way too much. Some people use hearing aids and they cannot turn down the music while turning up the human voices, ALL the noise goes up or down together. And that's why I loathe music on videos. People Can always choose their own music if they want it, but please don't force it in everyone. I'm going to see if captions work just to escape that overly cheerful annoying noise. Might be ok briefly, but not a solid hour. It's what captors do to brainwash their prisoners, bombard them with inescapable noise so they can't even think. It wears a person down and weakens them, makes them more susceptible to suggestion. Every POW is subjected to sleep deprivation and bombarded with noise. My abusive ex husband used to do the same thing, come home and immediately turn on the TV way too loud, didn't even watch it, just HAD to have that racket on constantly. And then he'd yell at everyone for two solid hours until he got tired.

    was wondering if you would place the tape wiring in before you would put in things like the floor covering and also wall paper or other wall treatments. Really like the way you show how to do this

      Haven't seen this video yet, but every other one I've watched has the tape wiring or round wiring hidden underneath the wallpaper, floors or exterior siding. They recommend taking photos and/of making diagrams of where the wiring is so you can find it when repair is needed

    Oh dear this is 3 years old. Well here goes anyway. The tape is a continuous connection, how are you able to put so much to one connection but the board you have is designed for multiple connections? DC I thought would need each one connected to an individual plug? ..lol okay let me point out the obvious, I'm not a electrician. I want to build a ten to twelve room house with 4 outlets per room please advise what I need to make this happen. AWESOME VIDEO! no hmmm an hahs just strait and direct and to the point so much valid info strait away! LUV THAT!

    • @recoveringsoul755

      The Real Good Toys brand of house comes with that flooring already there, so they must be planning to cover it with different hardwood, carpeting, tile etc.

    Thank you for the information. In the instructions you mention to put tape over the brad connections, but I do not think I noticed you say WHY to do that. Can you explain the reasoning behind that? Is it just to help keep it more secure?

    • @luvsdvds
      @luvsdvds 6 років тому +3

      It does double duty ... it helps to insulate the connections, while securing the eyelets or brads. It also protects them from the wallpaper glue when the time comes to apply the paper. :)

      No, it's the same as the all white wire, we just do it in black and white. You can do the same thing by cutting two pieces of white and coloring one with a black sharpie pen.

    hello. newbie here. I have an older dollhouse that I am rehab'ing. I've never wired before. why can't I just wrap the tape wire from the under the ceiling of the floor below to the floor above instead of using the round wire to connect? do you know what I mean? thank you. plus my house floors/ceilings are not as thick and sturdy as yours so it's a little more difficult to work with, I think. don't think I could "hammer" anything.

    • @tiffanytweedie
      @tiffanytweedie 8 років тому +1

      Yes you can. I just use the round wire because it's easier to connect. Good luck with your dollhouse!
