I started my plant from a top about four months ago and now and it is thriving. I just repotted it and brought it in for the winter. Now i keep it under a grow light for about 10 hours a day, and fertilize it every two weeks.. it has grown so much! I started it in a glass of water until it grew Roots about three or four inches long, and then I put it in a pot. When I went to repot it, it had so many nice thick white long roots! So I know it's healthy.
Couple of comments. 1. I plant a stake 180 deg from the side the fruit is tipping and tie a rope to the top of the pineapple to keep it erect. 2. You can let the pineapple ripen on your kitchen table. 3. Very nice explanation on the 3 methods of propagation.
Thank you for step by step growing video. I live in Virginia U S.A. and grow pineapple in large pots. This was first year I had fruit. The pups have only 1 inch of roots. I learned from watching video about the sucker plant which unfortunately I threw away. Next plant I Will know how to care for better.
Excellent ! Very beautifully & thoroughly explained step by step almost every thing about Pineapple 🍍 propagation. It's really a very good & Comprehensive guide vedio.
That pineapple wasn’t ready to be cut. She could’ve brought it in the house and let it sit by the window for a couple days we were like a week then it would have turned yellow in the pineapple would’ve been a lot more sweeter.

Not all pineapple are the same. If I let my Hilo white pineapple to turn yellow it would be rotten....
