Hello from my home in northwest Florida, USA. Very good information! I planted my longbeans under my corn last year and they grew good on the corn stalks until the wind storm blew down my corn and all was tangled mess on the ground.

Very detailed instructions. Thank you. A great tip I learned from Hawaiian taro farmers is to plant the taro plant with the curved part of the bottom stem facing South/North for bigger corms. And planting the curved part East/West for growing more baby plants. It works! Nine months later you get nice size corms.

I started my plant from a top about four months ago and now and it is thriving. I just repotted it and brought it in for the winter. Now i keep it under a grow light for about 10 hours a day, and fertilize it every two weeks.. it has grown so much! I started it in a glass of water until it grew Roots about three or four inches long, and then I put it in a pot. When I went to repot it, it had so many nice thick white long roots! So I know it's healthy.

Couple of comments. 1. I plant a stake 180 deg from the side the fruit is tipping and tie a rope to the top of the pineapple to keep it erect. 2. You can let the pineapple ripen on your kitchen table. 3. Very nice explanation on the 3 methods of propagation.
