My early season work has focused on cutting out the hip sway, keeping my upper body still, applying right foot pressure for power, and the core turn in progress toward an easy, simple, repeatable, effortless swing. Clearing out the restrictions due to a faulty address has been the key to opening up my body to flow through the swing. As you so eloquently have discussed here, where the left hip is pointed at the start dictates that flow in the windup. Great tips for using the wall for one part and threading the alignment stick through the belt loops as a guide, which is useful on the range. I'd add using the whip helps with feedback on all of this, too. Great stuff, Alex!
This is great thank you! Yes unfortunately golf instruction often focuses on symptom repairing rather than the cause
65 yr old golfer and I watched your driver video before lasts weeks round and shot one of my better rounds of the season. Watched this one and it makes so much sense for me and my bad back. I’ll let you know after next weeks round!
Sorry missed this. That’s excellent to hear but well done! Keep at it and let us know 💪🏌🏽
It's amazing how often the swing falls down when the very basics are not correct. Thanks for the reminder. Very timely for me!
Great tip as always Alex
I am getting right to work, I love your easy tips.
This is the tip I needed for the past several years. I have been trying to change my swing to reduce reliance on my arms now that I am 69 years old. The instructors I have been watching online have confounded me so badly that I have about 20 swing thoughts running through my mind now when I get over the ball. I was struggling with trying to rotate my body. Thank you Alex for this great tip
You’re not alone!!
Finding your own swi mag type along with simple adjustment to make it easier is the way to go. Keep at it and don’t lose track of simplicity. 💪🏌🏽
So well explained and easy to follow! I’ll let you know how I get on later !
Appreciate that and please do!
Thanks so much for the tip.. It helps a lot .
More than welcome
hello do we move 2 inches for each club
I needed this tip about a month ago when I started on the range, my left side is aching. I'll try and remember this for Friday. (Yes I'm playing even though I'm hurting, I've got the golf bug again after 14years of not playing)
Isnt this the exact setup that in stack and tilt is taught?
Beautifully explained btw! Thanks a lot. Fonna try to pay more attention to this way of addresing.
No not really. It’s not as severe or rigid but I’m not qualified in S&T to say conclusively
This set up really helps me turn into my right side on the backswing. It feels like my weight is moving to the inside of my right foot and that the right leg is straightening as I take the club back. Is this what I should be feeling?
It’s the exact setup needed for the RSS!
💪🏌🏽
What would be different (if any) with driver?
None really.
Senior golfer here, coach told me to do this last week and my swing fell right into place.
Excellent and thanks for sharing.💪🏌🏽
Would you say this is a hip bump? Also does the weight Stay on the hip with the back swing, or do i transfer it to the back foot????
Weight shifts yes. It’s not really a bump. We don’t need to bump if we set correctly (at least for most golfers and simplicity)
Only 2 minutes a day and no swinging necessary? SOLD!
🤩😊🏌🏽
Some say right elbow must be higher than left elbow. This set up adjustment makes that impossible.. Smh
When should the elbow be higher? And the shoulder tilt should not increase by the pelvis moving 2 inch up and forward
@@TheArtofSimpleGolf I am not saying your tips are wrong but it's confusing as someone I watched another video kind of saying the opposite. Your tips factually make sense
@@takaedzachirowodza601 I say to all… test. You decide what suits YOU best. 💪🏌🏽
Is this Adam Porzak in disguise???
Not sure who that is. 🤷🏻♂️
@@TheArtofSimpleGolf he preaches the hip bump in his lessons. Now that you are doing it, that convinces me more to focus on it.
@@JD-nv6rr have it programs and other videos years ago and recently. Just explained in a different manner and purpose 🏌🏽💪
