I love that Vivian wasn't like "have you noticed that Seth got really hot" but she said "have you noticed that seth is like nice to everyone". She overlooked his good-looks and just saw his absolutely great and sweet character and I think that's beautiful and everybody should take notes from both of those characters.

Seth is not only a dreamboat, but he's a supportive feminist ally to boot! He doesn't even hesitate to call out Vivian for treating him, her mum or her mum's boyfriend horribly. Seth is a catch! 💘👫😍

I liked Seth. I was worried that he would either be a pushover with no backbone to call Vivian out on anything or a fake "feminist" pick me boy who turned out to be an abusive asshole as a twist. I was relieved and delightfully surprised that he turned out to be genuine.

this film was perfect. what I liked most was that the romance between them was not superficial, they supported each other and saw good characteristics between them forming a healthy courtship. Besides, the film did not end with the kiss between them, but with a beautiful campaign about feminism.

I watched this movie twice in a week and I can't get enough of it. Finally a movie that portrays modern feminism realistically.❤️💪🏻
If by that, you mean a white person becomes woke through listening to their black friend...and then becomes a white saviour? Or by the BIPOC characters being relegated to supporting character status? A person with a disability who only exists...to discuss their disability? I appreciate what this movie is trying to do, but it fails on so many levels.

@@PascalineKelechi You actually can portray modern feminism realistically (doing the all in one). For instance, the main character could have been black or Asian or Latinx, or another visible miniority. Viv could have been anything other than a cis white woman. The disabled character could have had some lines that were NOT about her disability. A few script/casting changes would have represented modern feminism much more realistically and representatively.

Vivian was so unappreciative of Seth's support and took out her anger on him yet he was the one to apologize in the end, not Vivian. That never sat right with me.
