until they have a demon.
then somehow everyone realizes that the people you want to call to get rid of a demon are the catholics.
The Catholic priest is the one who has the tools to get the job done.
this isn't just among christians, the protestants and Evangelicals.
it is known around the world that if you have a problem with these troublesome spirits, the place you want to go to get rid of them is the Catholic Church.
That is absolutely true. I was raised Protestant, Presbyterian to be exact. I was taught by my sunday school teachers and pastors that if our pastors fail to exorcize a demonically possessed person, the next step was to look for a Catholic priest. I asked them why? They said its because the Roman Catholic Church signed a pact with the devil that allows them to "cast out demons". Years later, as an adult, I realized how ridiculous that reasoning was. Converted to Roman Catholicism. Ave Maria! :)

@@vanzealotbush2244 We were taught that the Roman Catholic Church sold certificates of indulgences depending on how much one pays, the more you pay the less time you spend in purgatory or even things like Mother Mary isn't the actual Mary, the mother of Jesus, but the Roman Catholic Church is using a place-holder instead to worship the Roman goddess, Venus, or the Jesus they worship isn't really Jesus but Apollo.

One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church
The logic of your exorcism argument is one of the things that has convinced me to go from Lutheran to Catholic. My former Lutheran Pastor told me he tried to exorcise our church building, which has housed troublesome and bad spirits. He was unsuccessful, despite using holy water. A clear argument, amongst many, for Catholicism.
Exorcisms are not full proof. They only work sometimes on low-level demons and often they are not a permanent solution. I don't about the success rate of Catholic exorcists.
That’s funny because I’m a no body grew up Baptist and I exorcised my house as a kid simply by saying “in the name of Jesus be gone. Get out of this house. I do not fear you for God is on my side.” A second later you could feel the peace come over that house.

@@trocha419 Jesus helps even protestants when it's for a greater good as well as he helps induists or muslims if it serves His purpose. It doesn't mean He's fond of those faiths.
Also you can send demons away for a while even if you are an atheist pouring holy water, that doesn't mean they will not come back again over and over.
It's God's blessing that is in the holy water that works not the person.
In the case of the first comment about the lutheran pastor it's easier that Jesus didn't help to prove that his faith alone can't nothing against demons.

@@N1IA-4 My brother, even other Christian faiths can send demons away for a while sometimes indeed, but it's only temporary and usually are low grade demons but just because they are scared of God and Jesus. When it comes to the bosses other Christian faiths can't do nothing infact and always rely on Catholics.
Also sometimes demons pretend to have gone just to come back later. They are not in a hurry unless they have not a Catholic priest chasing them.

Literally why l came back to Catholicism and not any other Christianity.
Remembering that when l worked in a general bookstore, hearing satanists/ gnostica catholica thelemites, and other deluded creatures, excitedly discuss with me, but mostly amongst themselves, as l was uninterested at the time, discuss going to the Cathedral Bookstore to get "authentic" supplies and also alluding to most important thing, the acquisition of holy water and hosts. My parish priest is the diocesan exorcist and has performed exorcisms for Protestants here. He’s brought up this argument-from-exorcism with at least one of them; I don’t know if it’s succeeded at all, but if I were a non-Catholic who believed in demonic possession, this would at least give me pause

The fact the only the Catholic Church does real deal exorcism that really work, while the local Protestant minister gets slammed against the walls proves that God, Jesus, and Saints are real and so is all the rest of the Catholic Church. For those of us cradle Catholics, and those who have come into the Church; it seems Catholicism is the only one that makes most sense historically, biblically, logically, and rationally. Jesus did say that only those whom the Father draws or to whom the Father reveals Him; that will come to Him. I often wonder if like the Jews, God has placed a blindness on them for whatever reason; that solely by the Grace of God is so clear to us. Apologetics never converts anyone; it is just there to answer the questions and lead the way for those whom God has chosen the gift of the Catholic Faith.

I remember a few weeks ago at mass one of our Parish priests mentioned that we were at mass because God called us to mass. We weren't at mass because we wanted to be there but because the Lord called us to Him/to mass.

This is a great video that every Christian should at least hear and consider...no one in their right mind would refer a genuine case of demonic possession to their local Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian etc. pastor. They always end up coming to a Catholic priest to get the job done properly. When people try to call the Catholic Church 'satanic' I always wonder how or why Satan would cast out Satan? This is an obvious scriptural reference that every Christian knows or should know.
James 4:7 tells us: “But oppose the Devil and he will flee from you.” Rejecting things that will bring on the demon attack like Ouija boards will prevent this from happening in the first place.
This is what Jesus said about it at Matthew 7:22,23: “Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and EXPEL DEMONS in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’”
Not being true disciples of Jesus Christ, such workers of lawlessness would be children of the Devil. (John 8:44) Any claimed expelling of demons on their part would be not as instruments of God, but agents of the Devil. In using persons as exorcists, even doing so in Jesus’ name, Satan would not be divided against himself. This seemingly good work is really Satan transforming himself into “an angel of light,” thereby advancing his power and influence over the deceived. (2 Corinthians 11:14)
Signs of the TRUE RELIGION do as Jesus commanded at Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28:19,20 and preach worldwide. True Christians are known for their love for one another as Jesus said. (John 13:35) All miraculous powers and gifts ceased by the end of the first century C.E. after the apostles died. (1 Corinthians 13:8)

Please speak on yoga and somatic exercise and new age exercises. I have never been given a catholic point of view on this.
Yoga is bad. I practiced 20 years, and needed quite a but of deliverance coming out of it. There are many christian testimonials on YT of people who used to teach / practice yoga, that will answer your questions.
For catholic perspective, nearly every exorcist on YT has spoken against it (shivasana - corpse pose - literally invites diabolical influence while you open up, relaxed, to these energies). Not everyone becomes possessed / obsessed, but it's still worshipping hindu gods and humming those ceremonial mantras will inevitably lead you away from the Faith.
As for somatic exercise (is that regular exercise??) Regular exercise and stretching is fine, and recommended, as we are the temple of the Holy Spirit

You may also share with them videos that explain why Catholics ask the intercession of mother Mary. Catholics actually ask for the intercession of Mary, not pray to her as if she is a goddess. To pray doesn't necessarily mean to worship but rather "request" or "ask" for help or intercession. The program "Catholic Answers" will be a great help for you. God bless you brother.

You can research online the history of both churches. In the 1st century, there was no other Christian church but the Catholic church. Orthodoxy only existed in the 2nd century after the great schism in the year 1054.

Deliverance ministry in the church does not film and promote active ministry because of the dignity of the tormented person. Movies have the imagery but they overembellish the truth - it's meant to entertain and not inform.

I wish you wouldn’t beat up on protestants that much. I’m protestant myself, but love my Catholic brothers and sisters.
I know several protestant exorcists, who have just as good as success with exorcisms as the Catholic exorcists. I will say, though that Catholicism does have the market cornered on this kind of thing. They are very very good at it and have done it for a very long time .
I was raised in a protestant family, in a very Protestant area. All my friends and family are Protestants, including my wife.
I dont beat up on Protestants, i beat up on Protestantism, and I defend the Catholic faith because it is the truth.
I came from evangelical deliverance ministry, and even though the ministers would have some success, the problematic cases were recommended to catholics (sometimes secretively, so others don't find out catholics were consulted).
Also, my new age friend when he contacted their "self realization fellowship" ministers for help, the case was severe and these ministers told him to go to catholic priest.
I have very good feelings for protestants, and am married to one. They were part of my journey to the fullness of Faith. I pray for them everyday with a big heart of love.
Orrrrrr. Just hear me out. We cast out demons in the name of Jesus. Not because you prayed a prayer or anything. It is by faith in Jesus that we do anything. Jesus even said that all of us can do what Jesus did and more if only we had faith.
You don't cite any sources in this video outside of the Bible. A lot of it sounds like hearsay.
I have read books written by and listened to talks given by, fr Gabriel Amorth, Adam blia, Fr. Ripperger, fr carlos martins and Fr. Vincent Lambert. Among others
All either exorcists themselves or involved for years in the ministry of exorcism.

Many of what he says in this video concerning exorcism is known and has been said by exorcists. The only way to spot hearsay is inconsistencies with public revelation and a number of so called testimonies and NDE videos on UA-cam are rather inconsistent. This one isn't.

Not trying to put you guys down but I disagree with the argument. I came from islam majority country. Here you will heard a lot of stories and testimonies that demons being cast out by reciting verses from quran. Question: does that make islam also truth?
Islamic exorcisms involve invoking God's name, and lower level demons can be driven out by God's name alone. However, only apostolic churches have the ability to drive out higher level demons.

Yes, this does not make these religions true, but it does allow them to cast out demons. However, only Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox priests and bishops with apostolic succession can drive out higher level demons because of the authority granted to them by Jesus.

I think Catholics underestimatethe guile of Satan. He does not mind the practice of exorcism: it strengthens people's faith in a humanistic church.
The presenter unwittingly reveals his theological ignorance by asserting that a non-Levite priest has "tools" for the task of exorcism. In Scripture, Jesus refers to this practice as sorcery. Catholics would do well to read Mt.7:21-23.
The apostles cast out demons without any tools. To attribute power to an inanimate object by muttering over it a phrase in Latin (Satan's favourite language) with gesiticulaion is sorcery, and not Christ-like.
BTW, Protestants do not attack Catholics: they attack false teachers who mislead the gullible. Jesus Himself was an evangelical Protestant: He evangelized everywhere He went, and He too protested against humanistic traditions (Mk.7:7).

You really should check out Fr. Chad Ripperger and Fr. Vincent Lampert's videos on this subject. They talk about their experiences and go into great depth about the procedure and the traits/attributes of demons.
Your bible citation doesn't even make sense. It is true that sacred and holy objects like holy water or a crucifix can be used to test a case of demonic possession and may be present during an exorcism but the demons aren't driven out with these objects. The priests have to be in a state of grace, the exorcism is done on holy ground (a church/chapel) and prayers from the Catholic rite of exorcism are used.
Latin is not a demonic language, quite the opposite. It's one of three languages (quite literally) nailed to the cross. The fact that you believe this says a lot about Satan co-opting something used by the Church for his own purpose and fooling people into believing it. Many exorcists have stated the prayers in Latin are more efficacious and that demons also hate Gregorian chants.
It's not a coincidence that the aforementioned priests can cast out them out but pastor Joe-Bob at your local reformed bapta-costal church can't. The Catholic Church has centuries of experience and the authority to do it. Protestants have neither.
