Tell me that wasn't one hell of a ride....
Perfect editing, Great video. This is the way to watch these videos. Please do more if you get the chance. I know several guys that just work on recovering and putting these trains either on ther way, Or in this case on there way to beings rebuilt or scrapped for parts. Its a fantastic job, But you have to be ready to go to work pretty fast. And at times in some pretty nasty environments.
Having worked many train derailments in 33 years on ERT the efficiency shown with this great vantage point is how ERT folks have worked with experts on team approaches to keep people safe.
Thank you so much for this very interesting and informative video, it is much appreciated by the people. A very impressive job was done here by all involved. You are worthy of the greatest respect in being able to deal with this, quickly and safely to allow the railroad to be reopened.
First-rate production. Would've like to have watched another 1/2 hour.
Wow! What an incredible undertaking!
They make cleanup look easy, awesome job!
I thought this may have been in Pike county Ohio, but I already saw it. I was born in Letcher co. KY which is close to Pike co. I have back paced in Pike co. Ohio several times too, so that was confusing! I think most states have a Pike county.
great stop animation work thank you
excellent video!
Dangerous job.Lucky one of those sidebooms didn't fall in the river.I wonder if the engineer survived?
Nice video!
Cool and the gang! Top shelf outfit they can work for me
Excelente, ^^ : ))
My guess is this recovery, and clean up project was conducted by R. J. Corman RR. CSX may be very likely to crash them, not likely to clean up the aftermath..
There were 2 companies there, Corman being one
Donahue was the other
Who do you think hired the contractors?
@@TheNemosdaddy railroads don't hire them....they're on a retainer plus extras
@@tomcander3669 Dude, I've been in the mechanical dept. for 23 years, and a manger for 10. They are NOT on retainer. It's literally my job to call them out. We pick who has the equipment and fastest response times. We pay from the time the call is made, until they return home, or in the case of another derailment, til they leave the property to go to another derailment. Corman from Toledo is a minimum 10k callout now. Plus 5k per hour on site, per division we call. So you are absolutely 100% dead wrong dude.
Wow such dangerous clean up.
Why is the river yellow?
rain
@@ThaSilentOne420 i heard of purple rain but not yellow.............
@@dennisb-trains23 Yellow rain? Isn't that what they call a Golden shower? lol
@@beaumershon3066 Shazam!! Maybe in your mind it is. Lol.
