- Welcome to The Wonders of Watercolour. This week we are painting Water Hyacinth - this is suitable for everyone as we use a learn to paint as you paint method - which means everyone can join in and we even provide you with a free outline so that you can trace the image before you start. This is so beautiful Rae. What can I use instead of the blue color. Is it an opaque finish?
Thank you. It’s semi I think. You can use cobalt or similar. Will work just as well but add plenty of water as you want to keep it nice and delicate
