Naples and Marco Island !! How Fabulous.
I live in the U.K. and have been to Florida quite a few times, but have only visited once to Marco Island 30 years ago .
Wish I had been there…maybe another time 💕
As always….thank you for all of these great tutorials. 🤩
Diane Antone of France mentioned you this morning. Said you were one of 2 UA-cam watercolorists that got her started. Where she is now is her own channel... Loved your work and your attitude for painting in watercolor.
really?? how sweet!!
❤
Just came to the seashore so I enjoyed watching you paint some seashells. Your painting turned out so beautiful. I think the long black shell is an oyster shell. We find them all the time on the New Jersey shore beach. Thanks for sharing this great tutorial, Ellen! 🎨🏖️
Both excellent teachers!
@@stones7589 absolutely 🥰
I love and appreciate your tutorials also your humor and calm demeanor! "no shell police"🤣🤣
Thanks!

Sun ray Venus clam, calico scallop, Florida fighting conch, yellow prickly cockle.
yes thats it!!
@@ellencrimitrent I think the iridescent one is a pen shell (a saltwater clam).
Very beautiful my dear friend
Thank you! Cheers!
I appreciate that you share your art and teaching techniques. Love what you do. Thank you!!!
You are so welcome!
I hope you made sure that the conchs didn’t have little beings living in them, you have to check! They are so beautiful
Ellen, you are amazing! I love your color mixing and blending the colors! I love this~

thank you!
Beautiful…I have some lunar blue I’ve been struggling to find use for so I’m going to try it out on some shells!
yay!
That one you didn't know what was, is a broken piece of abalone shell.
thank you!
Ellen I love your UA-cam tutorials. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent. I love this tutorial of the seashells especially. I’m going to give it a go to frame for my children.
Being so new to painting, I struggle with proper etiquette on signing my work. Would you mind sharing your thoughts? Do you sign in pencil or watercolor paint? When you make prints of your paintings that have been signed, do you then number each print using the same medium you signed in? I’m so afraid I’ll do this incorrectly. Am I overthinking it? Perhaps it’s personal preference.
Thank you so much again! Your paintings are beautiful!❤
I failed the first time I tried to do shells but you make me really want to try, try again. Thank you 😊
Keep trying!
Oh well, I've just checked the weather forecast for Daytona Beach FL. 28 degrees C in comparison with our 8. It's got so cold here!
I’ll definitely practice these before Cape Cod! Great video
Nice shells! Sounds like your had a good trip here in FL!
