The warriors did respond to Steph's speech... Shooting poorly doesn't change that. They took care of the ball, controller the pace, played their roles, that's the stuff that wins a game 7. If those bad shooters try to do too much and give up the ball, they don't pull ahead. If they're trying too hard to make their minutes count and not letting them feed Steph, they don't pull ahead. They played awful, but they did what they had to do as a team

Someone tell Nick to post the pre & post injury stats for Steph in 2016. Don’t worry, I have them: pre-injury, Steph was the only unanimous MVP in NBA history. Post-injury, was the entirety of the 2016 playoff run. He won’t admit that though bc Cavs get swept if Steph is healthy in 2016 [along w/ Iggy (back), & Bogut (knee)]. Thats Nicks main reason why the Warriors have won all their titles, because everyone else was injured. Staying healthy and having all your main players playing during the playoffs might be the most important part of winning a championship.

An unappreciated dimension of Steph Curry…. How he has continued to obsessively work to develop his game. Steph did not have those finishing shots in 2015-16…. He did not have those muscles. Realistically….
Almost any other player would be satisfied to have his 3 point shot, But Steph constantly works to improve his lethality, He practices those finishing circus shots the same way he practiced 3 point shots…. The same way he practices logo shots, the same way he practices half court shots. You will see him working on finishing circus shots in every pre game session. Who else does that?

The Warriors have been a championship level team the moment Klay Thompson became a 20+ point scorer and Draymond became a starter. Klay Thompson has 6 years not including this season in which he has avg.20+ points per game and all 6 years the Warriors have been to the finals.

Nah Shaq has to be on there. The Lakers aren't the team they were in the early 2000s without him. But I agree, Duncan has to be on there as well. He's wearing 5 rings and part of the reason both Kobe and Bron don't have more.
Shaq was the best player by far on a 3peat, the most dominant player ever, and an international superstar. He and Duncan both need to be in the story.
Shaq gets the edge there because he played for the Lakers and with another great in Kobe. Outside of hardcore NBA fans nobody knows who Duncan is.
