WEAK! The following 3 ebikes are 3x-5x more powerful than everything mentioned in this video, and they’re also the 3 very best e-bikes you can buy right now, for under $2000! GOAT power bikes motor goat V3 E-Cells five star e-bike Wired freedom e-bike
We hope to test at least some of those models in the near future, but it's important to keep in mind that they also greatly exceed the typical legal limits for motor wattage and speed.
the major difference between the revv1 FS and the revv1 HT is the HT comes with a 25 amp controller and the FS come with either a 30 or 35 amp controller, so the HT is gonna be noticeably slower. the HT also comes with a 15 amp hour battery while the FS is 20. just fyi i own the FS and i just bought my girl the HT so she could ride with me, and ive taken apart and put back together both bikes.
Was surprised not to see that on this list given its price and performance compared to some of the ones listed here. Even more so now that they have the F3 version that has come out!
I think when you say Conclusion, you don't just just say This wraps it up and follow us, subscribe etc. A conclusion review should have a top, we pick this as the best or second or third because of... etc. I can't really decide after seeing this video, which makes it although a nice video with lots of details, not really a video for people who want to buy something. Also would be nice to say for what regions they are available for purchase, for example I got my hopes up for the revv1 drt, and after adding stuff to cart, saw they only ship to USA and Canada. So Germany is a no go or anywhere in Europe.
Cool bikes! I also really like the fast (35-40mph) normal frame bikes like the Wired Freedom, ECells 5 star, etc. I can ride those are normal bikes more comfortably.
Awesome Video guys!, I will for sure be ordering a 60v Goat Power Bike, clearly the best bang for the buck in 2024. 45mph out of the box made it an easy decision.👍
Why do you not list the speed of the bike like that’s not information everyone wants to know? Class 1, class 2 is not a speed increment as bikes in the same class can differ top speed wise.
If anyone is wondering, it is legal. It's shipped as a class 2 ebike and has the ability to be unlocked to class 3 and offroad mode if you contact Ride1up
Would there happen to be any recommendations for a bike with a 1000w hub motor like the bafang h720? I have the Rize Bikes blade 2 which has a 1000w motor and can reach 50km/h. The thing is the design for stability on the rear motor in the way the wheel is held is very poor and has shut and broken my cables three times! So now I've lost patience with this bike and am looking for a different one.
Some of us need to know the percentage slope of these hills and how fast you were able to go throttle alone and did you have to run up or it started a dead stop... some of us folks are from cities that have hills more than flat ground.
Ty - i keep looking for something to tool around on ..obviously gas and electric both have their individual p&c but leaning toward electric, especially for quiet.. I was wondering if any of these fold for storage and transport? Thx- liked your style
I'm now leaning towards these styles of bikes rather than a traditional type of ebike for hunting. I'm thinking single speed means less wear and tear, and I would prefer to throttle in and out where I hunt. The round trip is about 2 miles with one steep hill about 500 ft long. Could you recommend a bike from this review?
I would love to get your thoughts on which brands have the strongest wheels. I note that most wheels have traditional spokes. Others have what appear to be stronger “braces” between rim and hub. Are these wheels stronger? What are the pros/cons of each style?
We don't test wheels for their strength, but spoked wheels and alloy wheels (the "braced" ones you mentioned) each have advantages and disadvantages. Alloy wheels are generally lighter, more rigid, and considered more efficient, but they are also more brittle and less able to hold up against impact. Spoked wheels, while heavier, are more flexible, resilient, and more easily repaired (spokes can be replaced). E-bike wheels with hub motors usually have thicker spokes to support the additional weight.
We did consider a segment in this video to give a nod to the Super 73. We have reviewed the Super 73 S2, you can find it on our channel, it did not perform all that great. We also have a Ride1UP Revv 1vs Super 73 S2 video on our channel you can watch as well for more details if your interested. We would 100% pick the Ride1UP Revv 1over the Super 73 every day of the week, cheaper and performs better.
Class 1=pedal assist up to 20 mph Class 2=throttle and pedal assist up to 20 mph Class 3=pedal assist up to 28 mph *bikes can be both Class 2 and 3 simultaneously.
Yep 100%, they are mostly built for throttling only. Which is why our new range test format for this style of e-bike is a throttle only range test so its more realistic for the real world.
What a waste of time. You did not even have a Goat. Maybe because its the best and supply wouldnt allow you to have one.
We should make a list of 1 dozen bikes as fast or faster than the Ride1Up 52V dual suspension. Then test all of those next 😂
Always with ideas Kevin 😂
WEAK!
The following 3 ebikes are 3x-5x more powerful than everything mentioned in this video, and they’re also the 3 very best e-bikes you can buy right now, for under $2000!

Wired freedom e-bike

Thanks for this list. I was looking more for these kind of newer bikes with more power for 2024.
Great video, would love for you guys to review the motorgoat v3 in its own video

Seems like these bikes are from last year? How about Ghostcat F2.2, it looks better then most on this list.
Was surprised not to see that on this list given its price and performance compared to some of the ones listed here. Even more so now that they have the F3 version that has come out!
I love my p51 bullet ebike
No way you guys didn’t come close. Goat V3 should be 1
Heres something i dont see anyone compiling a list of love your picks theyre always entertaining to watch
Thanks Mac!

We have not reviewed the Goat Power Bike.
Goat Bike hands down

Do you know of the revv1 is legal in California? You guys mentioned it's 750W but I believe in the website it says 1000W. I'm really interested in it
If anyone is wondering, it is legal. It's shipped as a class 2 ebike and has the ability to be unlocked to class 3 and offroad mode if you contact Ride1up
The lynx is the best looking of all of these, but my motorcycle cost the same. 😮
Yeah guys . Really nice list. Good info
Thanks Kevin!
I need a recommendation for a 5'5" 16 year old boy for first ebike throttle
Revv1
bruhhhh, nothing is made for 6'5+ riders...
OK👍🛵🏍️

What, no Motor Goat v3? It is faster and has larger battery options than your other choices (Up to 75 Amp Hour).
So, here’s a question:
1.) What is the best e-bike that has fewest repair history? Anyone? Thx in advance.
Anyone have info on the Fly ebike Leopard model moped style. Thinking of buying one. Any info appreciated. Thanks, and a thumbs up for video.

Thanks for watching! None of these bikes fold; folding bikes are kind of their own thing (we have a video for those too though!)

Wow I guess not you'd think they'd interact with there audience 😕 how steep is the hill... I'd say rev drt but the goats have more climbing power
How much more power/speed does the revv1 have compared to the Lynx? Love the look of the Lynx, but afraid it wont perform well
They're similar in power, but the Revv 1 feels a little punchier. The Lynx gets held back a little by its extra weight.
I would love to get your thoughts on which brands have the strongest wheels. I note that most wheels have traditional spokes. Others have what appear to be stronger “braces” between rim and hub. Are these wheels stronger? What are the pros/cons of each style?

don’t know much about this style of e-bikes but what about the well known super73? do they suck or something?
We did a comparison between the Super73 S2 and the Ride1Up Revv 1. The S2 did a decent job but it was outperformed in most areas.
Very helpful vids
The model J from Electric Bike Company is a super cool bike. So much fun! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
It really is!
Graffiti x Ebike
Did I miss it? Didn't say how fast (speed) the QuietKat Lynx was?
It can switch between Class 1, 2, 3, or unlimited modes.
im surprised the escape pro isnt still on the list hmmm....
What about the Super 73 the most copied ebike, i know their kinda pricey but still

Maybe because this is a "best of" list. The Super 73 makes the "what everyone can do better" list.
Why no pedal electric, or grizzly?
Man people so tough in the comments lol, thank you guys for the reviews
Thanks!
Great review! Thanks for the info
Thanks for watching!
Also what is class 1, 2, 3???
Class 1=pedal assist up to 20 mph
Class 2=throttle and pedal assist up to 20 mph
Class 3=pedal assist up to 28 mph
*bikes can be both Class 2 and 3 simultaneously.
I have a walfisk on the way🔥🔥🔥
Have yall seen the happy run g100 ?
Paint options sick but other then that I like the specs
So many missed …
Which ones?
@@ElectricBikeReporta1 pro, all Billy goat ones, ghostcat, super 73 (kinda terrible but still wroth a review)
We need the revv1 drt!
We're really looking forward to testing that one soon.
I love my EBC model J!
Right on!
moped style bikes are hard to pedal. You cannot extend your knee.
Yep 100%, they are mostly built for throttling only. Which is why our new range test format for this style of e-bike is a throttle only range test so its more realistic for the real world.
You guys make biking sound so boring. Loosen up.
don't know how old you are but most of these are cafe racer-style, mopeds from the 70s & 80s didn't look like that at all
You're absolutely right, though "moped-style" is sort of the accepted catch-all term for cafe racers, scramblers, etc.
