I feel like the swarm isnt a terrible enemy to go against, but they lack identity if that makes sense like the locust did. The locust horde had a religion, they had high generals like RAAM and Skorge, they had multiple levels of troops (drones, grenadiers, therons), they had multiple guns made they made themselves like hammerbursts and torque bows. The swarm just use everything they had as locusts, seem to have 0 high generals or any higher ranking memorable enemies, and dont use things like reavers and blood mounts. I feel like if the coalition genuinely put more effort and gave the swarm their own identity, they’d be alot better and the games would be more enjoyable
So excited for Gears E-Day, definitely looking forward to OG Delta squad too with Young Marcus and Dom, hopefully we get my favourite character back to Tai Kaliso and perhaps we’ll get lore characters like Pad or Brand, Harper etc
Maybe we'll get "Red Dead Redemption 2," level animation, really detailed and super realistic, maybe we'll get shadows, reflection, depth, height, realistic water movement, and who knows what else! Maybe we'll get a return to the linear story, with the contained world but enough distance to let you know there's a world BEYOND.
This is actually a smart move. By doing this it can allow for a semi soft reboot. Fix the story alittle bit. Gears 4 story and 5 needs work. Gears 5 was seriously just stupid. That honestly needs be redone. Being forced to kill off Dell or Jd like that. Oscar dying the way he did. I was getting Walking dead vibes. Trying to get that shock factor in. They also need to stop with the e sports maps. It made playing online boring. Especially since they reused most of the old maps. The new maps felt bland. They need to stop the tedious grinding process. They can do alot better with that. Make it more fun vs a job you arent getting paid for. Do like 200 pistol kills to unlock finishing moves. Give every character their on special 1. Give the Cog side their special one. The Locust have their own. Make special skins that actually look cool by playing the game. Not grinding the #### out of it killing your soul. No more ridiculous seriously b.s. If they are going to bring that make. Make it realistic. They have to spice it up where it doesn't feel so boring to do. They will need a ton of online maps. Make it separate. If bringing back the old ones. Separate from the new. They will need at least 30 to 50 online maps. More if they make some of the unlocks take years to get. Definitely looking forward to this.
As someone who was 16 when gears of war came out in 2006 I’m hyped for this! I had completely lost interest in the franchise but this trailer watch pitch perfect for setting the mood and themes of the game, can’t wait
Obviously very excited for this game but the relationship with Marcus and dom really makes me realize that when the day gears 6 comes I think most likely Marcus will die and I will never be ready for that.
That's why the gears franchise needs to take a final step do this make gears 6 final then go back to pendulum wars and finish the franchise then just remaster it forever improve everything make the games more realistic as the years go by or Ai will improve game graphics making gears better as time so it ages but get more Gritty as Ai improves

Carlos died during pendulum wars would be nice if they did a game on that marcus and Carlos during the pendulum wars
