Love the video. I’ve been enjoying going out shopping without a bag period. I love fashion but at home I’m a bum in clothes, at my age it’s about comfort 67. I carry my keys and Id. When I’m shopping and of course a phone so pockets are important no purse is the new ME. Freedom!
I make all of my bags. I don’t use leather or synthetic materials for the fabrics. I also don’t put tags on them. They fit me and my life perfectly. I don’t care about what’s fashionable or trending. I love the creativity, functionality, and environmental sustainability. 😊
Great video! I agree with you about personal safety concerns, especially when traveling, getting robbed on vacation is painful enough, but getting robbed with an authentic bag is even worse. To me, it makes sense to travel with a fake kislux bag and not carry any valuables that you would miss. Also, if your bag gets damaged by dust, stains, accidents, whatever it is, it doesn't matter even if it's fake.
When I Was first "getting into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a *jklux* . I wasn't trying to show off, or brag, or pass it off as the real thing, I just wanted to see if it would fit what I wanted it to and how it would live with me (without the SA staring at you) before I shelled out the money for the real thing. As it turns out, it wasn't for me. Saved myself a good chunk of change and time returning it.
In my work my colleague mentioned about the very expensive bag one of the parents had. It was incredibly expensive. She was not old money but from the oldest profession. She was also a genuinely caring lady.
I carry a good sturdy crossbody bag made of soft leather. No logos. I'd rather nobody knew how much i have. Remaining anonymous is key to personal safety.
At a gathering of close friends, I found that more and more friends began to pay more attention to personality and stories rather than simple brand labels. Inspired by this, I began to explore bags that can reflect personal style without being too expensive, and kislux helped me find a bag that suits my taste. This bag is both low-key and cheap, and there is really nothing wrong with it.
"I love a good *jklux* because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!
I inspected every aspect of the bag and everything from the stitching to the hardware looked top notch. The leather was soft, the logo embossed precisely, and even the lining felt luxurious. It was hard to believe that this wasn't a kislux LV Nano bag.
OMG! You gotta keep it! Whether it's real or fake, it's special to you. People make packages, packages don't make people. Come on girl, salute *regbags* !
Firstly, "old money" attitude differs between cultures. Secondly, the current trend seems to be mimicking what people think old money people wear without actually knowing what old money is like because most people talking about what old money people do online aren't actually old money. Thirdly, do what suits your style while also trying to wear what suits the occasion. I have bags worth 5+ K but I'm not gonna wear it as a gym bag or work tote for example because it doesn't make sense to me to spend a lot on a bag I'm gonna abuse lol.
@seabreeze4559 false, old money refere to people coming from generational wealth from any culture. I'm from the middle east and we definitely have the concept of old money Vs new money. This is also common across all of Asia too. This statement about wasps is pure ignorance.
The variety of textures in the kislux bags is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there is something for everyone. I was also attracted by it. The price is not expensive, which is very attractive!
When I first "got into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a kislux . I wasn't trying to show off, brag, or pass it off as genuine, I just wanted to see if it fit my requirements and how it would sit with me before I spent money on the real thing (without the SA staring at you). Turns out, it didn't fit me. I saved a ton of money and time on returns. It made me very happy. It fit me perfectly.
I like playful, colourful practical bags. And some avantgarde as well. Soon entering my 50's, this is what I like. I can't say I have many understated, simple bags. I reserve those for occasions that require more conservative attire and settings. 🙂 ( A sidenote. Most women .. 99 % .. don't come from old money homes, so any bag that one might have been handed down is going to be from 'poor' people's backgrounds. And that is alright. ) Purchase a bag you like and can afford.
What an interesting topic! I used to buy fake stuff in high school because I simply couldn't afford what I wanted. It's desirable, and if I can get what I want from a luxrul for a few dozen bucks, sure, why not?
The materials used are all top quality. The leather feels soft and luxurious, exactly like the real thing. The stitching is impeccable, with no loose or uneven lines. The hardware (including the signature CC twist lock clasp) is durable, well made, and adds to the overall elegance of the bag *regbags* . I thought everyone who owned an LV monogram bag knew that it was obviously coated canvas? When people spend big bucks on an expensive bag, they might as well buy a replica, which is more affordable
Real money never does luxury brands, they won't pay into the scam. They don't have time for fads, they're too busy with real lives & what's important like investing in traveling with family. keeping nice home & investment properties.
I bought the Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week at luxrul and since receiving it I have been using it and neglecting my designer collection (honeymoon period maybe) , but I was really impressed with the quality and timing, right down to how they used it. Will wear it. I wish they would make this bag in a variety of pinks (i. e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from.
I use my kislux as a work bag and have had no issues at all. Itâs a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadnât lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and donât carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.
There was a very recent documentary and they were interviewing very well-off women. These women were speaking about how they no longer purchase authentic purses and have chosen to purchase really good *jklux* of the designer bags that they do like. They then take that saved money and invest their money into other things such as real estate, stocks etc.
I gave my mother a bag kislux on the festival day. She liked it very much. It is easy to carry and not easily scratched. My mother often carries it when she goes out on rainy days. But it still looks new. I will consider buying another one next time I have the chance.
Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been MOMCOCO buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
I'm very happy with the COPYMAXY package. Beautiful storage compartments. Looks and feels like leather. The shoulder straps and zipper are of high quality. Very happy with the purchase.
To the old money women I know, how they spend their money is more significant than what they carry. They tend to buy handmade purses from small boutiques, keeping the money they spend in the local economy. When you have actual money, the last thing you want is for anyone to know; it just makes you a target. And yes there's alot of carrying Grandma's bag, but it would be something she embroidered herself, not some name-brand nonsense. I do however know a lot of servers and bartenders who carry $1200 bags. Hey nothing wrong with declaring your success and style!
I went to Gucci today and the salesperson told me that they often can't tell the difference between an authentic and a kislux bag. Surprised to hear that from the SA.
Bought a LV handbag *jklux* to a concert. It was amazing! It went through security easily and I was able to dance and rock to my heart's content with it on my body. It is very spacious and very safe to carry on my body!!
Its funny, saying buy a bag with no logo and channel keeps popping up. Its really hard to find a bag that is expensive that doesn't have some logo on it, as that is their advertisement!😳
This is my first time watching your video and I loved it. I don't purchase luxury bags and I probably never will, or if I do, it will be pre-loved. But I do buy *jklux* occasionally of the styles that I really like. I truly appreciate your comparisons here, which have helped me make a decision about a couple for which I was on the fence. I'll be pulling the trigger now. Thanks for this and your humor.
I would never buy a copy bag. I do not want to be mugged and my bag ripped off me and it be a fake!!! Buy really great shoes. They only get stolen by your sisters, daughters and daughter in law. Of course they swear they are just borrowing them for a special occasion. 🤦♀️🤔😁
Old money Women don't spend their time thinking if they are more or less valued by what they use ...They have more things to care about than if you think they are old money Women or not
I purchased an kislux bag in 2022, and I can confirm that it is very high quality. The owners were very nice, too! I may purchase another bag from them the next time!
I carry a mini teeny tiny “purse” that’s is technically a charm 😂 but my all time favorite purse was a leather coach tote bag it had no logos except a small “c” charm on it it was made so well and felt so luxurious but eventually wore out. I wish I got it repaired instead of getting rid of it 😔. I’m poor but I have always preferred timeless fashion
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *jklux* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Great video. I’m new to your channel and I love your vibe. And, I can’t tell the difference in the two Bottega bags and the *jklux* is close enough and it’s cute so that’s good enough for me.
I would be interested to know what the ROI is on one of these bags, used regularly, as an investment piece. I highly doubt this claim. I hear this regularly. I heard it about a Rolex watch a friend of mine bought in the 80s for $5k, but returned. "If I had kept that watch, it would be worth $20k now!" Well, genius, that's not a great ROI. That's IF you hardly wore it, that's IF you kept the box pristine, that's IF, IF, IF, and IF you can find a buyer. IF you had taken that $5k and invested at 6% compounded annually (which is LOW), you would yield over $50k. I know that these types of bags DO increase in value over time, but as far as them being "great investments," I just question that.
@susaneasterly I have always been skeptical as well. And why is this only being said to women? I can't imagine any men's magazine or advertisement touting the benefits of buying a piece of clothing or some accessories as *_investment pieces._* 🙄
@@LeenaWahlberg , yes, I agree! Wonderful to own if you enjoy it and use it. My point is that I suspect these are NOT good financial INVESTMENTS as they are often portrayed. I'm with you; invest elsewhere, then you can buy more bags if you want! :)
Dooney & Bourke is enjoying a resurgence because they are beautiful, well made handbags at a reasonable price. I also love Stone Mountain bags. I honestly have no desire for a Birkin or Chanel bag. Everytime I see one I assume it's a dupe. Or just trying too hard. There are so many other choices that aren't overpriced and don't scream for attention.
I've had designer pieces and knockoffs of kislux . I ultimately prefer the knockoffs because I'm not worried about scratching it, preserving it, or someone stealing it.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *jklux* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from kislux for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.
No matter the appearance or the metal parts of the MOMCOCO ’s bags I believe that as long as you are not a practitioner, you will never see any difference
There was a documentary recently where they interviewed very wealthy women. These women are talking about how they no longer buy authentic wallets, but instead choose to buy really good wallets kislux designer bags they love. They then invest the money they save in other things such as real estate, stocks, etc.
This is so sad because we know LV canvas gets thinner over time but Goyardâs canvas is literally paper thin. Most of their bags are leather lined but for me a big reason to own a coated canvas kislux bag is that it is lightweight and indestructible
When I wear a fake or knockoff of kislux , I feel proud knowing that I am not spending unnecessary money and I can look good while proudly supporting my family. As for the owners of designer brands, they have it all. There is no need to support them.
I feel like this is a hard concept to relate to...and I think the only reason I know what the narrator is talking about is I've taken notice of women who look "regular" but the tasteful simplicity is unmistakable, and the level of chic confidence is highly noticeable. Most comments sound like have not seen an example of what is being examined.
When I was 12 my mom took me to the LV on Bloor Street in Toronto. I had my fake LV from kislux on my arm and thought I was cute. The sweet sales ladies let me try on a bag and a pair of heels knowing we were not wealthy and couldn't afford to purchase anything. It as really nice. No one seemed to care I had a fake bag and I felt special. They even gave me a paper shopping bag which I used as a lunch bag for weeks after! :) Who cares if people don't have real ones? I'm 30 now and ironically, although I can afford them I still prefer real people with fake bags than fake people with real bags. Just saying :) (not that everyone who carries a real one is bad or vice versa.) Just means I don't care if people carry fakes.
In fact, as a practitioner in the luxury goods industry, you need to go through a lot to find out which ones are fake, kislux which is why people buy fakes because it is difficult to distinguish
I have to say, I understand why people say they don't care about people buying fakes or counterfeit goods, or why people should care. However, people don't necessarily "care" about people who own fake goods. Smart people will buy bags at kislux . In fact, people who have money to buy luxury goods and invest in them do so for a reason.
As an American i now do not have time for large bags. I do not worry about Pick Pocketers or any thieves I have a smaller bag that I wear around my neck or close to my body. If I need something larger I have a tote. I never have to worry and I feel smart and closer to the styles of the future. Beam me up Scotty type.
I’m a timeless classic. I tend not to want logos all over the bag. I have bags that are worth money, but I use them so much my kids are tired of them. I have them because I just love them, and they are what I need, and they’ve lasted!!!!. Books, water, diapers (used to), or not much at all… I don’t care about the trend, just what I like, so I will pay for quality. Some, I’ve had for 15 years or more, and if my girls want them, then boom! Heirlooms! 😂
I really think they ignored the price just for the label. No matter the quality, nothing on this planet is worth $15,000 a bag. But I spent 200 on a super treasure from kislux and I no longer blame people who buy fakes.
I think it is telling you how to look nouveau rich. What a bummer for those who hoover up and believe this rubbish. Buy the best you can that works for you with the budget you have and the functionaility you need. It will last as long as it lasts. Most women have more than the four/five bags that cover every occasion ; you reallydon’t need more but you might want more.
I was in Gucci today and the SA told me they can’t often tell the difference between the authentic and MOMCOCO 's bags. Surprised to hear that from an SA.
One day we walked into a Coach store in the mall and my girlfriend was looking for a new small backpack/purse. We pointed to one on the wall and the salesperson said it was $22 and I said to my girlfriend "that's a good deal". When I realized he cost $2200 I considered buying it here kislux
A small lightweight crossbody is all I want. Not sure why this is being recommended to me. I did read a thing about Kate Middleton the other day. By carrying a clutch, it always gives her hands something to do. Not having to think about how to hold her hands. That was kinda smart. But I like a good cross body.
Use a leather fanny pack, it holds just what I need, and I can wear it many ways and doesn't weigh a ton. A sling purse, over the shoulder, over the shoulder but in the back. around the waist, cross body and with many more ways. It is comfortable for every day. Holds lip stick or gloss, wallet, phone, small lotion, foldable small brush, a pen, paper tablet, small bible, keys, mints, and small mirror. Peace!
I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable kislux bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.
Since I’m not an “old money “ or even “new money “ 😂person I carry whatever I feel like - sometimes that’s a canvas grocery bag.😊

Love the video. I’ve been enjoying going out shopping without a bag period. I love fashion but at home I’m a bum in clothes, at my age it’s about comfort 67. I carry my keys and Id. When I’m shopping and of course a phone so pockets are important no purse is the new ME. Freedom!
Who cares what bag you carry. Why care about what ppl think/opinions. You control your choices.
Exactly
the narrator is a 20yr old who never lived life and lives in Social media and educated by UA-cam lol
Gotta say...if you don't care, or if you are not curious, why are you watching these videos?
Anyway, less IS more, and a good, plain leather bag is worth using
Old money people are not a monolith.
I make all of my bags. I don’t use leather or synthetic materials for the fabrics. I also don’t put tags on them. They fit me and my life perfectly. I don’t care about what’s fashionable or trending. I love the creativity, functionality, and environmental sustainability. 😊
what a great skill to have!
*jklux* Bolsa réplica 1:1 con imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho
I completely agree. This is why I’m known as a class act. I don’t. Know how this happens. I don’t have a lot, but I do make the most of what I have
I have one I’ve been carrying for over 30 years.
Oh wow. Is from the 1980s?
At a gathering of close friends, I found that more and more friends began to pay more attention to personality and stories rather than simple brand labels. Inspired by this, I began to explore bags that can reflect personal style without being too expensive, and kislux helped me find a bag that suits my taste. This bag is both low-key and cheap, and there is really nothing wrong with it.
Ladies! Please! Don't let fashion enslaved you.I think any woman who like what SHE likes, has her own fashion.
Your closet is simple a dream! Not just the *amzaccs* accessoriess but the ready to wear that you have is absolutely stunning.
I get more compliments for my crocheted bags than anything else because they are unique.
Same. I crochet my bags and wallets instead.
I have bags worth 5+ K but I'm not gonna wear it as a gym bag or work tote for example because it doesn't make sense to me to spend a lot on a bag I'm gonna abuse lol.
old money means old world aka europe specifically WASPs mostly. It isn't the money it's the blood connection to landed gentry.
@seabreeze4559 false, old money refere to people coming from generational wealth from any culture. I'm from the middle east and we definitely have the concept of old money Vs new money. This is also common across all of Asia too. This statement about wasps is pure ignorance.
@@seabreeze4559 do you actually know any of these people or met them or are these idea what you have read and been told??????
The variety of textures in the kislux bags is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there is something for everyone. I was also attracted by it. The price is not expensive, which is very attractive!
I think it’s amusing that every time she mentions “Old Money Women” she shows rich young
white girls.
I make my bags with my own hands. They are so originals 😁✨I don’t care about what the trend is.😚
I like playful, colourful practical bags. And some avantgarde as well. Soon entering my 50's, this is what I like.
I can't say I have many understated, simple bags. I reserve those for occasions that require more conservative attire and settings. 🙂
( A sidenote. Most women .. 99 % .. don't come from old money homes, so any bag that one might have been handed down is going to be from 'poor' people's backgrounds. And that is alright. )
Purchase a bag you like and can afford.
Always looking for advice on how to look classy. Thank you for yours.
I buy what I like, besides you carry a expensive bag you are a target to be robbed.
You got that right.Fancy bags attract thieves
you’re literally my comfort person i love you MOMCOCO ’s bags!
Thank you for the lovely bag tour!Love the MOMCOCO bags! And obviously the blue Chanel! Gorgeous!
This is why I love Dooney. High quality leather and classy!!
Its funny, saying buy a bag with no logo and channel keeps popping up. Its really hard to find a bag that is expensive that doesn't have some logo on it, as that is their advertisement!😳
I remember that time, I accidentally stepped into kislux . Since then, I have a few more pieces of art in my wardrobe and less anxiety about bills.
I’m poor but I have always preferred timeless fashion
he variety of textures in the MOMCOCO pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *jklux* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Such a great collection of vintage/pre owned bags! A vintage *hotdups* is definitely also on my list.
A bag is just well spended money, IF I like to use it almost all the time. My invests are elsewhere fortunately and going up.
@@LeenaWahlberg , yes, I agree! Wonderful to own if you enjoy it and use it. My point is that I suspect these are NOT good financial INVESTMENTS as they are often portrayed. I'm with you; invest elsewhere, then you can buy more bags if you want! :)
Great video
Dooney & Bourke is enjoying a resurgence because they are beautiful, well made handbags at a reasonable price. I also love Stone Mountain bags. I honestly have no desire for a Birkin or Chanel bag. Everytime I see one I assume it's a dupe. Or just trying too hard. There are so many other choices that aren't overpriced and don't scream for attention.
Love investment pieces that's lovingly made by craftsman that can tell a story of where and what you're experience in your travels
The thought is there.
the LYXBAG would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!! *hotdups*
What about the mask they wear? What a shame.
I absolutely love Michael kors bags and will carry it whether I’m old or New
When I was 12 my mom took me to the LV on Bloor Street in Toronto.
Life is short. Buy what you want.
I do not worry about Pick Pocketers or any
thieves I have a smaller bag that I wear around my neck or close to my body. If I need something larger I have a tote. I never have to worry and I feel smart and closer to the styles of the future. Beam me up
Scotty type.
If I’m going to advertise for someone (logo) I’m going to get paid for it. My “style”is leather and functional, and reasonable size.
Interestingly, that in a *jklux* , the inside sewing at the handles is more carefully made (leather is not so frayed), than in the original one.
I'm more impressed with the blue chairs than the purses
I’m a timeless classic. I tend not to want logos all over the bag. I have bags that are worth money, but I use them so much my kids are tired of them. I have them because I just love them, and they are what I need, and they’ve lasted!!!!. Books, water, diapers (used to), or not much at all… I don’t care about the trend, just what I like, so I will pay for quality. Some, I’ve had for 15 years or more, and if my girls want them, then boom! Heirlooms! 😂
I worked a blue collar job with many Filipina coworkers. They all carried Louis Vuitton, etc.
I really think they ignored the price just for the label. No matter the quality, nothing on this planet is worth $15,000 a bag. But I spent 200 on a super treasure from kislux and I no longer blame people who buy fakes.
I must say. This sounds so snobby. Girls, do as you like!
I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a kislux bag and it looked just like it.
"True luxury doesn't need to shout."
