I suppose the port studio should be complemented for bringing a solid version of the game to PSVR 2. Just a shame the game itself wasn't great.
Any word on whether this is 90Hz or using reprojection?
Unfortunate this didn't turn out better. That being said, I give props to the developers for actually getting on PSVR2. SO many good PSVR1 titles have seemingly been forgotten.
How are games like this being updated for PSVR2 when we're still missing great games like Superhot and Audica?

I don’t regret PSVR 2 because I have Gran Turismo and Synth Riders, BUT stuff like this is so frustrating when the system needs quality over quantity.
There seems to be no possibility of this situation changing unless the total sales of VR2 exceed 10 million units...

It's games like this that cause a man to need a break. Fun Train is becoming a most avoid developer , at least for me. They seem to do bare minimum on their ports yet give no upgrade path. For weeks they have promoted Tarzan for meta quest at $9.99 , which it's not worth that but charge us double for the garbage.
My hits should register Fun Train! Damnit!

What a shame. Another bites the dust. Perhaps, though, this is a good opportunity to do a "Top 10 PSVR to PSVR2 Port" list.
Was anyone really surprised though? I skipped straight to the end and my only surprise was that it got a score higher than 2.
Always dig a PSVR2 without Parole Review coming out. ❤
If they at least improved the AI of the enemies and the sound of the game it could be worth it, but as it is it's complicated.

It's time to sell my psvr2, such garbage games...
Except from very few misses, most games have been pretty great do far. If you expected a lot of AAAs sorry to tell you, but you needed to have more realistic expectations and done your research before spending 550$ on a headset. Companies are profit driven and lack vision, so as long as VR isn't adopted by more people they aren't going to invest in it as much
@@justonepant I just hoped they would release games like they did for VR1, e.g. Hitman, Skyrim, Star Wars Squadrons. RE is fine, but already played them, the other games are garbage IMO. I don't think it is worth to keep a 500$ device to replay only these games.
@@zv8035 It's only been one year, we might see games like that, and big releases are also announced and coming. They were awesome, but in the current state that the industry is in, along with the aggressive exclusivity model of each platform, i wouldn't bet on seeing too many big releases
zv, You can use your top notch PSVR2 ❤ headset to play pc VR games "if" according to "YOU" there is nothing worth playing on Ps5 LoL - Bahemoth, Alien-Ri, ExoCars, Aces of Thunder. All VR is still trying to get passed the starting phases which will take longer until all headsets have DFR standardization so high graphical games can be made easier with Eyetracked-Foveated-Rendering(DFR). Until DFR is standardised on ALL headsets we are ALL suffering waiting for the good VR stuff. Good luck.

Regarding the punches, are you sure this isnt a case like Legendary Tales where your hits need to be landed more forcefully and precisely? I dont blame you since you have a very limited playspace, but its something to consider at least. Also cheesing the boss only offers a lesser experience for you. What im saying is that yes, the game should have been programmed better in those instances, but part of the lacking overall experience described could be partly attributed to your own choices.

@@twitcherthesingleplayergamecat God forbid anyone offers feedback and things to consider to someone who's job is to offer as much of an objective, non biased critique of a game as possible. If people view this as complaining, it's on them. I'm genuinely trying to help.
@@justonepant that's fair, but Bryan pointing out that the boss *can* be cheesed is also a fair part of an objective, non-biased review.
@@twitcherthesingleplayergamecat I'm not saying that it shouldn't be mentioned at all. The lacklustre ai was already mentioned after all throughout the entire review, and it's a flaw that takes away from the immersion. But actively going out of your way to break it won't make you any favor either. If he wanted to skip the bossfight because he didn't want to play the game in the first place it's fine, but you can't really get the fullest of what this experience has to offer when you're actively trying to ruin it for yourself. See Wes' review for stride fates for example, he had a blast exactly because he played the game as intended and didn't try to break it by holding out the bat.
All in all, i'm not saying these games are flawless. They do, and they should be addressed. But it's also important to point out that in cases like those, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
Let me know what you think after you play it. This ain't my first rodeo, so I feel confident I depicted the game accurately! :D
