U dont have to be a country music fan to be a Travis Tritt fan, this guy is one of the coolest, most genuine people out there. If u havent heard his music give it a shot, I think u would be pleasantly surprised how great it is
Dude he is speaking Theo's language. I love this so much.
Love the vids Grady!
Hell yeah
Grady needs to go on the podcast no doubt about it
Yep - 25:00 .. etc. Outlaws
I thought you was santino for a sec ⛑
Worked 2 of Travis's shows as a tech, this guy is the real deal when it comes to playing live. His crew are amazing to work with, their work ethic and charm made the shows amazing.
If you love old school country but like to still rock out, it's a perfect show to see.
Songs like 'Trouble' are energetic and fun, but then he also plays a solo slow balad on acoustic that brings you chills.
A real living legend, wonderful spirit.
His voice aged so well, he surprised everyone at the show with his vocal capabilities and finger picking.
Go see him live, it's worth every dime and more.
I commented this above but I’ll say it again: If aliens ever land and want to know what a country music singer sounds like, Travis Tritt is the first dude I’m showing em 🔥
Saw him live in a little 100 seat bar in calif and he burned that place to the ground . Played 4 hrs and he can rock as hard as he’s country . Best concert I’ve ever been to . Ty Travis
Heck yeah! I discovered him/his music through the Theo Von podcast (i'm from Holland so we don't know country here). WHAT A GREAT ARTIST, singer and his guitar playing is insane. The live show is just amazing he sings so clear and clean and has great stage presence. That must have been great to work at his show sir! Lucky you.
Long haired country boy Alive and Kicking. And they only mention brad prasly's g bending
this is cool to read. I still come across people saying a lot of junk about Travis Tritt. He seems like a really awesome guy. He's my country hero above all else.
Travis Tritt looks like the type of dude that would sell you a '97 Honda Civic at a fair price and throw in a Dairy Queen coupon.
“Travis I was going to buy this civic regardless but the DQ coupon is the cherry on top my blizzard. By golly I’ll take it.”
😆
🤣🤣🤣🤣
my car is a 97 Honda Civic and it’s very reliable
That's the joke Theo would tell about Travis... Plus maybe one about that toupee
Travis Tritt looks like Alex Jones doing a David Spades impersonation
THAAAAAT'S what it is!!!
Hahahahhahahahahahhahahah......I can't unsee it, hilarious 😂 🤣 😆
😂
Lololol
That's beyond hilarious

He did not write that song.
Get out of here 🤣😂 just found you the other day from Greg!
only theo would call a country legends daughter "Shawty" in front of him lmaoooo. i love theo
Theo Von and Travis Tritt. Heavy hitters!!!
Gang gang daddy
Love the Blackberry Smoke reference! They killing it!!!!
Yesssssir bout to grow me a mullet!
Gang gang 👍💯
God damn I'd at the very least seriously consider killing to be a fly on the wall during this session! I've been a big Travis Tritt fan my whole adult life and a Theo Von fan for just a few years now but damn it'd be too damn cool to hanging out with these cool cats!
“His give a shitter was totally broken” Travis Tritt on Whalen’s God like influence
Waylon** I hate to be that guy but he's a legend lol
That's a crazy way to spell Waylon. Lol.
Unless he's joking about morgan lol
If David Spade and Chelcie Lynn were related, Travis Tritt would be their brother. Gang.

Holy shit. Nice.
I like the way your brain works lmfao
nah man its haley joel osment and joe exotic
That Waylon story gave me chills. Rip to the outlaw.
Travis tritt and Theo is a dynamic duo
My two favorites of all time
Never in a million years could I even have dreamed this up.
If only Dad and Gramps were still here to watch it with me.

Dude....your grandpa changed my life..forever🙏
@@normanb3673 wait ...is that really smedley?
Theo talking about wanting people to remember him, and wanting people to come back to see him, was 100% perfectly put... and he definitely succeeded... i have seen him live twice, and after leaving, it was a little difficult to recall specific jokes that hed just done, but i was totally sure that i will pay to see him any and every chance that i get... he is just such a special performer, and person in general....
also, that "you like gettin hit by rice, huh" line was fucking genius.... haha
I have seen Travis several times, but it's good to see him sitting down with somebody, just shooting the shit. Theo is actually becoming one of the best interviewers out there. And, he's picking some hitters.
Aaahh 90's country.
90's music.
90's life. ❤
Travis is a legend in country music. What a great guest
So cool that Theo was able do do this. Travis has never did anything like this so its just awesome 💪also theo literally threw so many low key somg references in this you would have to really know his music like me to get it but he did it like 20 times LMFAO 🤣
Truth. My newspaper recently tried to get an interview with him and the response was "Travis doesn't do interviews." Apparently Theo hit the jackpot by getting TT to do this.
Its always great when the guest doesnt hold back and actually laughs at theo's jokes. Another great guest.
Yes! I loved watching him sincerely crack up at Theo's jokes! 😂
I have met a few country music singers from that time, they all seem down to earth. Millionaires who still care about the people
Fortunately Theo carried more of a real conversation here, rather than pushing too hard with the one liners. It's a fine line with Theo.
Travis Tritt out here looking like that unsure lesbian still eyeing dudes at the bar.
You have to dominate the swordfish... Only then can you sauté it!
Hey soup face! You're offending my tokyokin guest.
Hahaha haha 😂
🤣 Omg
@@guymetdrapedes220 Are you familiar with Japanese Albino hunting?
I love that you wouldn't let the world change you, or your country accent. As someone who has spent a lot of time trying to run from that myself, I felt that sentence in the deepest part of my soul!!!
Theo my mother died in 2014 and her favourite artist was Travis Tritt, so I just want to thank you for this brother X
Theo went from Lil Boosie to Travis Tritt.
That’s gang shit. Love y’all
Those down south hitters

I really wanna see him get BFB da Packman on here. Two hilarious people
Only Theo could combine the words archipelago with arpeggio, and still somehow make it the perfect way to describe someone.

The gulag arpeggio lol 😂

Being from the UK I've never heard of this guy but what a great conversation that was to listen to.
90s Travis Tritt was the soundtrack of my childhood. Hanging out in the garage with my dad listening to the radio in georgia it was on all the time.
Mine, too, growing up in Texas. His voice feels like a warm hug to me.
Same here, Georgia also. May I ask what part if Georgia? I'm south, Tifton ga.

I'm taking a break from this podcast to go listen to some Travis classics..
I got rice cooking in the microwave
Here's a quarter tell someone who cares
Yeah I did that
heck yeah!
Travis has one of those laughs man, wish I could have a beer with him. His music reminds me of cruising the back country roads with my friends sharing a case of natty light.
All these country stars theo is having on, at this point he's the country music podcast whisperer. Bille Ray Cyrus has to come on. Theo is basically the lost Cyrus kid.
Morgan Wallen and Kane Brown ain’t country😂
Funny story, when I wa growing my hair out some racist kid started a fight with me at a bar and called me Billy Ray Cyrus. I legitimately stopped, confused. I didn't have a mullet. Took me a sec to realize he only knew him as Miley Cyrus's dad. Then he asked me if I thought I was tough cause I could grow a beard 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And an MMA podcast lol. Love Theo
Billy Ray had a baby with a touch of DS and didnt have the time to give him the support he would need. That's how we got theo.
@@maysonhammon1041 well not as country as I prefer, but more country then most still.
Theo, having Travis tritt on for a southern boy is like taking me to meet Jesus 😂 this is surreal thank you man and awesome interview. He raised me threw his music

This is one of the best interviews I've ever seen of a big musician, bar none. Go Theo!!

Theo lookin' like the Tom Brady of a black market rugby league
Mr. Tritt is looking a whole lot like the lion from The Wizard of Oz.

😭
I’ve seen him in concert once. The man played in the rain the whole time. Soaked. I truly believe when he says I come out to give the absolute best performance.
Having grown up in rural Illinois, I really appreciate these southern guests. Their way of interaction is friendly and buttery smooth, reminds me of growing up. Keep er going Theo!

Noticed that when Travis was talking about country music being the greatest genre of music for story telling, he added “back then” to his statement. He’s absolutely right. He knows that today’s country music is shit.
Lol i wonder if he listens to any new music and what genre
@@A6Legit idk but anything after about Garth Brooks is about unlistenable as far as country music goes. Like Bocephus said, all they sing about is making love to their drummer...

This just became my favorite podcast episode I've ever seen!!! When Theo and Travis were talking about music being "the soundtrack of our lives" man they couldnt have hit the nail more on the head!! Travis's "Great day to be alive" and "I'm gonna be somebody" bring back such vivid memories for me at various points in my life and I can't help but smile. Plus Theo hitting us with Tim McGraws "please don't take the girl" got me and a bunch of other "hardass construction workers" trying not to get choked up over that song!! Lol gang gang son!! Thank u Theo for getting such an amazing musician and an amazing dude on the show, Travis is the coolest every day of the week and 2x on sunday!!
Man! Travis Tritt takes me back to my childhood in SC riding in my dads old Chevy truck. Real good memories and a much better, simpler time. Nice job Theo!! Gang Gang!
Theo is like the brother you wish you had but you have now! What a blessing ♥️🇨🇦 we all adore you Theo!
I followed Travis Tritt because of this ep. He had so many genuine laughs! I hope he's a repeat guest.
Theo got real excited when they talked about clocking out and being someone else. Time to reconnect with nature!
Speaking of Marcus King and Chris Stapleton, they should be on the podcast.
either of them would be great
I was so happy the second I saw this podcast. Travis Tritt was one of my mom’s favorite artists when I was growing up. So I obviously had to click. But they had such a good chemistry throughout the whole show. I really love watching Theo click with all these different walks of life. From truckers, to mall Santa’s, to big name artists. I’m really enjoying his newer content. You can just tell how comfortable he feels with all these guests.
I listen to Tritt classics every morning on my drive to work. His music is lifting. ☀️😄
He's all over my "cruising with the pup in my farm truck" playlist. 😁
“Somebody leaked my music at Wal Mart. I don’t even shop at Wal Mart”
I made my Dad a fan of this interview today. He never listened to Theo before but Travis was his favorite artist. Theo is really just a great guy.

I love this conversation between Theo and Haley Joel Osment cosplaying as Joe Exotic. my 3 favourite guys in one place at the same time
Theo bringing the heavy hitters. I noticed Theo is getting a lot better at these podcasts. He is really vibing with his guests and relating to them more Makes these podcasts flow like he's talking to his best friend.
I love listening to Travis laugh at Theo! I wonder if he knew much about his style of comedy before this podcast
I’m 20 minutes in and this is has been one of my top 10 interview ever....
Great questions and great answers.........
I guess it’s just a great conversation, I’m glad to be a fly on the wall.
Speaking of Waylon, good ol Struggle Jennings would be a hitter on here.
Yess - Linda Ronstandt never got the props and recognition for how talented and prolific she was! People in the business, around her, knew she was insanely gifted, but there were so many music fans that ‘slept’ on her and all she was as an artist. Linda Ronstandt was a beautiful soul and an amazing talent!
This episode was a lot of fun. Travis Tritt had a great chemistry with Theo.
How happy I am for Theo. Worked at his craft for so long, somehow never ever gave up. Got noticed by Rogan for being a gem, never looked back. Now he's having conversations with huge stars that he is actually interested in. I love it. Gang. One Love
I can now sleep peacefully at night knowing that Travis Tritt does a perfect “Larry the Cable Guy” impression.
Great stuff. Just discovered Travis a couple years ago and I love him. I bet he's never laughed this hard in an interview before. Great job Theo.
Theo, man...a solid guest and interview. He was blasting the airwaves back when I was going to Little League games in the mid 90’s.
He’s an amazing guitarist, too. Watch his acoustic live videos.
I'm not even a country fan, but Travis Tritts music, and accompanying videos, were absolutely incredibly in the 90s.
Cody Jinks would be a great conversation!
Damn Theo’s mullet on point today 🤣🤣
I love this conversation. Travis's laughter is so genuine. Good for the soul
What a great man, my dad and I still jam out to Travis. Some of the best parties and times in my life was listening to Travis Tritt. Thanks Theo for having him on and letting people know the man behind the music.

Hey Theo! Your comment about wanting people to come and see you for you and not for your jokes resonates with me. I found your podcast and have been listening almost non stop- not because of your guests, but because of you! You are so vulnerable but with just enough humor to keep it from being too cheesy. Jerry Clower was an amazing story teller. I just randomly met him in the Greenville Spartanburg airport as I was going to my first assignment in the Air Force. I was in the gift shop and I saw him looking at magazines. I whispered to my Mom "Is that Jerry Clowers?" she whispered back "I think so." I went over and a quiet voice and in a questioning way said "Mr. Clowers?". He looked around and say hello to me. I told him I was a huge fan, which I had listened to him all my childhood. He smile and pulled out a business card and autographed it for me. I said thank you and we parted ways. He had a small animal crate with a tiny beagle in it. Nice guy.
