TBH I like the south facing one more, as it was really huge and had a pool also. But the first one is also good, the kitchen is amazing. Wish them best of luck on their purchase
Lovely couple! Amazing what $400-$450 buys in some places. In many capitol cities like Sydney or Toronto you would be lucky to get a run down shoe box in a remote and unappealing suburb. I thought it was going to be No 3 for sure, as well but the privacy issue/grounds counted for them, and apparently the appeal of the kitchen in the first - which I didn't get because I dislike dark kitchens intensely .... but, wasn't that the house where the 4th bedroom was a laundry, and no finished basement??? Still - it also had the kerb appeal.
Toronto is not a capital. And these people were not looking in capital city either. Cities definitely range in price, get more in Buffalo where they are then more big important cities like a capital.
Awesome couple and not witchcraft it's called religion . Hindu is a religion which has it's own traditional aspects just because something is not your norm does not mean it is witchcraft . Educate yourself before making unfounded comments.
south facing door has to do with the amount of sunlight the house gets. East Facing doors are the best. but thats for asian houses ,not sure if it applies to american homes.
I'm Hindu, I don't believe any of these thing, but according to my mom, the direction South is the home of the God of death(Yamaraj), therefore entrance in the south is a bad omen, and whilst sleeping the headboard shouldn't be towards South. Entrance and sleeping in that direction meaning you're inviting the death God into your house. 😬😬
I personally believe in fengshui. And I found this about Indian beliefs; South facing door brings in sharp energy which disturbs positive energy field of the house. Door here means a highly active social life. Some times it may bring in arguments or disagreements.
South facing is also considered as a good one, but not auspicious. East facing house is considered more auspicious as it let's in enter more light into the house. North facing is considered as bad tho, but south is also better
@@missmarcicolettle78 why? As long as her husband is happy to accept that part. You can marry outside your culture and respect each others traditions. Shocking I know.
I don't care how ancient they are, I hate superstitions. They are limiting and always based on fear. You can call them 'traditions' if you want, but we're in a new millennium. Some of that stuff needs to go. Especially when they impede choice.
Living in a haunted house can be soul destroying. I've worked in a haunted nursing home, and also there are loads of native American burial grounds in America, where they've build house upon. Personally, I'd cleans my house if I were to buy a home in America. And I've also been touched by a spirit
Traditions are so beautiful. Add mystery, uniqueness and memories to life
From 450 to 400 that was a GREAT Deal. Your home is your Castle so It is their call if they do not want the house to face South. I love that kitchen.

Nice couple, they compliment each other

Who else thought house 3 was gonna be chose...?
Me but the price on the first 1 is everything
Neihbors are way too close and open in the 3rd. Also a problem in the 1st but not as huge.
Hence why I loved the second. Privacy is everything.
wow. That 1st house now in 2024 is probably $950k. Everything is nuts now
The South facing door issue is similar to Fung Shi with the East facing door.
*Fengshui :) east facing doors are the best!
@@candyalyssa yup👍
Sounds is screwy about 1/2 way thru.
I preferred the second home. Pool and private, 4 bedrooms, and just needed cosmetic fixing.

Love the curb appeal in House 1

Actually it's related to earth's magnetic field and aligning our body's magnetic field to it

Why does it have to be about her family, her family, her mom? Are they going to pay for the house?

Your Boo's Boo people are entitled to their beliefs, even if they contradict yours
The superstition was her mum's wish, so it's more about respecting the beliefs of our parents which is a very common Asian thing. ☺️

Feng shui is also a thing, like with the door, and it's looked upon at being a hip thing nowadays.
