The UK has India's Kohinoor and it refuses to give it back. It is one of the world's largest cut diamonds. The United Kingdom knows that the Kohinoor can land it in an awkward position. That's why it won't be used in the coronation of king Charles and his wife Camila this May. Why? What does this mean? Join Palki Sharma as she connects the dots.

@@Viking0070 We are talking about British here, Who also stole lands of Dalits (the forest people) which are mostly forest and used them as slaves for their opioid plantation, which is the primary reason why these people had to complete with City and Village dwellers for jobs, so have some sense and don't compare Indians with that monsters. Then it was taken by Persian invader sher shah, who named it Kohinoor. And later Ranjit Singh of sikh empire took it. The British took it from his son, as a "gift". Not just British THIEVERY from Indian.
But also British THIEVERY from Africa.
British companies now control Africa’s key mineral resources focusing on key minerals and metals such as gold, platinum, diamonds, copper, oil, gas and coal. 101 companies have mining operations in 37 sub-Saharan African countries. These companies, which are mainly British, now control an identified $1.05 trillion worth of resources in Africa in just five commodities - oil, gold, diamonds, coal and platinum. Of the 101 LSE-listed companies, one quarter are incorporated in tax havens. A determination to plunder the natural resources of Africa is taking place, with the active support of the British government; this is contributing significantly to a net drain of resources from Africa, already the world’s poorest continent.

We may have to go back in time, turn to monarchy to identify and return it to real owner as sub continent of India had many rulers or kings.
The early legends of the diamond is that it was mined in the middle ages during the Kakatiya dynasty at the Kollur Mine,[16][17] a series of 4-metre (13 ft) deep gravel-clay pits on the south bank of the Krishna River in present-day Andhra Pradesh, India.[18][11] It was said to have been fixed as the left eye of the murti of the Hindu goddess Bhadrakali in the Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal by the Kakatiya dynasty who regarded the deity as their kuldevi.[19][20] Babur, the Turco-Mongol founder of the Mughal Empire, wrote about a "famous" diamond that weighed just over 187 old carats - approximately the size of the 186-carat Koh-i-Noor.[21][22] According to his diary it was acquired by Alauddin Khalji of the Khalji dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate, when he invaded the kingdoms of southern India at the beginning of the 14th century and looted it from the Kakatiyas.[23] It later passed on to succeeding dynasties of the Sultanate, and Babur received the diamond in 1526 as a tribute for his conquest of Delhi and Agra at the Battle of Panipat. However, 👉it is impossible to verify these details exactly about when or where it was found, and many competing theories exist as to its👉 original owner.

The Chola-Chalukya Wars were a series of battles that were fought from 992 CE to 1120 CE between the Chola Empire and the Western Chalukya Empire in what is now South India. Most of these conflicts were initiated by the Western Chalukyas who were defeated by the Cholas and forced to return to their capital. These recurring conflicts eventually exhausted as both empire, straining their manpower and material, were left vulnerable to other enemies. More than 1,000,000 people were killed due to direct or indirect consequences of the war.

      By Natalie Woodward
      July 30, 2020
The Koh-i-Noor Diamond is a 186 carat diamond with a curse affecting only men. According to folklore, a Hindu description of the diamond warns that “he who owns this diamond will own the world, but will also know all its misfortunes. Only God or woman can wear it with impunity.”
Throughout history, the gem traded hands among various Hindu, Mongolian, Persian, Afghan and Sikh rulers, who fought bitter and bloody conflicts to own it. Every prince who was in possession of the diamond would ultimately lose his power if not his life. For over 500 years the stone changed hands in gruesome battles and vicious coups.

Palki it's better that the Kohinoor stay always in Britain because if it comes back to India knowing modi and how he is selling India part by part to Adani and Ambani, he will not think for a second about selling it to Adani as long as Adani pumps tens of billions into the BJPs election campaign. By the way India should stop dreaming of the Kohinoor ever coming back, it will NEVER EVER come back to India, anyway there are thousands of other issues that the govt and the citizens should be thinking about instead of this showpiece.

The Kohinoor when taken out of the ground for the 1st time from south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, was 700 something carat, today it's just around 104 carat. But still the most valuable. How much they've damaged Indian things.

With how the #UK still won't give a defined date and time for the #UK to return the Kohinoor to #India, IMO, as part of further decolonization, #India should also end the practice of driving on the left side of the road to match most continental countries directly and indirectly land-linked to #India (including #India's strategic and ally countries) such as #Canada (including Hans Island land border with #Denmark since June 2022), #EU (including #Denmark, #France, #Germany, #Italy, etc.), #Iran, #Israel, #Russia, #SaudiArabia, #Ukraine, #US, #VietNam, etc. This can be achieved first by legalizing LHD (Left-Hand Drive) vehicles for domestic use (#USVirginIslands and the Bahamas drives on the left like #India yet have no major problems safely accommodating significant amount (even being the majority like #USVirginIslands) of LHD vehicles) including #MakeInIndia LHD vehicles, pedestrianizing some two-way roads (i.e. closing some two-way roads to vehicle traffic but only allowing pedestrians), and turning some two-way roads into one-way.

@@rameshsingh2480 It has nothing to do with anything bloody. Legally and rightfully it belongs to the UK. You guys are been taken for a ride. Know the real history of that diamond. Shah Shuja of Afghanistan, Nader Shah of Iran. Kohinoor's sister diamond Darya Noor.

Perhaps India should propose and press for a particular date for its return, somewhat like a date that was pushed for partition.
