That was not non violence. It was simple strategy of bycotting British goods to decrease their profit margin and gaining indian debt. That worked too, British were in terrible fiscal balance, before independence, india was no longer profitable for British and these movements played huge part in it. Second thing you have said was quit india was non violent, check your fact before uploading video, even a tenth pass know ,quit india was one of the most violent movement that ever happened.Third thing you have said wrong is ,Gandhi wanted dominion status in 1938. Actually in 1929 Jawahar declared full independence as ultimate goal of congress. Gandhi himself promoted Jawahar for presidency that year. Dominion status was history for any congress member by 1938, let alone Gandhi. Also I respect Bose, and I do agree Ina trial was definitely the breaking point for British, but Subhash asking for support of Japanese was very bad decision, if Japanese would have won, then we would be Japanese colonie instead . And they don’t even acted on paper to maintain human rights in colonies, like British dose. They even house arrested Mohan Singh the real founder of INA ,when he asked for full command,Bose was nothing but a puppet in their hand to inslave india.

I spoke with a British film maker from the 80's a few years back. She happened to have made a documentary, including Subhashchandra Bose' team mates. She spoke highly of their struggle and experiences, things that were never mentioned in our history books. It is very important for us to know about the facts about our people who helped build our country, so we know how much we must all fight in our own way, to protect it. God Bless India. Do they have any thing better compared to Shri.Vallab Bhai Patel, Lokmanya Tilak and many other great freedom fighters. Afterall congress was the mother of corruption and all negativity stems from the time of coming into being by the white skinned sinners.

More important to understand what Bose, Sardar Patel and Nehru said about Mahatma Gandhi. All of them really admired and respected Gandhi. They had difference of opnion, but all agreed that Gandhi had the best intention.
Even Gandhi after 1930's took a more agressive stand on the British. The Quit India movement was a result of this. He also after 1930's did not condemn any violence against the british rule, he was very clear that India needs independence at any cost.

That starts since Islamic invasion and those 300yrs brave sons of Bharat fought to keep the invaders out of Sindh.

How could it possibly have been Bose? He was dead before the British left! Also, the INA were defeated and had surrendered in Singapore, they never posed any real threat to the British military, and the Indian naval mutiny was a failure that ended with the surrender of the mutineers to the British authorities.
Just because you wish it had been Bose doesn't mean it actually was! Jeez, it's like dealing with demented schoolchildren!

As an Indian take pride in all that our freedom fighters did to give us this gift of independence.
These heroes did all that they could do that we could get what belonged to us.
Some believed in violence some in non violence. Both needed enormous courage, will power and determination.
I personally agree to the non violence movement n believe it takes unbelievable strength to fight the non violence battle

Gandhi never had honest approach.... A dishonest cunning man....just like current Dishonest Netas and politics... It was Subhas Chandra Bose and INA whose die hard approach for independence spread the fear on British dynasty...and the internal support from True patriots that make them leave in a hurry.... Jai Hind ❤

Agreed there are several analysis state that if at all Ghandi would stop his rants and Netaji had not retreat, stayed in india only... by then 1930s itself at first world world war, we would have attained independence and get the league of nation... again do you know j nehru denied UN, and security start ups for india to enter G3 Developed country. damn it.

Lots of diplomatical mistakes or rather say lackadaisical blunders that posh Dickhead and his grand family made is now POK, Aksai Chin, strategical Island to Sri Lanka, Arunachal was almost lost. The whole epitome of Blunder Raaj... Baap ka maal muft me mila tha na.... This Nation would have been different if Subhas Chandra Bose would have taken over as Leader.

Indian Soldiers in both WW1 & WW2 were a very potent war-machine. The problem was that they were fighting someone they didn't know, for the British who didn't value them. They never got credits for their sacrifices, all of the credits were deliberately stolen by the British and its Allies. India always deserved a permanent seat in the UNSC for the contribution and sacrifices our people made in the wars which had nothing to do with us.

But I noted that in this program, flashback, you cover more stories of India, that's good but be covering other stories from other nations far from India since we recognize this channel as international not just domestic..

It's very much a controversial topic, there were so many patriotics who took part in indipendence struggle, some who led and was in the former position left the arena immediately after getting indipendence they were never specified but those who had self focus other than the nation's interests became very much dignified leaders with a charismatic rememberance how well the generations forget the fortune's they aquerd, my pranams to all daring unknown who took part in the struggle for independence of mother India
    JAI HIND.
