Britishers have been so smart, they used proper legal way to get the Kohinoor from the prince. India or any other country could not claim it even we know it originally belongs to us... It should be rather declared as international heritage which belongs to multiple countries... I think this is the only logical point left...
It was taken from khalsa Raj ,,not from India,, and it was supposed to return to khalsa Raj ,,but that doesn't exist so , technically,THEY can keep it , yes,we Indian. can try ...
@@RavinderSingh-zj6qj what do you mean khalasa raj!? It first belonged to a Hindu empire Keketiya empire, where it was mined. If we go by your logic, the diamond should be returned to the descendants of Keketiya empire not khalasa raj
@@RavinderSingh-zj6qj as per your logic, it should be returned to the place where it was discovered, that is Golconda region in South India. As a Sikh, I laugh at some of the comments of fellow sikhs. Besides, Maharaja Ranjit Singh wanted to give it to some hindu priests.
I also thought that they should give that diamond back to india but i think they can protect it more than Indian gov. After all at least the country people knows that their precious thing is safe and where it is. There is a lots of ancient precious indian things in uk but they never tried to take back .
Kohinoor is a Natural Gem and should not be announced as someone’s personally Owned thing. Also, debates on getting Kohinoor back to its origin will only result in global quarrels and controversies, it must be somewhere where it’s preserved without any threat.
@@Vision_Voyagers but it is a very big matter related to world politics and india is peaceful country so, we should leave koh i noor at england and focus on improving our country poverty, education system and politics
I first heard about Maharaja Duleep Singh from Assassins Creed Syndicate Game, which is based on the late 19th Century London. Was quite spectacled to see an Indian character in the game, sad that such history is never told.
Since childhood, we are hearing that Kohinoor belongs to India. You explained it clearly through your research and study in simple way about the history of this diamond. It will be helpful if you can also link references of your finding so that if there is any doubt people can read them. Keep it up 👍. Effects shown in this video were simply awesome and your way of telling the story makes things easy to understand.
Whether Kohinoor should be brought back or not, I don't have any view. But your video was great. An excellent presentation and collection of information from all sides. Great work Dhruv, all the best.
What a educational video. It's more educational than UDAIPUR incident. Covering theory not real incident on the name of Education. " Ye Sab Dogla pn He "
According to legend, the stone was first mined in Kollur Mine, India, during the period of the Kakatiya dynasty. There is no record of its original weight, but the earliest well-attested weight is 186 old carats (191 metric carats or 38.2 g). It was allegedly later acquired by Delhi Sultan Alauddin Khalji

In my opinion the KOHINOOR diamond should not be taken back and it should be let where it is now ( at the London Tower). Bringing it back is not an Easy task. Moreover I believe inspite of making efforts to bring it back , the government should focus on improving the standard of living of the people in India by creating more employment opportunities and increase manufacturing sector by establishing new industries ( just an opinion)

Thank you, Druv for this amazing video. One thing I understood from this vedio is that it's actually the belief system about this jewel that has made it so expensive. Otherwise, my reaction would be the same, if I happen to see it, which was given by the people of England on seeing it for the first time.

This diamond has been a part of the history for quite a long time. Thanks for your amazing explanation, learnt many new things about Kohinoor.
Uploading regular words with full of information on time is not a very simple matter hats off to you man...
Britishers have been so smart, they used proper legal way to get the Kohinoor from the prince. India or any other country could not claim it even we know it originally belongs to us... It should be rather declared as international heritage which belongs to multiple countries... I think this is the only logical point left...
It was taken from khalsa Raj ,,not from India,, and it was supposed to return to khalsa Raj ,,but that doesn't exist so , technically,THEY can keep it , yes,we Indian. can try ...
Correct it should be provided to international musium for tourists
@@RavinderSingh-zj6qj what do you mean khalasa raj!? It first belonged to a Hindu empire Keketiya empire, where it was mined. If we go by your logic, the diamond should be returned to the descendants of Keketiya empire not khalasa raj
@@RavinderSingh-zj6qj as per your logic, it should be returned to the place where it was discovered, that is Golconda region in South India. As a Sikh, I laugh at some of the comments of fellow sikhs. Besides, Maharaja Ranjit Singh wanted to give it to some hindu priests.
@@shreeshmorkhade4897 ri8
I also thought that they should give that diamond back to india but i think they can protect it more than Indian gov. After all at least the country people knows that their precious thing is safe and where it is. There is a lots of ancient precious indian things in uk but they never tried to take back .
I agree 👍👍
Kohinoor is a Natural Gem and should not be announced as someone’s personally Owned thing. Also, debates on getting Kohinoor back to its origin will only result in global quarrels and controversies, it must be somewhere where it’s preserved without any threat.
I agree

@@Vision_Voyagers your gen your rule
@@Vision_Voyagers but it is a very big matter related to world politics and india is peaceful country so, we should leave koh i noor at england and focus on improving our country poverty, education system and politics

Alauddin precious slave Malik Kaffur won against raja of Ranthambore and stole this konhinoor heera.
