I'd poke my eye out with an arrow using that quiver. They look good in the movies but....

Be interesting to see how they stack up against a Sage for that price point.

This bow is miles ahead of the Samick Sage. Although the price is similar, this bow outclasses the Sage.

@@jasonrichardwatts in what respect? Would be interesting to see how the numbers are crunched. The Sage is a brilliant little bow for that price point. Might have to go in and have a shoot to see how it compares.

Thanks buddy, you made up my mind but I hope I'm not diving in the deep end by getting the 50 pound bow.

I think to get right idea about speed you have to shoot decent huning weight arrows, something like 10 GPP of the actual draw weight. Most of the decent hunting recurves get 180-185 fps speed in that weight.

Stephen, you got a crappy back quiver 😂 take it to someone who can make a Y harnesk for it.

220 FPS is absolutely INSANE! They’re really producing quality bows these days.
That riser could also take ILF adapter plates. Would it be worth it? Probably not as you’d just buy a T-bow or F166.
P.S. The fast arrows are where it’s at for gap shooting because the gap would be so small out to 60 yards which would exponentially increase accuracy.

Does anyone know about the junxing bow string material? I don't think it's dacron, because the strands are thin, low creep and low stretch, it looks like a fast string) from dyneema or spectra, but they are not reinforced tip..every purchase, junxing will give a 16 strands bowstring.

Not gonna lie, it's a beautiful bow but I'm biased against Junxing's bow because each one I've bought over the years has had a warped riser and the limbs don't line up properly or straight and it's a shame as that's a bow I would buy but I'm not gonna risk getting financially burned again.

226 fps is hard to believe

29" 600 spine VAP with 120grn tip is just over 280grn total arrow weight. If this is a 50lb bow then that's only 5.6gpp, drawn to 29" then 220fps sounds reasonable.

He was shooting too light arrows which are not recommended. As far as I know, for hunting recurves, junxing suggests to shoot at least 8 gpp of arrow weight. If you go lighter, you're gonna have mild Dry-Fire effect.
