I've been shooting Archery and bow hunting for 30 years and I'm still on a budget, I'll never pay top end prices for a bow. I've never met a deer that cared whether it was shot with a $300 bow or a $1400 bow lol.

I bought this bow as my first bow and I love it the only problem I had so far is the paint bubbling I have shot it quite alot in the month I've had and I love it and I think I shoot just as good as other people who have started learning on very expensive rigs its tempting to buy another setup for 280 buks just to have as it as a spare its brilliant I was inspired to buy it by this video cheers m8 I wish I found my love for archery sooner

I bought this bow a couple of months ago its the M129, I love it, it is everything that he says it is. I also bought the M108 Pheonix 40 inch, again I love it.
Brilliant i am without work from covid and need something to keep me sane and this seems like an affordable entry level bow would you reccomwnd it for a first bow? I am sure when I visit the archery shop they will have it in for me for not supporting them is my only concern I went to the local archery store and he talked down the Chinese bows and the cheapest entry level was over 1000 without a hard case
@@tristantotev2887 Archery Supplies is I believe one of if not the biggest Archery shop and supplier in Australia. Steve is also a competitor and champion archer. With his 40 plus years in the game if he tells you that this bow can compete with (with the correct form) a 1000 dollar bow then take it as gospel! I would buy this as a first bow, no problem.

I do target archery as a hobby in Turkey. I bought the 'Junxing Max7' Compound Bow in the past months. It is really stable and has beautiful shots. I added a short shorts video to my UA-cam Channel, those who want to examine it can look for shots.
Thank you for this video doing the maths my Drawlength is 32.5 (203 CM tall with finger to finger at 205cm 80 Inch for Americans) so I was going to sub 1.5" draw Length for a cheap bow. I wont do that now since it may only go to 30" (Not doing Tournaments or anything just shooting around at my mates house) but I want a good feel when shooting
I bought this bow about a month ago hit my first real robin hood this week. Fook meh never done that at 18 meters before... Great bow for a beginner 😀
I have a junxing and it's good for what it is. Set your expectations according to the price, 300 bucks, get this or a bear or a pse. If it's a concern spend twice the money for 3 times the quality...
I'm undecided between this and the Topoint T1, looking at both of your ready to shoot packages, is the extra money worth it?
I'm only 6 months into recurve and I started using my oldest son's recurve bow (he stopped due to university and a girlfriend). I enjoy simply shooting and practising in the club.
I tried a compound in the club but the high cost associated and certainly for any add-ons like sight and arrow rests do put me off. I decided compound was not for me.
But below 300$ I could consider a compound in a couple of years when I've outgrown the recurve - if ever.
For a $200 bow, which is a better buy? Junxing Max7 or Sanlida Dragon X8. I will appreciate your answer. Thank you.

Hi Steven, thx for the review! Wich compounds would you recommend for a beginner with a 31.5" drawlenght in the budget to 600 US dollar range? I am a traditional archer with recurve and hybride longbows and want to try a compound. I would like a hunting type package compound to learn to shoot this style. Kind regards and thx. ps I subbed.
I agree its amazing for $200, and looks perfect for the beginner archer. People complaining and compairing it to a bow 10X the price need a reality check. The fact that most of the things you'd like to see with this bow, is the same thing you say about big name American bows. Even the cams being out of time, you did a video on a $1500 bow that was also way out of time. Having said that I personally wouldn't buy one, but certainly recognise the value and appeal.

I bought the M128 and had it on 31" draw. I then bought a Mathews at 31" and yes the Jinxing feels shorter but I wouldn't say more than half inch.. the issue with the M128 was the cam lean that couldn't be tuned. This bow with yokes looks like the revised version. BIGGEST issue with these bows are the strings.. they last about 4 months max and fray like crazy and the serving seperates. The solution? New strings cost me $30 from Junxing haha they're still crap but for the money these bows are fantastic... Matthews copy obviously and they've done well. Best bow to start your compound life.. very happy with them. Also wound tight I think they certainly do get to 70lb!
Hello. I ordered the M128 and heard about that string issue from Russian YTs. Are the strings readyly available on their site (because Ali is empty)? Because i am getting worried about availability in future. Thanks in advance.
@@eeee3279 I contacted them directly off their website. They are easily available and cheap. If you can't get access to a bow press easily, you can just use a mobile bow press, there is a Junxing version which fits the limbs and is very cheap on eBay.
@@mitchimal Thanks for the tip, mate. I'll go and check it out. Maybe will use as a template, for more durable solutions. Although we don't have any archery shops or proffessional masters over here, as far as i understand.

Why dont you wind it up to the max. Ill twist the string to get the rated speed.

I recently purchased a Junxing M129 compound bow thinking I would receive the product completely assembled and ready to use but they sent a disassemble product that I had to get it assembled for use. I had to do it myself to save some money from the archery shop and just looked for some videos of Junxing product but did not get much information. I was able to assemble it but not sure if I did it the right way. NOT SURE if the twist of the cables and string was correct, as I think it should be twisted in a certain way. CAN YOU PLEASE ADVICE and HELP? Thanks so much.

bought a JUNXING 38 pound Recurve Bow, unfortunately my wife cant use it because its too hard for her to pull to get a clean shot.
What can i do? Do i have to change the Bow Arms or can i do something with another bowstring?
With a recurve bow, you can untwist the string to reduce the draw weight slightly, but this will also affect your brace height so you don't want to change it too much. If you need to adjust it by more than a pound or two, you'll need to get different limbs. I hope that helps.
@@patentleatherkicks thanks, cant untwist my string, its not twisted, its more like lots of little string becoming one once they on the limbs. I will buy another one for my wife, guess thats the only solution which works :)

I bought a Bear compound once and was extremely disappointed at 20 yards it was ok 30 yards was very inconsistent and the space between 30 and 40 yard pins was more spread out and couldn’t get a 50 yard pin to set 40 yards was very inconsistent

Sure, why wouldn't it be. 240-260 fps will shoot through a whitetail with no problems whatsoever.

At that price, nobody should really need the benefits explaining to them too much... It's just such a cheap way into the sport that it makes it incredibly accessible. Might even tempt some trad or recurve folks to pick one up as a curiosity.
Hell, it's surely a go-to for anywhere looking to have a few loan bows ready like a club or archery gym. Minimal effort to tweak and away they go. Even if dry fired and wrecked, it's hardly big expense. Perfect to learn on.
300 bucks is still a lot of cash for a so called budget compound bow. I picked up a new pse stinger R.T.S. for 350 on sale. The pse is a better choice then this thing.

@@Life-of-Bluegrass_Music I shoot a Mathews Traverse, 12 month old, 10 month of use, 2 month waiting for spares: first limbs replaced as the coating started cracking, then the bearing collapsed, then - with just 10 month of use!!! the bow string (genuine Zebra string) broke at the D-loop ...(no, bow was never dryfired), my first bow was a Chinese Topoint, no issue at all with this bow (this one I dryfired when I got it - typical beginner error, broke some strands of the bow string, string was replaced) and it is still going strong ....so much about quality of made in US ...
Eta: forgot to mention: the Traverse costed more than 3 times more compared to the Topoint ....
That’s an absolute RIPPER of a bow for the price. Remember the old Bowtech Tomkats you used to sell at around $900 for the package? That bow is less than one third of the price but I bet it’s pretty comparable performance wise.

@@sahhull Try the Edge, I'm not sure any of these bows are really really worth the money but someone once told me that if one is willing to pay the asking price then it's worth it. I think it comes down to the eye of the beholder and what they find beautiful. I don't think there's a huge difference in performance, it's the archers skill and experience that determines success or lack of, to hell with what the Pro's say, they're just trying to sell a product to make money.
Is a bow you list for $280 bare on your web site really a $200 bow? Seems reasonable to expect you to get the price right.

Can you settle an argument please I just bought the m128 which they sold me as a machined riser but when I got it it is not its cast. I work with metals I can see its cast. Its a cast riser isnt it?

Been arguing with the bastards for days they swear its machined I told them I work with metals I can tell cast from machined. Bastards should be shot. I was going to buy the topoint one but price swayed me. It is a good bow to be sure but I hate being lied to.
@@swillbill6640 that's really frustrating.. you certainly couldn't get a bow from China from a 5axis mill haha would be bloody nice though! The riser is solid at least and not heavy so it's pretty good. Even the threads hold up great. Used a front and rear stabiliser which I take off after use and never had burring. I get it's false advertising but to be honest most of the specs are false advertising on this thing 🤣

You could but your draw length would determine how it would feel on your fingers. Usually you’d want a longer axle to axle when shooting with fingers around 35” to 40”+ ata.

@@sahhull because shooting barebow compound is fun. I can shoot very accurately to 30 yards and still shoot 3d comps out to 50y and still get respectable scores (usually around the mid way pack of guys shooting pins and release)

@@greenhoodedvigilante458 And the other thing is they all have to get their ideas from somewhere. I don't think there is one bow out there that is totally unique, that bears absolutely no resemblance to another bow, well maybe Oneida. Same goes for tennis rackets.
@@capricornmagic63 probably the only one that is truly unique I would say is APA, asides that they all rip off eatchother. But the Bowtech deadlock is also pretty unique.

That bow is not set up for maximum pull weight.
He does all his test at 60 pounds. So the bow would not be maxed out.
For a 200 dollars now I don't believe that those are American limbs either.
They're Gordon glass. Not sure where exactly they're made but it's the same stuff as the US use

The problem with Chinese bows is that they are all right handed.
Not quite true, Junxing do a series of shoot through bows at different specs, the M106 is at the lower end and the M122 comes to mind which is a higher spec. One can be changed from right to left but they do one that is a true ambidextrous bow.

Jinxing have just ripped off Border Archery’s Tempest design and IP. I wouldn’t mind if it weren’t for the fact that they are a small company trying to provide innovative products and can’t afford world wide patents (not that they worked well for Hoyt when they had their design stollen).
I love this channel, but I can’t stand by and let these thieves market products as if they were there own design and as if they had spent their own money on developing the concepts.
If you buy these products, you are providing the demand. You are to blame for the death of small companies and their drive to innovate.

My question is, why can I buy limbs for my bow (American) at around $350 USD with a warranty but these bows are less in total value? These bows only promote fuck heads and this why we see bin chickens, kangaroos and wombats with shitty fibreglass arrows in them! Keep it classy.
you mean cheap goods / cheap labor promotes f ...heads? ....leaving all the fun stuff for the people who can afford to pay big $$ (which they save on cheap labor costs) and let the rest work for them for little $$ so they can buy even more pricier toys?
@@WM-jy9dz it would seem that these cheaper products, being so throw away, don't exactly promote serious sport enthusiasts but rather a lot more of said fuck heads. Of course everyone starts somewhere with less expensive and lower quality products but I'm yet to see $20+ arrows stuck in native wildlife. Perhaps education and training is needed when purchasing potentially harmful goods?
The things you can't do for the price with that bow , you can do in communist or underdeveloped countries where labor laws don't exist....
