- A twenty-minute walk up the Marianne River in Blanchisseuse brings you to 3 Pools river.This river destination features 3 deep basins that were formed as the river plunged across a plateau over a steep rock shelf.
The hike to the pools is rated 2 (out of 5, 5 being the hardest) so it is suitable for all ages. The first pool features shallower waters and is ideal for wading and non-swimmers. Between the first and second pools one finds a naturally formed water-slide that adds a great fun element.
The 3rd pool is where the adventurous finds the greatest enjoyment. One can climb the nearby rocks and jump 15 feet in the pool below.
A visit to 3 Pools can be combined with a hike to the nearby Avocat Waterfall. You can either begin at the waterfall and following the river to the pools or first going to the pools and then continuing up river to the waterfall.
Some folks don't appreciate the beauty of the country. The beautiful experience is free, so clear the nastiness before leaving.

Time to invest in a waterproof bag. Great Advice and kudos for showing both the beauty and sadly the beast on this trip. This is truly an epic spot with some effort, and peeps gotta know how to swim or at least walk with some life jackets to truly enjoy the water

Never went here Dis is BLANCHESSEE,,nice place to swim. You should get those slip on shoes you wear at the beach to walk in the water. All beautiful. Except those Stinking. Dutty people leaving the garbage. Mabye you guys can take out some garbage with you on your hikes. Keep good. One Vandervelt looks real good.

Hi guys excellent video and guide, we visited and the nature was amazing...the hike was smooth and the pools amazing...but important to mentuon that parking is not safe and at your own risk....when we visited 4 car windows were smashed and belongings taken from each....safety emphasis
