The defense never claimed the gloves wouldn't fit. The prosecution, out of nowhere, demanded him to. It was very foolish.

If the white rubber gloves is already too small such that his fingers are not fully going in, of course he's going to struggle badly to put on the next glove on .... and on top of that, the friction with the rubber glove will make it very hard to fit in....

Not only did he spread his hands wide while putting them on, it’s hard to put them over rubber, and soaked in blood souls shrink them. Plus I case recently an older video of him before the murder where he was wearing the identical pair while holding a microphone. Hmmmm
The leather gloves didn't fit because they had been soaked in blood. Plus he had the latex gloves on underneath, and was obviously putting on a show pretending to struggle getting them on. The dumbest move the prosecution made.
And also frozen to preserve dna. All which causes leather to shrink. He also had arthritis in his hand which he was known for having swelling.

Or, simply because his wife bought the gloves for him..they were a little small it doesn't mean he didn't use them...
The gloves were bagged and stored for a long time after testing. Leather fibres are liable to “tighten” if not regularly worn. Thats why a brand new pair of oxfords or brogues can be difficult to put on when you first buy them. There is also a suggestion that the gloves were still wet prior to being packed which could have caused shrinkage. Simpson also suffered from arthritis in his hands, so as long as he refrained from taking anti-inflammatories, his hands would swell up. The prosecution seriously dropped the ball by asking him to wear those gloves.
Trying on gloves over the top of a pair of surgical gloves is ridiculous, this serious error set him free.
Everyone forgets that they also had OJ try on brand new versions of the same exact gloves & they fit perfect. The damage had already been done tho with the actual murder gloves 🤦♂️

Of course the glove didn’t fit … he had another pair of white gloves on when trying to put the other gloves on at the same time. That would of course would prevent the original gloves from fitting.
He also deliberately came off his arthritis meds which caused his hands to swell. Unbelievable.
Only 300 pairs of those gloves ever made, and he did in fact own a pair. One was found at the scene of the crime, the other appeared to be accidentally dropped on his own property, had matching dna from all 3 of them, and also found a blood smear matching browns in his bronco. Highly unlikely some random person wanted to kill her and frame him, especially when prior to this she told the police and her family in record if she ended up dead it will be him who killed her since he gave her death threats during their rocky relationship they had after she left him. Crazy how he got off

the thing i never understood is, who cares if the glove fits or not. all your doing is holding the glove in your hand to cover your finger prints. you can literally hold the glove as a wash cloth to hold on to the knife.

Where's the video that shows days later that the exact sized gloves, (new), slipped right onto his hands. Perfect fit. We all saw it during the trial, because there was nothing else on tv back then. Why does the internet leave this out?
lol, OJ was the killer. Read the book by the lawyer that won the civil case. The crime scene was littered with foot prints. Turns out those shoes were $1500 Italian shoes that the company said only 3 pair were sold in America. OJ testified he never owned such shoes but the lawyer for the civil case found a paparazzi that had photos of OJ in those shoes. 911 call by Brown identified OJ being there and breaking into her house. The gloves, give me a break, anyone can pretend form fitting leather gloves don’t fit, not counting shrinkage from being wet with blood. He got away with it because he’s OJ and we definitely don’t have equal justice in this country.
Plus he admitted at least twice. Once in prison but that was thrown out because they said he was telling a clergy

Leather gloves are made using thin, stretched leather that wants to shrink back to it's original size when it gets wet.

I'm reading more and more about this case, even after watching the series with Cuba Gooding in a few years ago. It's fascinating, but I feel real anger at the injustice for Nicole and Ron. It's obvious that O.J. was the killer. He had a knack for getting what he wanted from others, getting away with things. The way Jonnie Cochrane reacts to a murderer getting away with double murder, he clearly believed he was helping a framed black man to freedom. How can a guy with intelligence have the wool pulled over his eyes I will never know.

You had Mark Fhurman that lied under oath, then plead the 5th when asked about planting evidence in an attempt to frame a suspect. Couple that with 'murder' gloves that didn't even come close to fitting, then you have an acquittal. The only one that got convicted was Mark Fhurman and rightfully so. Obviously you know nothing about this case or you choose to turn a blind eye to racism and crookedness on behalf of the LAPD. The Jury got it right. Get over it.
